This is a mod that adds crests and does some minor pkmn changes, this started as a personal mod but i felt like sharing it, due to wanting actual feedback on the crests. Originally i wanted to release it with more art, a character for the seller, crests and some other things, but life got busy and overwhelming so i'm releasing it as is, and maybe adding those later.

 

You may find the crest seller inside most Pokémon Centers, they are available at all times, but at a high price, which i thought would be enough to balance them(most likely doesn't).

 

Inside the files there's a text file detailing all the information about the crests.

 

Feel free to leave any kind of messages, specially Bug Reports, with all the steps you took to cause it so i may fix them.

Update 10/22: New Crests(Ambipom, Aurorus, Dunsparce, Grumpig, Minior, Sigilyph(U/A), Tyrantrum).

Reworked Carnivine Crest

Changes:

Masquerain[Water Absorb->Aqua Ring]

Stunfisk(G)[Crunch now picks between Steel and changed type]

Kecleon[First move matches terrain type]

 

To install, just merge/replace the original Rejuvenation files, it should work just fine.

I noticed while testing out the Trevenant crest that the forest field aspect of the crest doesn't seem to do anything? There's an animation that happens when Trevenant enters the field but that's it. No moves are boosted and when I read the crest description I made the assumption that the forest field would actually pop up. Am I not understanding what the crest is supposed to do lol or is it bugged?

I'm sorry for the late response, it's been a busy day, I made Trevenant's crest in the same vein as the Surge abilities, with the main field and an (custom made) Overlay weaker field, just press S and check on your game to know if they are working, the effects are there, it's just that the game doesn't show the boosted moves until you use them. I'm sorry if the txt file didn't make it clear.

Thanks for going out of your way to make a video about the crests, i really appreciate that, but it seems like the link to the vid just opens the mod page again

Hey, in your mod I noticed that you managed to make some pokemon uses a move on switch in (like the noble roar on pyroar). Could you tell me on what script file did you made the modification to make it work ? I created some personal crests for my playthrough and i wanted to do something like that, but i couldn't manage to see where to do it

Sorry for the long wait time for a reply, I didn't create any specific script files for it. I went on Battler.rb and put(You can check it for yourself, it's in the Script files i put in them mod):

if self.crested == :[pkmn's name, without brackets] && onactive
      pbUseMoveSimple(:[Move's Name, without brackets], -1, [Target] I put:{self.pbOppositeOpposing.index})
end

I hope I'm not too late- But goddd it would be a dream if Clawitzer had a crest as well! I even had ideas about one, mainly to make Clawitzer's Water Pulse do 2x instead of the usual mega launcher boost- 

 

And maybe something that either makes it bulkier, or faster. Either way these are some nice picks.

Never too late, the mod's just in hiatus/being very slowly developed now since i've gotten significantly busier with life. But given enough time it'll get updated, with Clawitzer's maybe getting something someday. If anything, look forward for when Rejuv gets updated so the mod will properly revive.
