Nico Nico Nii~
When the flame was coming towards Yuki, she, at the moment, saw death coming, and before the Houndoom came to her rescue, she fainted. Unnoticed she fell into a little nap while the others worried about the baby deino. Then, tossing and turning one of her her berries fell near her mouth, and as she smelled the berry, she began to eat the berry, slowly waking up and seeing many pokemon around. Half-asleep, she said quietly, "Huh, what's going on. Is the Hydreigon down? Ehh, whatever, better get to the mountain." She slowly floated towards the mountains, not to far from the others. sorry I haven't posted, kinda forgot about this tbh
Ojama Yellow
Sark noticed Yuki leaving in the direction of the mountain. "Hey! Yuki! Aren't you going to go with the group? I kind of asked if we could tag along already... C'mon, let's go back."
K_H
Kenny stopped for a second, and thought to himself. Heh, maybe I shouldn't be so hasty to get to the mountain. I should stay with the group, because that's probably the only way we'll survive. And with that, Kenny went back over to Theo, Nivia, and Blaze, resuming his conversation from earlier. "Blaze, I see that you and I both have some sort of Adornment that looks like it came from someone close to us. I know my bracelet is, because my trainer got it for me on the First Anniversary of our Journey's Beginning. When this craziness started, he was lost to a rift, and I was powerless to save him. I'm still hoping he's alive... What about your Armband? who'd you get it from?" with that, Kenny put forward his arm that had his Bracelet on it, showing it to Blaze. Nico Nico Nii~
When Sark yelled out to Yuki she turned to see Sark, who she then remembered that he and her were going together to the mountain, only this time with a few pokemon more in their group. She floated towards Sark and joined the group.
Arkhi
All the Pokemon and people had gathered in a group, more or less. Gale was incredibly anxious to lead the group of scrubs to victory under his awe-inspiring leadership. So, that's what he'd do. Trying not to get punched again by Lily, he would make his announcement short."So! Ladies and, uh.. Pokemon.." he proclaimed. "We've got a mountain to climb. And a hostile wind to avoid. That being said, if you're afraid of it, you'd best find a safer place than Reborn," Gale grinned. "Before we go on, does anyone want a trolley to ride in?" he asked, pulling out a Poke ball, leaving him with one more and a Great ball, smiling in an attempt to avoid hostility. They probably wouldn't want to be with him after Hydriegon's fall, but it was worth a shot.
K_H
Kenny pointed at Gale's Dive Ball, indicating that he might be willing to join Gale temporarily. however, he definitely seemed like he wouldn't just join without a Battle first.
DarkLight
"U-um... I don't think it's very safe to stay here anymore... Especially for Umbra's sake. She... she shouldn't be anywhere near this wind... It feels like it comes from something very powerful and scary..." Nivia had nodded in agreement at her companion's remark on the dark wind. "Little Blaze was probably traumatized by that death, judging by his tears. We should really be off and get to our respective homes, for Umbra's sake and our's." She then felt a chilly presence as a Frolass named Yuki drifted over to join them on their way to the mountain. "Ah, you must be Yuki that Sark mentioned," the Dewgong remarked. "My name is Nivia. It's nice to see a fellow Ice-type besides myself." She then listened to what the human boy ("that murderer," Nivia thought, hostilely) had to say before he took out one Pokeball. From what Nivia could gather, he was trying to persuade one of them to join his party. Nivia noticed how Kenny wanted to accept the invitation, which worried her. "Kenny, are you sure you want to join this guy? What if he is going to turn on us next? Can you really trust him not to kill us?"
K_H
"Nivia, you've got a good point." Kenny then reconsidered his choice, and decided against going with Gale. "Guys, I've got a plan." Kenny then threw his Scalcharang at Gale's Dive Ball. If it hit, the Dive Ball would go out of Gale's possession. Arkhi
Gale reached for his Dive ball, upon noticing that the Dewott approached him. I guess this one wants in, but not without a fight, he thought. However, seconds later, it threw a curved shell at the ball, knocking it from his hand and falling to the ground, shattering. He sighed, looking down. "Figures.. They're still pissed."He went to the far right side of the group beside Lily. At least she'd be open in her disappointment. Gale was ready to get a move on. Zephyrus the Priestess
Both Umbreon and Houndoom watched as the Dive Ball was destroyed. They could understand where their mistrust in Gale was coming from, and even instinct told them to be wary of a person who could kill a Pokemon... But... Climbing onto the hound's back and resting her forelegs on his head, Umbreon decided to share her insight with the dog. "I don't get it, don't they know that if he hadn't shot the thing, it would've been our necks instead? I mean yeah, it's a shame to have... In the end, brought the Hydreigon to its death, but.." Houndoom resisted the urge to shake himself loose of the smaller Pokemon for the fun of seeing her get annoyed and just laid down on the ground by Zephyr's feet. "They're not like us, you know. They haven't been exposed to what we've seen and had to get used to. You do know that back before.. Uh, well, before all hell broke loose here.. Battles just went as far as fainting your opponent... Never to kill." He observed the disappointment and slight tinge of loneliness coming from the male Trainer. "The poor guy at least has that Gardevoir and the Togepi, and they don't seem to be keen on abandoning him... So he's got that going for him, which is good. "For the others though... This is probably just the first kill of the ride, I'm sure of it. We probably can't avoid any deaths... Hopefully that won't mean so for our side, but if they don't learn to stand up and, if necessary, kill... Somebody-- hell, a lot of somebodies-- are gonna get hurt. The three of us had to get used to it and it took time... You know that," he said. Umbreon just listened on quietly and nodded her head. Sometimes, Houndoom just surprised her with how he could actually say something smart like that... Not smart, but rather, understanding... Or something like that. It probably wasn't something you'd see or hear from most Dark types, let alone a Pokemon with a nasty reputation for giving burns that inflicted pain for... Well, forever. In silence she rested on his back and looked on. The other Pokemon hadn't really antagonized Zephyr as much as they did Gale-- or at least, that was what she thought-- but... It was a possibility. We're not going to take that lying down, she thought to herself. Whatever happened, they were sticking with Zephyr-- even if the entire pack decided to go against them. Ouch, Zephyr thought, watching the Dewott utterly reject and destroy the Dive Ball-- in effect, she figured, rejecting and somewhat destroying the poor guy's hopes. The dude needed a break... But then again, didn't they all? For sure everyone'd been through their own rough times. And after all, they were probably just some wild Pokemon... Or not, as some of them seemed to have memorabilia of their own. No, they couldn't have been mere wild Pokemon. In one way or another, she could see signs of a Trainer's care and love on them-- even the weird Pangoro, who, maybe, found his Trainer's stuff and decided to wear them in his or her... His, probably, memory. There's just no way she wanted to think about the Hydreigon at this point. A part of her knew that delving into it any deeper wouldn't bring any good, and she had the feeling that she randomly passed out again. Unable to bear her embarrassment for realizing that she'd blacked out again, she slapped a palm to her face in annoyance. Oh, whatever... And as much as she didn't like being open and nice to others nowadays... Some vague part of her remembered that although she wanted to be the cold type of person, she just couldn't help being civil back to those who were decent or even friendly to her. It'd probably do good to keep somebody else from going off the deep end, she guessed, already walking towards whatshisname-- Gale. "Give em some time," she said casually, catching up to him, Houndoom following as he carried Umbreon on his back. "Even Cerberus and Chaos had to get used to me being... A monster." The mad gunslinger girl who wasn't mad at the moment gave a hint of a quirky smile, just barely moving the corner of her lips. A monster. How true. "I mean, well, no. Not really a monster. That might be how they thought of me, but would a monster take any measure to protect his or her comrades, the people they hold dear?" After a while, she added, "Just sayin'. But don't beat yourself up too much over what you did. Or, I reckon, something else will beat you up for it." It really was just a hunch of hers, but there was something about how the Gardevoir carried herself. Oh well. That was enough being nice. It was her turn to address the group, maybe, and she returned to face the gathered Pokemon. "All right, you don't have to follow me. I'm a human, too, with such a scary get-up, sure. But I'm guessing we all ought to get this show on the road, and it's probably better that we at least go the same way for as long as we have to. If anyone wants to go another way, then, cool-- I promise, I won't stop you, and neither will that mister man over there. But, seriously, we really should get going." Nice speech. Much inspire, such moving, so wow. Sure. She just wanted to get a move on, hating to stay in one place for so long. Also, the Boss could send scouts or someone to look for her. She grimaced, remembering that tiny detail, and then shrugged it off. Probably wouldn't even notice me gone. Ojama Yellow
Sark grinned as Yuki joined him. For some reason, he was really starting to get fond of the Froslass. Maybe it was because she saved him. Maybe because of what they went through together. Maybe because she wasn't a weakling, like most other Pokemon he met were. "Glad to have you here, Yuki." He didn't pay a lot of attention to what the guy said, but then he realised that the human was trying to catch one of the Pokemon. He just killed that Hydreigon! Where the hell does he get the damn nerve?! Kenny almost accepted, and Sark wanted to stop him, but Nivia beat him to it. That Dewgong just earned my respect. He looked at the sky which was darkening every minute. "I don't mean to interrupt your little chat, but we should really get moving now." Raindrop Valkyrie
"Aye, we should. Little Umbra is getting restless." he said, the little dragon wriggling in her little harness. "Since we cannot communicate to the human, relay the message to the Lily so she can tell the humans. Otherwise, We are moving out." He said, in a firm voice. He was hoping to give them direction, not necessarily led them, but it may have came off that way. He slammed his now very small walking stick into the ground, as he made an about face, and started to trudge off. He was going slowly and waiting for the others. K_H
"I'd concur with you on the moving along bit, Theo. Let's get away from that Wind that keeps on popping up." and with that, Kenny started walking in the same direction as Theo.
Arkhi
"But don't beat yourself up too much over what you did. Or, I reckon, something else will beat you up for it."Gale looked at Lily. Then looked away."Right.. I suppose walking's our best bet." Our? He had to watch what he was saying. He buttoned up the insides of his coat pockets, tightened his belt, and walked over the Amarantha. He looked at her, then faltered. She had already tried comforting him and saved him before. Gale could trust the Togepi nearly wholly. He reached out his hands, creating a seat for her within his arms. Never again would he make a stupid mistake. That's no way to be remembered, he thought with a grin. Meanwhile, he looked at Lily, who seemed distracted at something. I suppose it's that psychic energy in her, he thought. "Lily! We're moving out." Flux
Blaze walked next to the Dewott as they started to move. He hadn't gotten a good first impression of him from when he attacked Theo, but it was comforting to know that someone was in the same boat he was. He stuck out the leg that had the Everstone encrusted armband. "My trainer gave me this... back before the Rifts appeared. He said it would help me get stronger faster, so we could participate in real battles..." he paused, getting choked up by the memories. "H-he was always nice to me, and always made sure I was happy. We were almost ready to leave and start a journey, to battle gym leaders and win badges, but... then he... he left on the day the rifts opened. I haven't seen him since..." A tear trickled down from his eye. "I keep hoping... that he's still out there somewhere."
DarkLight
Nivia watched as Kenny, Blaze and Theo began walking in the direction of the mountain. She was surprised that Kenny would shut the human boy down just like that. "Well, I definitely didn't see that coming. Good for him; he is finally thinking more clearly and not rushing into things." With that thought, Nivia decided to abandon her already-made ice slide and flopped towards the river. She might as well get a good swim while she still can before the river comes to a dead end somewhere. "And it gives me an opportunity to clean my coat before Arceus-knows-what..." Arkhi
Amarantha crawled into Gale's arms. The cute thing had a way of screwing with his tough personality. Regardless, he loved her. With the Togepi in his arms, he walked the path out of the wreckage. After a few steps, he looked backed, watching the others preparing to move out. Chevaleresse
------------------------------------ As the group travelled up the mountain, they found few signs of life. The ragged trail, strewn with rocks and other debris, showed little signs of use. The dull grays and browns of the landscape were unrelieved except for the odd bush struggling to survive, but even those faded as the altitude increased. Most of the group was unused to this kind of rough travel, and the path to the peak of the mountain was difficult and hazardous, with rockfalls and sheer drops awaiting the unwary. All the while, the ominous wind from before hounded the party, quickening their tired steps. Exhausted by the climb, they were totally unprepared for what they were to encounter next. The peak of the mountain dipped down into a bowl. The wind peaked, nearly blowing the first one to reach the edge of the crater down the side. Once the group made it over the edge, the wind suddenly silenced itself, coming to an end as unnaturally as it had begun. A shape slowly floated down before coming to a rest, hovering slightly over the floor in the center of the crater. It was red and blue, with a crystalline heart. It almost appeared to be human from a distance, but the arm consisting of a pair of tentacles quickly dispelled that illusion. "Greetings, travelers." ----------------------------------------------------------------
Zephyrus the Priestess
Squinting her eyes sleepily, Umbreon, draped on Zephyr's shoulders once more, murmured, "If that's not really a Deoxys talking to us, then I'm dreaming or freakin' high," and went back to sleep. Houndoom looked at the cat/dog/fox/bunny-like Pokemon and shook his head as he stood by Zephyr, protectively as he always did, wondering what the alien-like being wanted to do with them. He waited for his Trainer to respond, and he'd just follow suit. Zephyr was feeling rather grumpy, almost having tripped over nothing, thanks to the pushy wind, as always. It had been a long trek and Arceus, she wanted a damn shower. At least the wind finally stopped. On the other hand, what looked like a humanoid... with tentacle-like appendages... descended from presumably the sky or nothingness, she couldn't really guess which. Not that she really thought that it mattered. Tired and a bit ill-tempered at the moment as she was, she made an attempt to be decent and polite to this Pokemon that could probably rip her apart with its will.. and hopefully, not its tentacles. Eugh. "Hi," she said, monotonously as she usually sounded. "Would you happen to be the being willing us up this mountain?"
Arkhi
Zephyr was the first to speak of the group. Funny how it would be the humans to interact before its own species, but whatever."Would you happen to be the being willing us up this mountain?" she asked. That one had a good, straightforward tone to her voice, as if she took shit from no one. Gale looked down at Togepi, whispering, "If things get hairy, I'm hoping you can save us again," he smiled. Looking at the creature, he spoke: "There's been this ominous wind going on. We have no idea what it is, but, uh... A greeting from the top of this mountain by some djinn like yourself is typically the catalyst for magic and stuff. So, all-knowing being of the mountain, what the hell is going on?" he wore his cocky smile, the hike up here lessening the guilt from before. Ojama Yellow
Sark completely had it now. First the human boy shot that Pokemon, and now that they had a chance, a tiny, little chance, of maybe getting some assistance from a legendary Pokemon, he wasn't even trying to be respectful to the Deoxys. At least the female tried, but this guy didn't even bother. He walked up and spoke to the Deoxys: "Please forgive the irreverence of this human boy. You see, we have had some...problems with him not long ago, but that is irrelevant here. We are led here by an ominous wind. Would you, in your great knowledge, maybe know of a Pokemon that has the power to create this wind, mighty Deoxys?" He knew that he was maybe going a bit too far with his choice of words, but this was a legendary Pokemon. Any help they could get from him would be great. Chevaleresse
"Hi," she said, monotonously as she usually sounded. "Would you happen to be the being willing us up this mountain?" "Indeed," Deoxys replied, rather curtly. "There's been this ominous wind going on. We have no idea what it is, but, uh... A greeting from the top of this mountain by some djinn like yourself is typically the catalyst for magic and stuff. So, all-knowing being of the mountain, what the hell is going on?" "I created the wind to urge those in this area to come to this peak. My master believed he sensed something here of importance and asked that I find more to assist him." "Please forgive the irreverence of this human boy. You see, we have had some...problems with him not long ago, but that is irrelevant here. We are led here by an ominous wind. Would you, in your great knowledge, maybe know of a Pokemon that has the power to create this wind, mighty Deoxys?" "Do not abase yourself like one of these humans. You are not weak and yet cruel as they are. As for this human, I am quite aware of what has occurred on your journey here." Deoxys paused for a moment, waiting to see if there were any more questions.
