Zen
Standard Swift Swim qwilfish on my teams. Qwilfish (M) @ Black Sludge Trait: Swift Swim EVs: 255 Atk / 76 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Waterfall - Poison Jab - Explosion - Destiny Bond In rain, that's fast enough to pull Destiny Bond on most targets. High attack makes it damn near impossible to survive any of its STAB attacks if they're super effective, barring obscenely high defenses or nullifying abilities. Mashew
QwilTank [quote]Qwilfish (M) @ Black Sludge Trait: Intimidate EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Toxic Spikes - Waterfall - Spikes - Haze [/quote] This Qwilfish is more for physical bulk tank stuffs. Intimidate can cut the opponents attack down one which can give you the chance to set up Toxic Spikes and regular Spikes. Haze is for any poke that uses dragon dance or swords dance etc. etc. Waterfall is so you can attack if taunted.
Bullet
[quote name='Zen' timestamp='1318008546' post='19650'] Standard Swift Swim qwilfish on my teams. [Anti-Lead] [Qwilfish] (M/F) @ [Focus Sash] Trait: [Intimidate] EVs: [252 Atk/252 Speed/4 HP] [Nature] Jolly - Spikes - Taunt - Toxic Spikes/Aqua Jet/Waterfall/Destiny Bond - Toxic Spikes/Aqua Jet/Waterfall/Destiny Bond [Qwilfish has primarily been used as a rain sweeper, however, it actually has a nice set of moves that can be used as a lead. Spikes are a rare, but extremely powerful hazard which Qwilfish gains access to, it i sone of the focuses of the set. Taunt is an exceptional move for a lead, shutting down opposing set up moves. Afterwards, there are a few options. If you're scared of a faster Taunt, you have offensive moves; Waterfall is stronger but Aqua Jet is priority. Both are fine for offensive options. Toxic Spikes is another potent hazards; however one Poison Pokemon can destroy your hard work. If you're running a stall-heavy team, it is well worth the risk however. Finally, Destiny Bond is a decent move in conujnction with your sash; however it relies on the element of surprise. Of course, you can also play mind games if you use it, but are not KOed that turn. Of course, Destiny Bond is fairly mediocre against faster leads. The EVs are simple, Maximum speed, and we don't really need bulk, so attack is fine. Though you can run the set with no attacking moves, I heavily recommend you use one.] anyways
Phazer
SuicideBombr (M) @ Choice Band Trait: Swift Swim EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Waterfall/ Aqua jet - Poison Jab - Explosion - Bounce Mr. Icovermywholeteamcuzbulkandpower here is your #1 resort for killing off anything that will hurt your rain team. Waterfall for main stab and Poison Jab for your secondary. Bounce for coverage, and Explosion to make your opponent mad because you just killled there +2 Dragonite. Shgo
Qwilfish (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Swift Swim EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Destiny Bond / Taunt - Waterfall - Poison Jab / Substitute Water/Poison has surprisingly good coverage o.o Max Atk and Max Spd with adamant since jolly is EXTREMELY redundant with Swift Swim. Swords Dance can turn your revenge kill into a sweep with the right prediction. Depending on the set you can also find a few opportunities to set up on certain walls. If you're running Taunt with Substitute you can set up on Tentacruel and Ferro without Power Whip at the cost of being walled by Pokemon with Water Absorb. Anyone who has something to say about this can take a +6 adamant Waterfall to the dome. Destiny Bond is kind of a last resort revenge kill but it gets the job done so it's worth some consideration. Hope you all enjoy the physical Kingdra c:
