Maelstrom
Mael's Favorite Lead Ever Aerodactyl (F) @ Focus Sash Trait: Pressure EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd Hardy Nature - Stone Edge - Stealth Rock - Taunt - Ice Fang Taunt is a page I took from someone (Will?) that really screws up other leads. No stealth rock/spike/leech seed/sub bullshit for you! Stone Edge as totally awesome STAB high crit chance move that will hurt anything it hits. Stealth rock is worth suiciding this lead for, who makes excellent use of its focus sash as necessary. Ice fang does double duty screwing over dragons as well as a certain flying grass staller. With it's amazing speed and attack, it has proven worth it MANY times to save it after a sash-save to come back in later and sweep with just 1 hp left. Bullet
[Roflcopter] [Aerodactyl] (M/F) @ [Leftovers] Trait: [Pressure] EVs: [76 HP, 180 Defense, 252 Speed] [Nature] Jolly - Roar - Whirlwind - Sleep Talk - Rest [Totally lol, totally hilarious, and it flies, so it must be a roflcopter. Phazing in its purest form, with two such moves to accomplish such, combined with ResTalk do give priority to your phazing. Thanks to sleep counter resetting when you switch, you can switch it out, then back in to fast-phaze more. Problems can occur when you need to get a Rest off, but you just reset your sleep counter, and when you get Rest from Sleep Talk. Try not to use this outside of Sandstorm, or people will tear through his weak Special Defense.] EDIT: ROFL Mael ninja'd me for first set? N8theGr8
Aerosmith Aerodactyl @ Choice Band Trait: Rock Head/Pressure EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Speed / 4 HP Jolly Nature - Stone Edge - Earthquake - Crunch/Fire Fang/Double-Edge - Crunch/Fire Fang/Double-Edge Haha, because Aerosmith is a band, and this set uses a Choice Band, and...yeah, I didn't think it was funny either. Anyway, StoneQuake is obvious; fantastic coverage and hits many things HARD. The last two moves are entirely of preference; you can hit Psychics and Ghosts, Ferrothorn, or just have an all-around solid move? Other moves are possible in the last two slots; just putting in possibilities.
Noivy
Lead Speed Thing Aerodactyl (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Rock Head EVs: 156 HP / 108 Atk / 244 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Stealth Rock - Rock Slide/Stone Edge - Roost - Dragon Claw/Fire Fang Aerodactyl hits hard and is mindblowingly fast for a Roct type. This means that Rock Slide can be [s]abused for hax[/s] used for a a chance of flinch. Stealth rocks are a must, seeing that this thing has the speed to move faster than some of the more common speed leads. Dragon Claw or Fire Fange for type coverage
Noivy
Mega Rock Bird Thing Aerodactyl (M) @ Aerodactylite Trait: Rock Head EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Iron Head - Ice Fang (preferred over other fangs for coverage against dragon, Fire fang is also viable) - Sky Drop/Crunch/Aqua Tail/Earthquake - Stone Edge Mega Aerodactyl is faster than hell, and can hit like a truck when it's given a chance. It's move pool with access to the three elemental fangs, and gets some benefit from gen 5 tutor moves. But unfortunately, this thing is rendered hopefully obsolete in OU competition because Bullet Punch exists, and it lacks the defenses to tank any hits what so ever. Another con is that it only gets two moves that have STAB Contact, Fly, and Sky Drop. Sky Drop is a one trick move, and requires knowledge on what to use it against because it fails if the targets are above a weight limit. (something around 400 pounds if I remember correctly)
Chevaleresse
Wing Attack is a contact move iirc, and is far more reliable than Sky Drop.
