What if: Absurd Theories

What the title already said, I wanted to make a place to present and discuss YOUR theories on everything in the world of Pokémon. Doesn't matter what and there mustn't be any evidence, just theories! Feel free too write down your thoughts, as absurd and strange they are!

I begin.

WHAT IF .. Mega Evolutions are a result of radiation? Say, the Mega-Stones are leftovers of a nuclear catastrophy? (There are theories on a recent war in the Kalos region, google it maybe)

And some Pokémon can "connect" with that radioactivity and can mutate when there are several factors given (Radioactive source, another kind of radiation coming from the thing on your arm and the mutated DNA of the specific Pokémon. Thus I don't know how it would be possible that they mutate only for a short time ..

That would also clarify why the symbol for the Mega-Evolution (Mega-Mutation) looks like a piece of DNA

What if...
Pokemon ate meat? Like, fish meat. Because we know from one episode of the anime that there are "normal" animals in the Pokemon world. An all-berry diet seems nigh impossible. And while, yes, there are other foods, there might not be a surefire way to get immediate protein besides the item itself.
*Cue Egoraptor's Pokeawesome Tauros meat comment*

The image is from one of the episodes in the first season when team rocket were starting to starve to death and all they had was a magicarp, but when they tried to eat it, it turned out that it's scales were harder than Iron

Eevee's Red/Blue Pokedex:

Its genetic code is irregular. It may mutate if it is exposed to radiation from element stones.

Just saying... Might help your theory, maybe Mega evolution is temporary due to the radiation being weaker/artificial...

Anyway, leading into my theory.

What if Eevee were the first that were able to evolve from non-leveling up (b/c that's obviously just aging), and all other pokemon gained their ability from Eevee (cross-breeding/Darwinian evolution/some other reason) since they are very rare (Only 1 in each game prior to Gen IV, and only rare/very rare encounter rates in Gen IV onwards), possibly alluding to their age, and they can evolve in almost every single way (Evolutionary Stone/Friendship/Time-Dependent/Move-Dependent/Area-Dependent).

I read something interesting earlier on Memebase that does hold some truth.
Deoxys is the DNA Pokemon. It is made up of the elements of DNA, so that includes the sugar phosphate, which holds it together. Therefore, it could be induced that the phosphate is like blood to Deoxys, so it would flow through its body. If you took a bite out of Deoxys, you would taste sugar.

Alright everyone knows about the notorious Missingno. We know you can get it in first generation games and that it has the capabilities of duplicating items and corrupting save data on the game. What if this "Glitch" was snuck into the game underneath the noses of the developers at Nintendo in an attempt to sabotage gamefreaks profits on pokemon? Think about it, what if an ex-programmer at gamefreak or just a jealous programmer decided to put this into the game? It has the capability of corrupting save data files, so there is a definite thing there. Plus it enables the duplication of items which is a major game-breaking cheat.
