Professor Layton: Pokemon Master
Hes the fastest thing alive! hitmonlee (M/F) @ normal jewel Trait: unburden EVs: 252 atk/ spd adamant Nature - fake out - hi jump kick - blaze kick - rock slide/level field start with the fake out to use the normal jewel and raise hitmonless speed to a level that cant be reached by a pokemon unless the speed boost, scarf, or priority. after that start hit things with your feet and watch all the pokemon that fall before your mighty legs. a great lead and a nice way to stop an aerodactyl from setting up stealth rock. the choice of rock slide v. level field comes down to whether or not you want a strong flinch flinging possible move or whether you want to slow down a pokemon that you know will beat hitmonlee in a swan song type deal. This stratagy is unfortunatly ended if you get phazed after using the jewel or if the fake out is protected. forcing you to fight while slower or retreat and hope to fight another day. -- thanks N8 i sometimes forget the whole dream world limitations. N8theGr8
ReverLiechi Hitmonlee @ Liechi Berry Trait: Unburden EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Speed / 4 Defense IVs: 30 HP Adamant/Timid Nature - Bulk Up / Meditate - Endure / Substitute - Reversal - Stone Edge / Rock Slide Because Hitmonlee's Speed will already be ridiculously high once Unburden is activated, a Salac Berry isn't necessary. Instead, Hitmonlee wants more power, so go for a Liechi Berry. The goal, as with all Reversal sets, is to get down to 1 HP and wreak havoc with a max power Reversal. Endure is more reliable, but if Hitmonlee is behind a Sub when he's at 1 HP there's practically nothing that stops him other than residual damage. If you are going to use Substitute, you have to use no HP EVs and 30 HP IVs to get down to 1 HP. Bulk Up lets you do something if you get a free turn, but Meditate might be a better option while using Endure because Hitmonlee's goal is to get down to 1 HP which is harder with more bulk behind him. Reversal is obvious. Because Sucker Punch is illegal with Unburden, the choice between Stone Edge and Rock Slide comes down to whether you want power or accuracy/flinch chance. -- Taro, you need to change your set, Unburden is illegal with Sucker Punch and therefore it cannot be used. Conor
HItmonlee @ leichi berry/ fighting gem trait:unburden 255 attack, 255 speed - close combat - endure - blaze kick - rock slide ok so whats up with all dis hi jump kick, i need accuracy for my moves. this set youll see is kind o fsimmalar to n8's set, but at the same time different. he is usally maent for a lead btu can be used anywhere for this. the whole trick is what pokemon are you faceing. if youve facing a fortress, obviously dont endure but close combat his ass. if youve got a nine tales lead to face you endure. you get an attack boost from your berry, and by using your berry you get to increase speed through unburden. herer me now you wont sweep more than two pokemon most of the time. is low defense and weakness to scizor (very common) will kil him if bullet punched. still very good set. if you go with fighting gem, he should be used not as a lead. swithc him into a steel type or a dark type for a close combat and use the unburden technique. Neo
Hitmonlee (M) @ Choice Band Trait: Reckless EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Hi Jump Kick - Close Combat - Superpower - Mach Punch Pick your poison. Hi Jump Kick ruins other teams if they don't have any ghosts. So does CC, but that def. fall is brutal. Superpower is a good one if you are going to switch out a lot, and Mach Punch for Filler/Priority.
