Kenny saw the boulder Explode, and then used his Scalchops to deflect the Shrapnel that flew at the Togepi, as well as standing between it and the Boulder to ensure that she was unscathed. however, he took quite a bit of damage in the process. that's when he felt that bone-chilling wind again!

"there's that wind again! let's get out of here!"

Panicking, he ran, no, he sprinted out of there, and he got winded after about a mile or so, stopping right at the end of the valley. as he waited for the others, he realized that he'd used the last of his energy, and collapsed out of exhaustion.

Theo whipped the Fur Cape on his back out in front of him to take the Shrapnel, guarding Nivia and Blaze, but taking a lot of damage in the process. He struggled to stand now. "We need to get out of here, everybody move, this is no time for squabbles."

Amarantha waddled over to the newly-evolved Pangoro. She had planned on thanking the Dewott - also newly evolved - but he had scrambled off after shouting about leaving. "Are you alright? I think I can help you out with that," she offered, gesturing to the wounds in his back. Without waiting for an answer, she placed one hand on his foot, and focused, simply trying to will the injuries away like she had done with the Houndoom earlier. She felt pretty safe about doing so; Amarantha didn't even know the Dark-type's name, but she doubted he was the type to attack people after catching that blast.

Abruptly, she gasped. Lily and Gale. She turned to look back, trying to ascertain whether they were injured or not.

"Alright, Little one." said Theo. "But as soon as I am healed we need to get moving, whatever is making that wind doesn't seem friendly to me." He turned his head right when the little Creature gasped, worrying about her friends, but Theo didn't hear it, or even know what it was about. He had turned for a similar purpose however. "Lady Nivia! Master Blaze! Are you two alright?"

"Lady Nivia! Master Blaze! Are you two alright?"

----------------------------------

Blaze looked up at the towering Pangoro.

"Yeah... I'm fine, thanks to you." He paused. "...You're um... really big. Thanks for taking on that guy..."

He fell back into a sitting position. The wind was making him nervous again.

"We should probably get going too. I don't really feel comfortable staying here much longer..."

As soon as the blast was gone, Nivia opened her eyes to find herself covered by a fur cape and a huge Pangoro standing guard. She was clearly shaken up by the sudden blast; her coat and blubber were not meant to shield her from physical attacks like those.

"D-Dear Theo, I am fine thanks to you. I c-can't thank you enough for t-taking the hit for me," Nivia answered as she looked up at the Pangoro with the little hat. Yes, it is indeed the little Theo she met back in the woods. "A-And my, what a surprise to see you all grown up. Congratulations! My human partner had told me it was called "evolution." You will find yourself to be a lot stronger than you once were, trust me on that. Although," she gave a glare towards the running, newly-evolved Dewott, "He didn't deserve it."

"We should probably get going too. I don't really feel comfortable staying here much longer..."

As soon as Blaze made his statement, Nivia felt the chilling, dark wind slowly trying to envelop her. She couldn't help but feel disgusted at that; the Dewgong was already not in a happy mood no thanks to that water Pokemon and now she had to deal with that nasty wind again. "What was his problem anyway? I only asked a question and gave a fair warning in advance. There was absolutely no need to attack me or my companions." She growled, then turned herself in the water to face the mountain.

"It seems I have no choice but to go towards the mountain with you, since that wind would not permit me to do anything else. Please don't take my statement the wrong way. I don't mind going since there seems to be a small river leading to our destination. As long as... What was his name?... Kenny stays away from me, I will be perfectly at peace." Her voice dripped with anger as she spoke the Dewott's name. Nivia, however, softened her voice as she addressed her two companions. "Theo, dear, unfortunately, I cannot carry you across the water anymore because of your... Increase in size. However, I will stay with you and Blaze until both of you are ready to go. Just let me know."

As she waited, Nivia observed her company. Aside from Theo, Blaze and that Dewott, there is a Togepi, a Gardevoir, 2 humans - One with a gun and the other a guy - A Houndoom and an Umbreon. The Togepi seemed pretty harmless (and even helped Theo), so Nivia didn't bother suspecting her, yet. The Gardevoir didn't seem too bothered by the wind. She seemed more eager to meet it than the others were. The Houndoom and the Umbreon though, Nivia was not too comfortable about them. Although they didn't attack her, she could see that they are protective of that girl with the gun. "Hmph. Hopefully, they are not as foolish as that annoying, angry Pokemon."

Zephyr had grabbed both Houndoom and Umbreon impulsively and dove for cover when the huge boulder exploded. It was at this moment that her jumpiness had come in handy-- how she managed to lift both Pokemon at once and then dash behind a tree, she had no idea or any care.

That was some freaky wind. It, along with the forest, was pretty new to her.

Some messed up crap was going on here.

Regardless.

She turned to her pals and asked them, "Did it hit you guys anywhere?"

Umbreon and Houndoom just stared at Zephyr. She was asking them both that question, when it was her who had fresh cuts that bled out on her arm...

Sark and Yuki had just traversed the rocks, and were about to go in one straight line to the mountain, when suddenly an orange-red light struck the boulders and shattered them to shrapnel, which came in the direction of Sark and Yuki. "Damn!" Sark yelled, and he blasted out his ThunderBolt to destroy some shrapnel, however, there was much more. "Yuki, I need your help on this!" Sark said as he continued to fire ThunderBolts.

"Of course Lady Nivia." said Theo, in his new gruffer voice. Theo saw all the injured, but there was nothing he could do. "I am going to escort Lady Nivia and Master Blaze to the mountain ahead of time, take care of the injured Little Togepi, I am sure you can do it. Then get out of here. Hopefully we will meet up with you guys again at the mountain." Theo was about to turn to leave, when he turned his head back. "Oh, I almost forgot Little One, What is your name? I am grateful for the healing you gave to me, and I want to be able to properly thank you."

"I'm Amarantha," the Togepi said cautiously, looking around for the source of the blast. "Maybe we should stick together? It seems like a lot of Pokemon around here are heading to that mountain, and I'm certain that I can convince Gale -the human- and Lily to come along. Who knows, we might find some answers there." She paused for a moment. "It also makes it less likely that someone will get eaten or something."

"So the boy is Gale, huh? Judging by his composure, he doesn't look like the poacher-type," Nivia thought to herself as Amarantha and Theo make small talk. Despite her uneasiness with the humans around here, Nivia decided to hold her tongue on her impressions of Gale. After all, the boy didn't seem to have any weapon that can harm her, at least from what Nivia is seeing so far.

"Let's get going then, before we are swallowed up by this disgusting wind." Nivia said. "We can continue chatting as we make our way to the mountain." With that, Nivia began following the current that seems to lead into the valley, looking back once in a while to see if the others are following.

Oh. Cuts.

With the bandage wraps that Umbreon had pulled out of her small messenger bag, Zephyr wrapped up the newly lacerated arm tightly so as to stop the bleeding. Crimson dotted the cloth here and there, but at least it wasn't dripping with blood or soaked with the stuff.

Whatever. She felt fine and her Pokemon were unharmed; everything was okay, so far.

The only thing that bothered her was how she couldn't understand the Pokemon-- at least, the other Pokemon. Another hell of a ruckus had been stirred up abruptly and ended just as suddenly. Yes, she was glad that neither the Dewott nor the Pangoro got too badly hurt-- the Dewott now, however, went missing and it worried her to an extent-- but she had no clue why they'd fought anyway. On that note...

... Why was that Pangoro wearing a hat, a pocketwatch, and a fur cape... ?

Guess it wouldn't help too much to worry about it now. The gunslinger girl walked back to the group along with both hound and... cat-fox-dog-bunny... thing. It seemed that the other Pokemon were fine. From where she was standing though, she couldn't see how the dude was holding up-- he had a Gardevoir with him anyway, and she seemed to be tough despite that slender and feminine figure. Meh, he was probably fine. She couldn't exactly see a dead body lying around at the moment, nor were any Pokemon screaming in agony.

The Dewgong began to press onward. Onward, anyway, seemed to be the only way to go.

No way in hell was she going to stick around to let that sinister breeze brush against her.

Specially cause she was, after all, just clad in a shirt and some shorts. In hindsight,it wasn't hiking/killing people material.

After reaching the other side of the boulders, an orange-red light struck the boulders and now shrapnel made of the boulders headed towards them both. "Damn!" Sark yelled, and he now used his Thunderbolts as Yuki just watched, trying to think what to do. "Yuki, I need your help on this!" Sark yelled at Yuki as she tried to use some move, and then without thinking she launched a Shadow Ball breaking a few shrapnel, but still more were coming to the both. She then used more and more Shadow Balls at the shrapnel Sark did not hit, but even then Yuki got hit once or twice when Sark and Yuki have broken all the shrapnel. "Whew, I'm a bit tired," Yuki said with exhaustion, and then turned to Sark. "Please let me rest for a bit and then we can continue," she said as she got out a Sitrus Berry she got from the Trevenaut and took a bite from it.

Sark and Yuki worked together to destroy most of the shrapnel, but they could not crush it all, and both of them were him by some of it. "Please let me rest for a bit and then we can continue." Yuki said as she started to eat one of the Sitrus Berries. Sark replied: "Ok... But I feel like we're almost there. I'm not sure of what we can expect farther on, so let's be cautious." I'm not sure if Yuki felt it...the wind that just passed from behind us... If she did, she wouldn't want to rest right now, I'm sure of that...

after a few minutes of being unconscious, having collapsed of exhaustion, Kenny got back up. he'd suffered several cuts and bruises from the shrapnel, but he'd protected Togepi in the process.

i'll go it alone from here and get stronger so that outburst kind of thing doesn't happen again... i'm weak! i must fix that.first things first, however, i'll need to get off this path. i get the feeling that the Dewgong doesn't like me at all.

he then started to head off in the direction of the mountain. however, he realized that it would be foolish to just abandon the group. he then stopped on the side of the road, and waited for them to catch up.

Boom. That's essentially what happened. Rocks went flying. The Pokemon seemed to respond quicker than Gale had. In short, a party had started. There was a metamorphosing bear with random objects, a large seal on land, a pretty girl with strong-ass Pokemon, an Oshawott/Dewott that went all ninja, a Cyndaqil with some sort of armband, and pain from the impact.
Gale got up, brushing the rocks from his bodacious jacket, and walked over to Togepi. She was an ambassador and a doctor at the same time, seeming to heal the pain of the Pokemon away. However, he did not notice the giant lean panda talking with her. He nearly crapped his pants.
" 'ey, tubby," he said as he approached. "We on a road trip up the mountain?"

Blaze turned his head to take a last look at the two humans as he followed Nivia along the shoreline. She and Theo were the only ones he knew he could trust. The Togepi seemed friendly, but it traveled with the human boy, who set Blaze on edge. The same could be said to a greater extent of the other human with the Houndoom. She seemed like nothing but danger. Regardless, he wanted to get away from that area as soon as possible. He checked to make sure Theo was coming before turning to Nivia.

"Um..." he began, unsure of what exactly he wanted to say. "What do you think we'll find at the mountain?" He looked at the ground as he continued his pace. "I have this urge to go there, partially because I think it may have something to do with an aspect of my... past, but also partially for a reason unknown to me. I'm not sure what it could mean... Are we perhaps being led there?"

"Perhaps, but we don't really got much choice in the matter, Master Blaze." Theo turned to leave. "And I am sorry Miss Amarantha. I must go with Lady Nivia and Master Blaze. We don't exactly trust some of your numbers. It is nothing personal, just we think it would be best to split ways for now. And just so you know, I am Theodore. It is my duty to protect these two."

Nivia slowed down as she considered what Blaze said as Theo answered the question. She didn't really give much thought about the mountain until the whole fiasco happened. When Blaze mentioned how they were being led there, however, she couldn't help but shiver at that thought. The blue-eyed Dewgong swam closer to the edge, closing the distance between her and her two friends.

"Something tells me, little Blaze, that you may be correct on us being led to the mountain. Whether it is some other force that has that wind do its bidding, or it is the wind itself, I'm not sure. Whatever it may be, however, I know what I want to find. I want to find out where we are and what we can do to get us all back home or, in some cases, find out about our pasts." Nivia said, adamantly. Noticing that she might have came off as rude, she quickly added, "W-Well, those are only my priorities. Whatever else there is, for reasons known and unknown, can also be considered."

"Welp. Poke-nese, we'll be going on ahead. I don't really want to go back to Base without having found anything, and like heck I'm staying here any longer with that freaky presence," Zephyr said, having approached the only other human in the group out of rising exasperation over how she couldn't understand a thing that was going on. "You better take care of that little fella there and that pretty fella over there." For a moment, she eyed him warily, as if issuing a silent "or else" kind of threat, before turning to both Umbreon and Houndoom. "C'mon, you two."

With that, they headed up the trail that led up the mountain, heading past the Dewgong.

Amarantha turned around and glared at Gale for a moment, unsure of who the "tubby" comment was aimed for. She then waved at him and turned back around to waddle up the path to the mountain. I'm honestly not sure why I want to go there, but I sure as hell don't want to stay back in that forest, either.

After finishing her Sitrus Berry Yuki and Sark continued on. She actually did rush to finish the berry because of a strange wind passing by the two, and she didn't feel safe staying there. Heading further down the path, she also realized that if they were going to the mountain before she turned into a Froslass, she would also encounter the icicles that were her frozen and likely dead parents. She wondered if Sark would stop to inspect it but she thought she could just not stop and Sark would probable follower her since they were a team at the moment. After a few more minutes, they both have just reached the base of the mountains, and the icicle was still there from what she could see. She then looked and wondered what direction they should take, and then asked Sark, "Sark, where should we go from here?"

As Yuki asked him which direction they should follow, Sark replied: "That's a good question." Then, he heard a roar not too far from the place they stood. It was one of the cries Sark recognised, however never seeing one before. He had studied the cries of some of the most powerful existing Pokémon. He forgot about everything. He forgot about Yuki being with him. He forgot that the Pokémon would be way too powerful for him. The only thing he could think about was proving himself by defeating an Hydreigon. He ran to the direction where the roar came from.

Kenny, upon hearing the Hydregion, wondered:

was it REALLY a good idea to leave the group? i don't think so. they might have two Fairy Types to help them out, but that won't be enough! However, if we all work together, we might just stand a chance...

He then Sprinted back to protect the group from the Hydregion.
