Gligar's an interesting Pokemon. As it stands now, to me, he's a slightly less powerful version of Gen 4 Gliscor. The trade-off however, is the miraculous item: Eviolite, which gives Gligar 508 defense with this spread. Then you just slap on a slight variation of a moveset that Gliscor used in 4th gen and you have yourself a nice big wall. Admittedly, this set works better in UU because.. you have Gliscor in OU. And even though gligar has quite a bit more defense than its evolution, it doesn't get the amazing gift of Poison Heal, which is practically Gliscor's main selling point as it is. Still, in UU, Gligar and Chansey can create what could be called the Skarm/Bliss of 5th Gen UU, and shouldn't be overlooked~
