Calvius
So here is my competative Team for Pokemon X which I use most of the time: Mamutel - Mamoswine @ Focus Sash Ability: Snow Cloak Jolly (+Spe, - SpA) EVs: 252 Atk / 112 HP / 146 Spe - Earthquake - Icicle Crash - Ice Shard - Stealth Rock He is my Stealth Rocker. With good speed / Focus Sash he always gets them out. Ice Shard OHKOs lead Noiverns and EQ / Icicle Crash are strong STABS. Joker - Banette @ Banetteonite Ability: Frisk / Prankster (Mega) Impish (+Def, - SpA) EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 6 Def - Shadow Sneak - Will-O-Wisp - Taunt - Destiny Bond This is my Mega, and I love it. Nature and EVs seem kind of random (and they are ) but it works pretty well! Prankster is awesome and the Shadow Sneak 2HKOs Mewtwo 'n stuff. Priority Destiny Bond always works and is good for suprises, hehe Galeomo - Garchomp @ Life-Orb Ability: Sand Veil Adamant (+Atk, -SpA) EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 6 HP - Dragon Claw - Earthquake - Brick Break - Stone Edge Life-Orb Garchomp is a beast, thats clear. With kinda maxed speed he has the opportunity to kill other Garchomps / Mega-Garchomp (OHKO thanks to Life-Orb) and outspeed many other Pokemon. 4 attacking moves for good coverage, nothing left to say. Taru Jr. - Jolteon @ Air Balloon Ability: Volt Absorb Timid (+Spe, - Atk) EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 6 SpD - Thunderbolt - Thunderwave - Shadow Ball - Volt Switch Jolteon is for Greninjas. Because I hate them. Flamikaze - Arcanine @ Leftovers Ability: Intimidate Adamant (+Atk, - SpA) EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 6 HP - Flare Blitz - Wild Charge - Crunch - Extremespeed Pretty much the same as Garchomp. Maxed attack, fast and good coverage. Plus Extremspeed as a finishing / revenge kill move. Leftovers are there to compensate the recoil damage. Albus - Espeon @ Light Clay Abiity: Synchronise Modest (+SpA, -Atk) EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 6 SpD - Psyshock - Calm Mind - Reflect - Dazzling Gleam It is a offensive set more than a defensive, I still run Reflect on it with Light Clay. I'm not 100% happy with my Albus, and I think I'm gonna breed another one earlier or later, which will be devensive, with both Reflect and Light Screen. So, what do you think? Any critics, suggestions or other stuff? This team does really well, and my only problem that I encounter often is Weavile. Arcanine is the only one that can deal with it, but he takes too much damage from this thing .. any ideas?
RasenShot
IMO, you should run a Magic Bounce Espeon, Sync. isn't that reliable, also with MB you can force switch hazard setters while you set up your own Reflect.Same thing with Mamoswine, if you're not using a Hail team, there's no reason to be running Snow Cloak, since Thick Fat mitigates a bit that Fire weakness while weakening Ice types as well. For the Garchomp, instead of Brick Break, why not Poison Jab or even Iron Head? if you have the time to breed another Gible that is.I haven't tested Mega Banette yet, but since Prankster doesn't activate the turn you mega evolve, maybe you should run Protect over Taunt to ensure you don't get OHKO before you can even attack. The Jolteon looks great, but lacks coverage... So If you can manage to breed one with Hidden Power Ice, or even Bug, I can tell it would be a lot better.Anyways, it looks like a well balanced team, with some weakness to Ice and maybe ground, but great regardless. Chevaleresse
I would carry HP Ice or Signal Beam over Thunder Wave, personally. Jolteon isn't really the best statuser, imo, because it's so frail and has that amazing speed to abuse. I know it sounds odd, but I use Shell Bell on Arcanine to compensate for recoil. It's going to be attacking every turn anyway, and it essentially works as a recoil reducer. Agree with Magic Bounce over Synchronize; unless you're doing something gimmicky like a Flame Orb set, Magic Bounce is better in every situation. Depending on how much you want to stall with Espeon, Stored Power seems to be the STAB of choice for Calm Mind sets. Calvius
This is my first team, so it isnt perfect .. i wanted to have a magic bounce espeon, and I'm defenetly gonna breed another one (sp. Wall, double screener) in the future!
