Vinny
The only dead gym leaders are Kiki and Corey... too soon? And probably Amaria... And i think i might meet Terra if my calculations are correct...

Vinny
I don't want to talk about Agate City (You probably know why *wink wink*) But let me just tell one thing to everyone: Remember Shade's computers? Well, four people died in there... Corey's death was there - Confirmed Kiki's death was there - Confirmed Amaria's (presumably) future death was there - ? Lin's (presumably) future death was there - ? Think about that people... See ya o/

Deleted User
I didn't mean literally dead. I just meant is she going to ever be relevant in the storyline again. BTW from what I can see, All signs are pointing to Hardy being the next Gym Leader. Aya is there in E12, Aya's mother in E11 says "She ran off with that red hair punk". And if Rock and Fighting are stationed there then fighting has already been done. Also read Aya's bio in the leader line up. Rosesong
I think Anna is the champion, because when you meet her she tells you all about how Laura is in the Elite 4, Noel tries to say something about Anna regarding her position, but she cuts him off.
Chase
Based off of what we know, Anna seems like the best bet. - As Rose above pointed out, Noel tries to tell the player who Anna is after she is finished introducing the other orphans when the player first visits, only to be stifled quickly by his sister in the process. It's almost in the same scene that we find out about Laura being an Elite 4 member, and Noel being a gym leader. Further evidence that would suggest Anna being related to the Champion's title goes as follows. Anna is a Psychic type trainer in the Reborn League. A common trait among Psychic trainers in the games is that of foresight, or being able to predict an event before it happens. The other ability Psychic trainers display is that of telekinesis. The former is the relevant trait here, possibly seeing events such as the protagonist challenging brother Noel, friend Charlotte and possibly sister Laura, a recently relinquished orphan that had aged out of the system. Does the foresight stop there? There's the issue of "glowiness" - or the visual attribute Anna gives to the player after he or she is let into the orphanage that first time. Now, what is physical to Anna may be an abstract representation that is meant to indicate something more concrete. In this case, the protagonist may have a potential "glowing" destiny ahead of them. Why is this unique? Anna is the first character to project a positive light on the protagonist that isn't only referencing a current or recent past event. (other characters, such as Julia and Florinia will acknowledge the help that the player was in their exploits against Team Meteor, but Anna will only mention that the player is "glowy." and will not elaborate why.) Now, what does "glowiness" have to do with being Champion? Let's take a look at a couple of main series titles. RSE character Steven Stone, a champion, is encountered very early on in your Hoenn adventure, and one of the first things out of his mouth, upon merely meeting the protagonist in Granite Cave is about the protagonist potentially becoming Champion. The only thing known about Steven is that he is the Devon Corp. President's son, and the recipient of the letter you were supposed to deliver. Diantha, a champion, is only known to be a movie star upon your initial encounter with her. The interesting words from her lips are those that indicate that for some reason, Diantha would like to participate in a Pokemon battle. This scene takes place in the cafe Soliel. Later on, the player battles two Team Flare grunts in the front of the Team Flare HQ, which happens to be known as the Lysandre Cafe. So, Pokemon Battles happen in cafes.....why didn't Diantha battle the player right then in there, if battling was so important an urge to her? Both Steven and Diantha -forshadowed- the player's destiny. This ties directly in a possibility with Anna forshadowing the "glow" of glory that is being crowned Champion. She is decisively more vague than both main series champion examples, yes, but only because the medium of forshadowing stems from extrasensory forsight as opposed to outward acknowledgement. All of that, coupled with Noel's silencing, leads me to believe that little Anna is the best candidate for the job at THIS point in time.
Cepheus
Holy Helix! That's some kind of analysis there Wing3d_one... And Since we already fought Radomus as a psychic gym-leader and Anny is a Psychic-Trainer... well, either Elite 4 or Champion... And on top of that, I believe that we have to battle FERN right before her/the Champion, after the Elite 4. We beat the Elite 4, we are told that another challanger is right just a bit ahead of us and we have to wait... the doors open, we go in and see Fern defeated by the Champion/Anna. And because Fern is an *insert swear-word here* he doesn't want us to fight for championship and challanges us like: "If I can't be the champion, you won't either!" We defeat him, gain our right to fight the Champion/Anna and... we win... before the eyes of Fern... and the Prediction comes true, where we go into the Hall of Fame before his eyes crushing his dreams! Chase
I don't know where the final battle with Fern will take place, but you further solidified the validity of the theory of Anna being champion by mentioning the third piece of evidence, which happens to be much more concrete and explained in the dialogue than my analysis was. (I like to speculate, and for what it's worth, all I did was throw darts at a board and tried to find the perfect trajectory for the dart to come as close to the target as possible.) Radomus. We know that we will have a gym leader for each Pokemon type here in Reborn, no repeats. Because Radomus was a Psychic gym leader, as you mentioned, Anna can't be an "acting" Psychic gym leader. This leaves her with three possible positions. 1. Anna may be a "reserve" gym leader, a la Aya or Fern. (This is a buzzkill scenario, as the orphanage scene generates quite a buzz for another position.) 2. Anna may also be a member of the Elite Four, and she zipped Noel up for the sake of denying the player knowledge of his opposition too early. 3. Anna may be the Reborn League Champion, which is where all of the evidence tends to lead.
Meruem
So after reading all of these theories I think we can safely come to the conclusion that Anna and Laura are part of the E4. Now who are the other two members? Some of you have already suggested that perhaps the type each E4 member focuses in is related to the 4 mysterious pendants: - Amethyst - Emerald - Ruby - Sapphire This theory seems very plausible since the types/colors Anna and Laura focus in match the Amethyst and Emerald pendants, respectively. This means the other two must focus on fire/fighting and water/ice-types. With that said, here are a few candidates: - Cal and Blake: All we know about these two and the position they hold in the reborn region is that they used to be gym leaders. The most important roles they played so far were Kiki's death (Cal) and adopting (sort of) Heather (Blake). Who knows, maybe they or at least Blake, hold an important position in the league. - Heather/Heather's mom: the only reason why we can consider these two is because they're the ones who initially possess the Ruby ring. All we know about them is that Heather has (and was perhaps given by her mom?) a Salamence. - Ghost Kiki: Make it happen Ame. - Tania: Again, we don't know much about this character but we do know that she gave Amaria the Sapphire pendant, so, yeah... - Victoria: This one is clearly the most stupid guess since she even intended to take on the reborn league, but I still felt like putting her in here since she hasn't done anything in a while. Scene? Wait, there's a new scene? Is that the reason why there's a map of the area under the Grand Hall in the files? (What i meant, is that IG Ame walked down the stairs, and i wanted to know what she does there...) You added a scene for what's down there? In case anyone hasn't seen it yet and is curious... Ame walks down the stairs and there's this detective and the cops and stuff and they're interrogating a Meteor grunt. He refuses to answer any questions and the detective guy sends out a Pokemon (I don't remember which) to torture him. With this, we can conclude that Ame is a top secret agent. Tempest
I still think Lynn is a strong canidate. There's some strong examples in the dialogue of the game and if you look at the hand drawn map of Reborn, there's a large dragon on the peak, potentially because Lynn is the champion and she trains dragons. Unforunetly, I don't have the game in fron of me, so I can't check the dialogue for sure.
Cepheus
Dragons as the "Final Challange" are so over-used in the original games, and they are not as strong as they used to be with all those new Fairy-Types... Maybe Lin was the substitute Gym-Leader for Dragon-Types... now we have Saphira and Heather as potential Leaders... Saphira, and 'the Orphans' seemed to recognize her, but couldn't remember from where... Lin may have founded Team Meteor because she wasn't considered good enough to be the first Leader... (she was/is the Leader of Meteor, or did I get it wrong? Theses scenes are a few weeks old in my head^^) Oh man I love speculations I'm always happy when, after many many many plot-twists, I can say: "I knew it!" or "Wow! I was so completely of! That's what I call story-writing!"
RadiantRegalia
Well Ame said that the only reason she exists in Reborn is because she needed a character to organise the league or something like that and she figured it may as well be her. Her character doesn't battle, so it's highly unlikely that she will be champion unless she's been deceiving us all this time Lin is also hell bent on power and she's too focused on her goal she's striving for using Team Meteor so if she was champion that would make no sense at all. I doubt it's her either. Honestly, from what I've seen so far, I'm expecting the Champion to actually be Fern, because everyone hates him and he's pretty much just Blue except worse. People enjoyed beating Blue when he was Champion, Fern is so arrogant he makes Blue look self-conscious so to see Fern get beat as Champion by none other than yourself would probably be a good end to the game. It'd definitely make sense. It's probably going to be a character we've not even met yet though. There's no way of telling who it will be with things like the path of the Helix down in 7th Street and what have you. I bet Ame doesn't even know who the Champion is right now being perfectly honest here. Edited May 20, 2014 by ShadowPulse

Catilena1890
Hmm, well, given my experience in the pokemon games *and the fact that I totally called Diantha's champ status even before it was confirmed* I'm tempted to say Lin is the champ, but that would be too easy, too obvious. Ame is better than that, she won't take the easy way out. She'll come up with the most convoluted, overly complicated thing possible to throw us for a loop, if for no other reason than to lol at us while we try to wrap our heads around her twisted train of thought. I could also see Taka being champ, or Heather. I will flip every table in Ame's house if Fern becomes champ though. Anyone but him.

Artemesya
I bet Ame doesn't even know who the Champion is right now being perfectly honest here. Ame said she had already wrote the entire story of Reborn, so I'm sure she wouldn't have forgotten such an important thing. El is confirmed as a member of the Elite 4 : before his fight with Cain at the castle, he asks if he knows who he is fighting, and Cain answer :"Yup, I figured it out. You're one of the Elite..." We also know that El promised Bennett a place among the Elite if he kept on following Arceus' orders, so he would have to be at least a high-ranking member of the League to be able to make such promises (or he's just being, you know, a huge *******, which is also possible).
