Ysera
WARNING: I might correct you on several assumptions. It is impressive how generally incorrect the international view of this country is in regards to how it actually feels to live in it. Alright, takin' off my dear neighbor Argentina's lead, let's see how much you guys know about Brazil, country of Carnaval, Jungle Japes, and absurd weather. And ye, pls no copy wikipedierino
Tempest
It's hosting the 2016 Summer Olympic Games, Has one of the biggest cities in the world, Rio de Janero, which I probably just butchered the name of, which contains the Christ Statue. Contains a large section, if not all of the Amazon and Amazonian River. Also has Sao Paulo and the capitol is Brasilia, which was an attempt to draw people into the interior part of the country. Largest speaker of Portuguese in the world and the fifth largest by both land and population. Birthplace of Pele. Now I didn't use any outside sources and I'm sure some of this is wrong. Notus
In fact everything is quite right, but São Paulo is actually bigger than Rio. You're well informed mister. Edited February 14, 2014 by Notus
Ysera
It's hosting the 2016 Summer Olympic Games, Has one of the biggest cities in the world, Rio de Janeiro*, which I probably just butchered the name of, which contains the Christ Statue. Correctum. You just missed a letter in Rio's name, but the English pronunciation usually mutes that particular "i". Also, although Rio is one of the biggest cities, São Paulo, which you mentioned, is actually bigger! And to finalize, it contains a large section of the Amazon, it's not entirely in Brazil's territory, just to clear that doubt.

Redo.
Birthplace of Pelé, Zico, Romario, Ronaldo (The fat one... yup, the only one that deserves to be called Ronaldo and my favorite striker in the world), Dinho, Ze Roberto, Roberto Carlos, Cafú, Kaká, Lucio, Maicom, Pepe, Dida, Robinho... I could continue, but I don't wanna. It's touched by the ecuador (You know, latitude 0° 00' 00''), got the "triple frontera" with Argentina and Paraguay (And it's separated by the "Cataratas del iguazú"). famous for it's beach and carnaval (With starts in february or march, but it's one if not the famous in the world). There is the Maracana, biggest stadium in the world, and they believe that Pelé is better than Maradona... poor guys. Oh, and we all love the garotas. Yup, that's the vision of an Argentinian Edited February 14, 2014 by Hinaru-Sama
