Calvius
Hi guys, Outside in normal grass fields, time does matter for the encounters. But is it the same for caves as well? For example, I'm looking for shiny Machop in Pryous Mountain, but they are kinda rare. Is it possible for them to be more common when its evening/morning etc? Vinny
It's possible? I mean, i can't really say for sure, but i'm guessing that time affects wild encounters in general (Caves and what not...) But like i said, i can't say for sure (I do know that weather affects only event pokemons, not wild ones...)
Administrators Amethyst Posted February 18, 2014 Administrators Share Posted February 18, 2014 Cave encounters are never time-based. Unfortunately, the system isn't set up to do that even if I wanted to. Machop is a 10% encounter rate on all floors of Pyrous, that shouldn't be that bad... Shadow Walker
Just so you know Ame, while searching for a machop in pyrous mountain with carnivine sweet scent (lost count on how many battles) I encountered two shiny slugma's before finding machop ._.
