Developers Voctrode Posted October 9, 2011 Developers Share Posted October 9, 2011 [I was out picking cotton.... shirts from the store] Jumpluff (M) @ Focus Sash / Wide Lens Trait: Infiltrator EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - U-turn - Sleep Powder - Memento - Leech Seed I love this little cotton ball! Though overshadowed in 5th gen by his Whimsical cousin, Jumpluff can do something it can't, that that's put things to sleep. With 350 speed, it's not gonna get out sped by much. Honestly, the main purpose of the Pokémon is to sleep n' switch out. Memento works in conjunction with the focus sash, and forces switches extremely well. [Letting a Bellyzard come in and be able to set up, for example.] Leech seed is really more of a filler than anything else, but you could easily use Reflect, Toxic, or even a large Splash attack. While none of its abilities are significantly useful, I find infiltrator to be.. the least useless, I suppose. Jumpluff doesn't need 700 speed, nor status immunity, and you shouldn't even be using it on a sun team anyway. If you find these useful, go for it, however the small thing infiltrator CAN do seems to be better overall, if the situation comes up, and that situation is if a Pokemon ends up using safeguard. Infiltrator will let Jumpy say "Fuck that!" and sleep you anyway~
