derekwst3
I had a idea for a challenge similar to the nuzlocks and monotypes. This one is a little weird, but I think reborn would be a good choice. Your able to catch any pokemon, you can put no doubles rule if you want. Once you beat the a gym leader, you are not allowed to use that type until after you collected all badges. if the game only has eight gyms you could keep the rule until the end (example: once you obtain the electric badge, no more electric pokemon) It would increase the challenge the farther you get. you could make a exception with the secoundary types if your not brave enough to go head on. Would anyone want to try this type of Challenge? Any other challenges you could think of that would be semi fun/difficult? Vinny
So let me see if i got it right: For example, if i beat Julia, i can't use electric types for the rest of the game... Is that what you mean? Cuz if yes... DAMN... That on Reborn would be hell... I might give a try on this... If i find time, that is...
derekwst3
yeah that's the concept, I think it will be hard for late in the game, but might be fun
Shamitako
This actually sounds quite fun. It'd be very hard to accomplish, but worth a try. I might do it on one of the official games sometime...
Ojama Yellow
Welp. Welp. WELP. THIS THING IS GOING TO MAKE ME NO-LIFE FOR 4 MONTHS AGAIN.
ClairaWBn
I like the idea. It really forces the player to think about which Pokemon they should train. It also gives them plenty of time to build up a well balanced team early on, while leaving a nice challenge by the end. I might have to give this a shot later... Deleted User
Are we talking primary typing only or either type, Say if a pokemon has a secondary type of grass, would it be unusable after Florinia, or only if the first type is that? Omega_Ra1der
my guess is the first type only.
derekwst3
the duel typing would be your call depending on how confident you are with your abilities, the secoundary typing would increase the difficulty allot.
Timber Dragon
That actually sounds pretty cool. It might be something rather only try on the official games, though. To me, Reborn's hard enough as it is--do I really wanna make it even harder?
Shamitako
^This And yeah, whether you count both typings or only one is up to you. If it's Reborn, you might be in trouble doing both. But it shouldn't be to hard in the mainstream games
