DrMudkip Posted June 7, 2011 Share Posted June 7, 2011 Ze Lulz Chansey (F) @ Focus Sash Trait: Natural Cure EVs: 252 HP / 143 Def / 109 Spd Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Protect - Softboiled - Psychic - Attract Description: I really recommend using Protect in the beginning knowing that fighting types could use Focus Blast or something else also knowing that Attract can also be used, protect might be a better choice, and Softboiled, that should be used when your at a low HP moment, you can also equip a Focus Sash making Softboiled your main move. Bullet Posted June 7, 2011 Author Share Posted June 7, 2011 1. Chansey is too weak to utilize Psychic well 2. It you use Protect on Chansey, you should be running Wish over Sofboiled. 3. Your EVs seem somewhat odd, also, odd mumbered EVs are a bad idea. Any EVs invested should be multiples of 4. 4. Chansey has no use for sash. Neo Posted January 2, 2012 Share Posted January 2, 2012 Chansey (F) @ (No Item) - Softboiled - Toxic - Substitute - Psychic Le Gen 1 wonder. Chansey TANKS the special dominated Gen 1 metagame. With a cool 308 special Chansey has no trouble brushing off the likes of Slowbro and Mewtwo. Softboiled is an excellent healing move, that keeps your HP up after subbing. This set catches some of it's usual counters(get it?) by surprise and with Eviolite, has the bulk to pull it off successfully. Here's an example play: Start of turn 1 The foe's Genesect used U-turn!A critical hit! Chansey lost 391 HP! (55% of its health) Ibeonmysuitntieshit called Genesect back! Ibeonmysuitntieshit sent out Lucario! Chansey used Counter! The foe's Lucario lost 100% of its health!The foe's Lucario fainted! EDIT: Genesect downloaded an attack boost. You can also do this with Scizor or any physical attacker that stays in and doesn't pack something like STAB Close Combat/Superpower. You then follow up with Softboiled at an appropriate time to regain HP. The rest of the moveset is standard filler. Enjoy c: Edited April 13, 2013 by TheyCallMeTony. Ashka Posted April 18, 2013 Share Posted April 18, 2013 Snatch is also a nice option on Chansey if you're using her in Ubers, since a lot of things like Arceus or SubCM Lugia like to switch in on her to try and get a free set up / heal.
