[I'M BANDED]
[Azumarill] (M/F) @ [Choice Band]
Trait: [Huge Power]
EVs: [252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP]
[Nature] Adamant
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Ice Punch
- Superpower

[Your bread and butter banded Azumarill set. Aqua Jet is quite an effective tool, with sand running rampant. Kills Doryuuloses, Ran(doro)sus, and the like. Superpower is your best tool for the omnipresent Nattorei, hopefully you can predict its switch in on a fleeing Doryuulose or something. Ice Punch is effective for killing other Grass Pokémon, while Waterfall is a solid STAB move when you need to forsake priority for some more oomph. Double Edge can be a viable alternative move, but the set here provides the best coverage. Finally, note that Burungeru is your bane no matter which move you use, lest you want to try to get an Ice Punch freeze.]

Huge Work Up
Azumarill (M/F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Huge Power
EVs: 252 Attack/ 128 Defense/ 128 Special Defense
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Ice Punch
- Superpower
- Work Up

Azumarill is the third strongest Water Physical attacker period, under Crawdaunt and Feraligatr. This set is bulky enough to survive most unboosted SE attacks, and after a Work Up, it hits 654 attack, high enough to cause Aqua Jet to hit like anything else's Waterfall would, if not harder. With powerful coverage like Ice Punch and Superpower, things like Ferrothorn, Salamence, and Dragonite have a hard time coping with its power. A set based on pure power with the only thing in mind is to destroy its opponents. Nothing much else to say.

Tidal Train
Azumarill (M/F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Huge Power
EVs: 128 HP/ 252 Attack/ 128 Defense
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Ice Punch
- Superpower
- Grass Knot

Aqua Jet hits as hard as a train smashing into you when your using Azu. Aqua Jet is the main reason why people use Azumarill, the other moves really don't matter unless you run into a ferro or an eviosey. Aqua jet has a base power of 40 and is a priority move, STAB increases that 40 into a 60 base power, rain then adds another half base to the whole making it into a terrifying 90 base power move. Now Azu's attack maxed and adamant only reaches 218 (low), but it's ability "Huge Power" raises it 50% turning that attack power into 327. Choice Band also raises it 50% turning 327 into a 490 attack power, that crazy.

So what we have so far is 490 attack power and a move that has a base power of 90. That's all you need to know about Azu.

GImmick

Azumarill (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat/Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Whirlpool
- Perish Song
- Protect
- Rest/Dig/playrough/knockoff/waterfall/toxic

With Mega Gengar most likely to be banned one might think that the Perish trap no longer exist but they are WRONG! Azumarill is a pretty bulky pokemon and with the buff to 3-5 turn trap moves like infestation/firespin and whirlpool. this works pretty well against stall teams.
Pretty much trap pokemon with whirlpool and than use perish song to kill them. yea i used it once and it beat a chancy and no one even expects it altho no one switches it in on a chancy or a blissey on an Azumarill. dig is to protect your self while you wait for perish song to reach zero and protect does the same thing. you could give it sap sipper but it can't learn dig so you have to teach it something else but you can trap grass pokemon who don't know poison moves. eves for defense are random i guess i don't really know best eves or nature for it but just make sure you have max hp and the rest spread out well in defenses.

[OUTTA MY WAY!]
[Azumarill] (M/F) @ [Life Orb]
Trait: [Huge Power]
EVs: [252 Atk / 128 HP / 128 SDef ]
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet/Waterfall
- Ice Punch
- Superpower/Brick Break

- Knock Off/Return/Bulldoze

Azumarill wrecks stuff. Really hard.
Basic Aqua Jet for priority to make up for Azumarill's lack of speed, go with Waterfall if you want it to hit harder. I'm pretty sure even a defensive Gliscor wouldn't stand up to Azumarill's Waterfall. (Ran the calcs; 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 184+ Def Gliscor: 206-246 (58.1 - 69.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Poison Heal)

Superpower damages whatever thinks it can switch into Azumarill safely, though Azumarill would have to switch out afterwards due to the Atk/Def drop. Brick Break is another option to cover the Rock/Dark/Ice types who might try to wall Azumarill (lol), don't forget Brick Break destroys dual screen Espeon/Klefki's screens.

Knock Off is a rather underrated move, it tends to work very well on things like Landorus-T and pretty much anything Azumarill can take a hit from that isn't a Mega-Evolution, as it can potentially knock off a Scarf/Life Orb on threatening sweepers.

Return is a high-damage Normal-type attack with 102 base damage, which is insanely high combined with Huge Power.

Bulldoze is often overlooked, but actually useful for slow Pokemon like Azumarill. If you don't run anything with Sticky Web, like a Galvantula or Smeargle, Bulldoze might be a move to take into consideration.

All these coverage move options are well and good, but why don't you even have a slashed option for Play Rough? A 90 BP Physical stab Fairy type move is a _huge_ boon to Azumarill's move pool and is definitely worth at least /mentioning/.
