6P5- An Eggcellent Addition

Egg moves! I had put them off because I wasn't sure that Serebii's discovering plan had fully hatched, but since it's been an eggstra long time since 6th Gen came out, I think it's time to get buttered up and do this.

Now, like the other moves, this may not be over easy, but if we work together I'm confident we can poach this out. Here's how this should pan out:

In this document you'll find our listing of Pokemon stuff

When you get into the yolk of it, you'll notice that 1st-5th gen Pokemon all have an EggMoves= line after their Moves= lines-- but 6th gen is missing it.

So for each Pokemon

First, if it's a sixth gen Pokemon, copy the EggMoves line into its proper place. Then, edit the line to update the moves. Each line looks like this.

Each move, as you can see, should be comma-separated and ALLCAPSNOSPACES.

Take farm-fresh egg moves from a site like Serebii for accuracy and maximum taste

In order to eggstrapolate the process, I'll keep a recipe list of each Pokemon below. Then when we crack into each one, report it in this topic and I'll cross it off.

Alright, I can *attempt* to do 650 (Chespin) through 685 (Slurpuff). That's 35 out of the 70 new Pokemon (not counting Diancie and the other "DLC" Pokes).

I should mention that I will be getting all of my information from Serebii and double-checking with Bulbapedia.

Um...Ark? You don't have to give evolved Pokémon Egg moves...because they can't hatch from Eggs. Just sayin'.

Edit: since Ark will do until number 685, I'll go from 686 to 718.

The Pokémon from 688-718 that weren't in this list, don't have Egg moves. Also, I noticed that on Serebii, Rock Polish is in Tyrunt's Eggset, and Thief in Klefki's, while they weren't in Bulbapedia. I put them in the list, since I think Serebii is more trustworthy.

I included them, because the document shows egg moves for evolved forms, so I would carry the tradition

I made a document in which all the EggMoves of the Gen VI Pokémon, which were posted by me and Ark, are in. It's basically the document that Ame posted above, but with the Egg moves of the Gen VI Pokémon in. I corrected the error I made with LOCK-ON and changed it to LOCKON, and Ark, just saying in case you want to help with the other Egg moves, the move is called Camouflage and not Camoflage. Not trying to be a jerk here. I changed it in the document.

Right, I misspelled Camouflage. Thank you for catching that.

And if you're improving something or fixing a mistake, don't apologize for it. You're helping me, Ame, and the breeding community.

Just wanted to make sure, lol. Also, I may have not enough time to help with the other Pokémon, since my parents are about to punish me. If I will be able help though, I will do that.

Firstly, I am sorry for that. But, as a stranger, that is all I should say.

Secondly, don't worry about going out of your way to help out. These projects take time. Only if you have no obligatory assignments at hand should you

help out unless Ame is paying us.

I dunno why you guys can't edit that document in the first post; the settings say it should be writeable... But if others can edit the second document posted then we'll go with that. I'll mark 6th get off the list.

I still found time to help after all, and now I'm busy with all the Gen V Pokémon. I'm at Dwebble atm.

Edit: Just wanted to start with Foongus, and Serebii went down. Without Serebii I can't continue, so it may take some more time. This documents lists all the Gen V Pokémon up until Foongus. Notice that Foongus doesn't have Egg moves. What I do, is delete the previous Egg moves, and put the new in. That way I'm sure I didn't miss any.

I'll see about getting to Gen 3 Today. I herald from Hoenn, so no one else gets it.

Edit: Going to run a few errands now. I stopped at Taillow. Only 110 more to go. Thankfully Wurmple gets no egg moves, so that's 5 done instantly.
