dudeguyman
There are two Fairy-types you get from a certain someone in Rejuv: Mawile, and Sylveon. Mawile doesn't really need help to be viable, well, at least Mega Mawile and its 678 Attack doesn't, Sylveon definitely could. Sure, it could get a copy-paste of the Sinnoh Eeveelitions crests, which just swap a couple of weaknessess for resistances, which makes sense: they're primarily held back by being slow mons with a terrible defensive typing, but that's not the case for Sylveon, and such a copy-paste would leave it with no weakness, an immunity, and 5 resistances. Instead, something way more interesting can be done with the Sylveon Crest: give it Misty Surge. Hyper Voice gets STAB from Pixilate, the 1.5x Pixilate boost from the terrain, and the 1.5x boosts that all Fairy moves get on the Misty Terrain, it hits with an insane 303 base bower. This concept can be applied to all the eevelutions to make a series crests: Flareon gets Drought, Joteon Electric Surge, etc. That leaves only Umbron, since there's no Dark-type weather/terrain, its crest, instead could allow it to clear the weather and terrain on switch in, which is in character with it being a Dark-type and a notoriously defensive mon. Enatsyrte
I missed your crest idea. You should add the tags "fanwork" and "crests". It can be a good idea, but I would add another effect with the "Misty Surge" ability of the crest : an HP recovery like the Leftovers. Some eveelitions are pretty defensive such as Sylveon, Umbreon, or even Vaporeon. So for them it could be a cool idea too. And they only have Wish and Rest (2 of them have Moonlight) as healing tools. Since Sylveon will use the Misty Terrain offensively, so giving it a defensive aspect would complete its style. I think secondary effects of the crest should change for each Eeveelition style. At least, it would be cooler than just giving them resistances. And Sylveon Crest could be find in the Zorrialyn Labyrinth. In the B3 segment, the room A is empty. In the story, you receive mummy's Sylveon and just after you could go find the crest to make it better.
dudeguyman
I'm not too sure giving a bonus ability to the crests is a great idea: weather/terrain setting abilities are busted enough that otherwise mediocre pokemon become competitive staples, here you're just investing the item instead of the ability. Plus, Misty Terrain already has its defensive effects: prevents status conditions, raises Sp. Def by 1.5, and protects allies from Dragon-type moves, and, while slow, Wish is boosted by the terrain. I also see a world where people would run Draining Kiss: 112 effective BP from Sylveon under Misty Terrain is still nothing to scoff at. Sure, this crest favors the wallbreaker playstyle over the bulky support one, but, on the flip side, after STAB, boosted Pixilate, and Misty Terrain, Hyper Voice gets a 3.3x multiplier (imagine we get Tera in v14, with Tera Fairy would have a 4.5x multiplier, the opponent can have double resistance and still gets boosted damage), Sylveon simply doesn't need any other offensive move (yes, you could run Mystic Fire, but it doesn't need it), and it gets it without any choice lock, so the other 3 slots can all be support moves and you're not missing out on anything. The Umbreon crest could appreciate the extra oomph: shutting down the opponent's terrain and weather isn't as good as setting up your own, and this crest doesn't do anything unless your opponent has those set up. Having an additional leftover effects is warranted. For the other Eeveelutions, it's a bit harder: they don't have a busted terrain-ability combo like Sylveon does, but the crest still does something no matter what, unlike Umbreon. Enatsyrte
Eh nope. The x1.5 boost in special defense does not exist for the overlay. I checked in game. For having this effect, you would need to clear the previous and then set up the terrain. Plus, even if Sylveon has a huge potential for wallbreaking, it's still easy to cheap damage it and destroy it with Steel type attacks. At least consider giving leftovers effect to Sylveon for the opportunity to give secondary effect to the crests for other eeveelutions. Other eeveelutions like Flareon or Glaceon would need it. For Flareon, it would be cool to give it the opportunity to activate Guts without losing too much HP. I don't if it's possible to give it the Burn Status without the HP loss. It still could be played with special attacks, but Foul Play would deal less damage to Flareon. And obviously, it would have a Physical Attack investment to deal huge damage with Flare Blitz. It will take recoil damage through.
