Your very first Pokemon Team

So the question is what is your very first pokemon team and other pokemon that are special to you such as: your starter, first pokemon you caught (if you even consider that special, at least I do) and the rest of your team. Also how did you end up with them?

My first pokemon game was Crystal and I started playing when I was like 5-6 years old, these aren't my most favourite pokemon but they are special to me as they were my first

My first Team was:

Typloshion (My very first Pokemon Cyndaquil, also the very first Pokemon I trained till Lv 100)

Raticate (When I first got the Pokeballs and learned I could catch Pokemon with them I decided I would catch the next Pokemon I encountered and keep it in my team, that Pokemon was Ratata, the first pokemon I ever caught)

Shiny Ditto (also my first shiny ever, I didn't know what a shiny was but caught it because it sparkled stars so I showed my friends and they were like "whoa" and told me what shinnies were, I then decided to keep it in my team throughout the rest of the game)

Dodrio (When I received Fly I didn't have a flying type in my team so I went bird hunting and ended up with Doduo, and yes I did wondered how it flies if it has no wings)

Machoke (I always thought Machamp was cool with its four arms and everything but didn't know you had to trade it to evolve, so I caught Machop which evolved to Machoke and hoping it would evolve to Machamp....it never did....)

Suicune (First Legendary and was like "cool" so I kept it)

Other pokemon that was in my Team but was replaced eventually:

Ariados (one of the first few Pokemon I caught, stayed with me for the most of the game but was eventually replaced)

Miltank (when I encountered it and remembered how strong Whitney's Miltank was I immediately caught it and put it in my team, it didn't stayed in my Team long though)

Kingler (my surfer until it was replaced by Suicune so yeah it did stayed in my team mostly, I also use his Guillotine whenever I'm faced with a strong opponent)

Sudowoodo (Yes, the Sudowoodo blocking the path. Caught him because I didn't have it but then decided to put it in my team because it put up quite the fight

And that was my first pokemon team ever

EDIT:

Blastoise - I didn't knew what i was doing when i played Red version, but Squirtle was a turtle and i thought it was cool...

Pidgeot - If you played pokemon and didn't knew nothing about it when you first played it, you used Rattata or Pidgey... it's a fact... ^^

Beedrill - Weedle is more common in Red version... They appeared so much that i decided to catch one and use it...

Haunter - The first time i saw Gastly, i loved it... Never turned into a Gengar, and at first i though Haunter was the last evolution of it...

Marowak - Remember the ghost Marowak? I though it looked cool so i caught a Cubone... I knew that Cubone evolved into Marowak because of the boen in the hand ^^

Jolteon - I don't know how i found the Eevee, but the first thing i bought in the Dept. Store was a Thunderstone because of the name... Hey, it was a cool name... I used it not knowing that Eevee had other 2 evolutions...

I'm pretty sure i had some other stuff in the PC, but my my main team had all the HM's on in, there was no HM slave for me...

Ah, good ol' times... My very first game was Ruby, I started it around, hmm, when I was 8? Not quite sure. My team for most of the game was:

Blaziken: My starter. I didn't liek Mudkipz very much at that time, and so Torchic was pretty much my first ever Pokémon. Also my second-ever Pokémon to reach lv 100.

Swellow: She looked fucking badass, and I had to catch it. I remember teaching her Hyper Beam :3. My fourth Pokémon to reach lv 100. She also killed Latios...by critting Peck. Fucking Peck. (And yes she still knew Peck at lv 100. why not )

Machoke: My third primary Pokémon, which soon became my strongest team member. I knew he would get four arms when he would evolve, so I trained him like hell... He was lv 100 before I reached Groudon, and he didn't evolve. Can you imagine? Grinding to lv 100 against Pokémon all between lv 30-45? After that he 1-hit KO'd Groudon, and pretty much swept in the League. He was my first ever lv 100.

Graveler: Caught this guy while derping and Rock Smashing around Mauville City. I don't think I used him much, the highest lv he reached was, I think, 63. He also never evolved.

Tentacruel: The second member of my team that didn't reach lv 100 and a primary HM slave. She was stuck with Surf, Waterfall and Dive. The level she reached was 85.

Rayquaza: The only team member that I caught after the League. Master Ball go. He was my third Pokémon to reach lv 100. Not much else to say about him.

Other Pokémon worth mentioning:

Beautifly and Dustox: I caught both of them as Wurmples in Petalburg Woods, but when they got beaten up pretty badly in the Rustboro Gym, they got boxed.

Zigzagoon: Caught him because he looked cool. He got boxed pretty soon, but hell Pickup.

Pelipper: I remember training a wild Pelipper I caught while Surfing, but I didn't use her much.

Girafarig, Ninetales and a hella amount of Vulpix: The first two Pokémon I used to breed. They made a lot of little Vulpix together. They were also the first Pokémon I used in the Battle Tower, together with a Medicham.

Sharpedo and Wailord: My secondary Water types. Taken out of the box long after the League to train.

Bellossom: I liked this little girl, and spent my only Sun Stone on her, only to accidentally trade her for a Corsola. I remembered Bellossom every day that year.

[Timber Dragon]

Pokeymans Yellow. Hmm...

-Pikachu. In retrospect, I'm surprised how much of a powerhouse it was despite its low stats. You're not even allowed to evolve it to a Raichu, so I'm honestly curious as to how it managed to keep up with the rest of my party.

-Charizard. Because Charizard.

-Pidgeot. Because birdies! And years later I would learn it's a part of a species of Messiah.

-Lapras. Bless its soul I never used it beyond a Surf/Strength HM slave. Talk about wasted potential.

-Dragonite. Because FUCKING DRAGON.

I don't even remember the last one because for all I know, it was another HM slave. Poor thing. It did so much for me, bashing rocks to let me pass and such, and I can't so much as remember its species.

Don't remember everyone for certain, but my E4 team in Yellow was something like:

Pix, Pikachu

Evix, Jolteon (Electric types got X ending names for the first hour or two of gameplay)

Graveler, forgot the name

Erst, Cloyster. One of my friends insisted on replacing my Lapras with a Shellder back when I only cared about levels. Once I figured it out I was kind of upset, until I evolved it and found Spike Cannon

Aero, Aerodactyl (Yeah, lame name. I only had him because I thought fossils were super powerful, and dragons were super powerful, and Aerodactyl was both)

Pie, Butterfree. Second Pokemon I caught, neglected him throughout my run. He was at level 42 when I beat the E4, only there for Sleep Powder really

My very very first team:

Vulcanus the Typhlosion: Very first starter awesome looking fire porkypine my 4 year old mind went like 0O0 GIMME THAT CUTE LITTLE BADASS LOOKING FIREY THING. But then in Dutch it stayed with me until Red when he got beaten preeeetty hard by Red's Blastoise (I didn't knew about typing and stuff so yea) he was my 2nd pokemon to reach lvl 100

The next one shouldn't be a surprise if you know me: Shira the Espeon: So I got that Eevee from Bill grabbed it used her almost all the time no knowing how it evolves and then it evolved into Espeon I was sooo happy that it finally evolved(It was lvl 60 by then) I used her againt Red aswell and she kicked butt killing Pikachu Espeon and Venusaur I named her after the stray cat I raised outside until she died a bit ago and in memory of the little girl she's my Espeon forever now <3

Sudowoodo: What can I say. I like trees and it was in my way I used it until Lance cause Rock Slide was OP.

The Red Gyarados called: Poepie: YUP MY 4 YEAR OLD MIND CALLED IT THAT CAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS CUTE I used her all the way too uuuntil my sis deleted my save file cause I burned her barbie dolls...

Doodoo the Dragonite: Not much to say except:

(Apart from the anti Salamence thing)

Last one: The ultimate and terrifying: PIDGEY.. Yup you heard it PIDGEY level 88 beating dat Blue with sand attack and Fly

(Honorable mentions... 1st team was in Silver btw)

Lugia the very 2nd legendary pokemon I ever caught

Suicune the very 1st legendary I ever caught

Dishonorable mentions:

Rocky the Onix: Never should have done that trade he couldn't even handle the Miltank

next game Pokemon Ruby:

I was more mature and learned better english and began with my interests in other stuff then soccer(I liked soccer back then and took a lot of balls to the crotch and stomach when I look back it's poor little Wendel :C)

Poseidon the Swampert: Starter and shit beat Nijntje with it a weird person with a 88 Groudon and 96 Zangoose who appeared in a hidden base out of nowhere

If someone didn't saw this one coming I want you to leave >:C

Chibi the Salamence: Cause you know... CHIBEH if you don't know why Chibi you're not my friend >:C

Swellow: Got lazy with naming and took a little bird who turned out to become a bigger bird I actually liked.

Ninetales: It's a 9-tailed fox with fire attacks... nuff said

Beautifly: I liked bugs a lot more back then than I do now :I

Manectric: It's an electric wolf with a pointy head!!!!!!!!!! HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE THAT.
