Swords Dance
Scizor (M) @ Life Orb / Leftovers / Expert Belt
Trait: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Brick Break / Superpower
- Bug Bite / Roost

This set allows Scizor to set up and sweep teams. If you can get at least one Swords Dance up, there are not a lot of things that will like taking yours moves. Bullet Punch is the signature move of Scizor as Technican and STAB boost it to 90 Base Power, with the added bonus of it being priority. Brick Break is preferred over Superpower as after a Swords Dance it can easily OHKO many things. Superpower gives that added power you need to take out bulky Pokemon that can take Brick Break, but it negates your Swords Dance and lowers your Defense, leaving you vulnerable. The last slot determines if you want to be more offensive or defensive. Bug Bite gets a boost from Technician to make it as powerful as Bullet Punch, but then STAB pushes it over the edge making it have 135 Base Power. Roost on the other hand allows Scizor to stay in longer, either damaging more Pokemon or getting up more Swords Dances. Quick Attack could also be used to get priority on Pokemon that resist Bullet Punch, like Gyarados. Life Orb boosts the already deadly attacks from Swords Dance, but Leftovers can help Scizor live longer. Expert Belt is a less used option if you don't like the idea of recoil damage from Life Orb. As this set is meant to sweep, its best to scout out the opposing team and take out anything that might impede Scizor.

[Dancin' Techni-Scizor]
Scizor (M/F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Brick Break
- U-turn/Bug Bite
- Bullet Punch

A slight alteration of Knight's set which I've been using on Scizor for quite a while now. This Scizor may be slow, but it'll be able to take hits better with its 344 HP. 394 Attack with Life Orb and if you can get a Swords Dance, its a beast. Bullet Punch and Bug Bite gets STAB and Technician, when boosted by Life Orb and +2 Swords Dance, you'll be killing anything you see. U-turn can be considered in dangerous situations and you don't want Scizor to die. Brick Break takes down Steel types and can break through screens if your opponent has them up.

CB Scizor
Scizor @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Speed
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-Turn
- Pursuit
- Superpower

The ultimate standard Scizor that still works well, to say the least. Technician priority STAB off of over 500 Attack is awesome. Having a STAB scouting move is awesome. Being able to trap things with Pursuit is, once again, awesome. With Scizor's great bulk and typing, switching in shouldn't be an issue either. The #1 menace to this set is Heatran, as it 4x resists Bullet Punch and doesn't fear U-Turn or Pursuit either. And that's not even mentioning the 4x super effective STAB it always carries. If you're good enough to predict a Heatran switch-in, Superpower it and 1HKO. However, that requires a lot of good prediction and U-Turn is usually the better option to switch to something better suited against Heatran. The 248 HP is a good number to take less from Stealth Rock, which although less common, still is a regular factor of the 5th Gen metagame. The last 8 EVs can be moved from Speed to Def/SpDef if you so choose.

Spiked Falcon Pawnching Wall w/ Detachable Turrents
Scizor @ Rugged Helmet
Trait: Technician
EVs: 255 Def 255 sp Def
(the one that gives +def/-Sp Attack) Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Roost
- Swords Dance
- Baton Pass

One thing I am known for is being a sneaky bastard... this is one of my most (not well known) tricks, dude we have a ninja mantis with the ability to be a wall with mad defences, so lets abuse it!
I usually use Leftovers with most walls, but why use leftovers when you got Roost? So i equip my Scizor with a Rugged Helm, Nothing is funnier than watching a n00b (or careless not paying attention person) punching a wall that hurts you back with out actually hitting your opponent XD
Also, when you have mad defences why the hell would I wanna put EVs into attack? Sword Dance is way more useful than attack EVs I think, and on top of that! Baton Pass, Scizor is also an interesting baton passer, cause most baton passers pass before an opponent strikes, But since Scizor is slow, he can cushion the blow!
only problem with the set is you only have room for ONE attack, but on the bright side, if you can't kill your opponent effectively with bullet punch, let them kill themselves, or give your +4/+6 attack to something that CAN kill the opponent! for example, i give it to Kabutops and Ramphardos XD Ramphardos with 1881 attack power? YES PLEASE!!! XD

Guest Mafia
SP.def Scizors
Scizor (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Technician
EVs: 240 HP / 16 Atk / 252 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite/U-turn
- Swords Dance
- Roost

Useful for switching in on draco metier and setting up a SD this set can also take down Reu.After a SD your attack goes strait to 600 which will hit anything not resisting bullet punch hard.Bug bite is for a more reliable bug move and U-turn is for those who fear magnezone.

Reviving this because of Gen 6 and the new mechanics. Sorry if it's out of place.

Defoger / Defensive Pivot

Scizor (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Atk / 216 Def
Adamant Nature
- Defog
- Superpower / Brick Break
- Roost / Bug Bite
- Bullet Punch

This is a new set I made thanks to Defog's new mechanics Scizor can now be a decent defoger for entry hazards. The advantage of this set is that it cannot be poisoned so it can mess with pokemon that use Toxic as a means to effect status like Gliscor. Notice the EVs. This is the exact same spread pattern as the Bulky Swords Dance set from Gen 5 except the stats have been moved to Defense. This is to avoid being 2HKO'd by Salamence/Dragonite/Garchomp from a +1 Outrage or Earthquake. The move set other than Defog is for insurance as Bullet Punch can be used to keep Fairies in check. Superpower is more of a coverage move but be wary of the stat drops while using it. If this is unappealing then you can use Brick Break. The last slot is up to personal preference. Roost is recommended over Bug Bite as most Psychic types aren't very bulky defensively in OU and could fall to a Bullet Punch. Bug bite can be used to keep Dark types like M-Absol in check but you already have a Fighting type move in your slot. It is not recommended but it can be used as a substitute again if Superpower's drops are bad for your team.

Wow... that noob moveset I made wayback when XD
Here is my gen 6 Mega Scizor set...

Scizor @Scizorite
Adament 252 atk 252 def 4 spdef
Bullet Punch
Pursuit
Swords Dance
Roost

Scizor is a poweful mega due to it's powerful Bullet Punch. Nothing feels better than Pawnching that annoying Fairy in the faic!
Pursuit to deal with pesky ghosts, namely Aigislash, it also kicks the opponent in the balls when you punish them switching, plus that technician STAB boost
Swords dance is Self Explanatory
Roost is amazing on this thing! You will be surprised how often this move will come through for you

My only precaution is have a good pokemon to switch into that can resist or absorb fire... I personally prefer Typhlosion or Chandulure...

Also surprised no one posted my gen 5 set here...

Fuck You Chandulure!

Scizor@ Shed Shell
Adament
252 atk 252 def 4 sp def
Bullet Punch
Bug Bite
Roost
Swords Dance

Only major difference in this set compared to the others above is its's held item...
Shed Shell
Shed shell is kinda useless now in gen 6, I am alittle more willing to share this secret, Shed Shell allows you to switch out despite what moves your opponent is using, ie. Chandotag with Flamethrower/Overheat/Fire Blast/Heat Wave, ect...
However chandy is nerfed now... so no need to run this set anymore

Bug of Aegis, No Fucks Given

Scizor (F) @ Scizorite

Trait: Technician

EVs: 244 HP / 12 Atk / 252 Def

Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)

- Counter / Swords Dance

- Defog

- Steel Wing / Bullet Punch / Bug Bite

- Roost

One day, a Scizor saw one of his kin lose brutally. The young green Scizor in the hands of an amateur could only watch as Lucario mega evolved and brutally crippled the poor insect warrior with but a single Close Combat. He then had enough of Lucario and Kangaskhan mega evolving into dominant forces that threatened the entire Pokemon universe, not to mention his kin. But the balance of power was slow, and Scizor grew impatient of waiting for the Lucarionite's inevitable banishment to Ubers. He journeyed out for a solution.

He came across the junior trainer Epic C, who proposed a solution: use the ancient Scizorite not to further the fighting prowess that his kin had become renowned for, but for protecting the ones he cared for. Epic C told him that he had the power to Defog away the hazards that would hurt his unsuspecting friends, while Roosting to strengthen himself and maintain his 140 base Defense he had put in so much effort to bolster.

Another trainer down the road showed him the Counter technique, which allowed him to deter the greatest threats to his existence. But he felt incomplete. Without the offensive prowess that his kind were known for, he was bound to be a laughingstock. The young trainer told him the attacking technique depends on the trainer's preferences and the Pokemon around him.

And so, the Scizor set out with a newfound purpose: to defend the righteous. As he overheard a trainer whisper "it's a physical-heavy metagame", a smirk came over his face as the Bug-types' new stalwart defender was ready to take the Pokemon world by storm as he had done so many years ago.

Roostizor

Scizor @ Leftovers

Trait: Technician

EV's: 252 Def, 252 Att, 4 HP

Impish (+ Def, - SpA) or Adamant ( + Att, - SpA)

- Roost

- Swords Dance

- Bullet Punch

- Bug Bite

When your opponent has no Fire type moves anymore, this guy is almost unstoppable. If the irritating Chansey is trying to Toxic you again, it is this guy's chance to step in and set up. Roostizor can heal himself thanks to Roost, and his Technician powers up Bullet Punch and Bug Bite even more. Note: if your opponent has Charizard/Talonflame/Chandelure/Heatran or other Fire types still at his possession, Roostizor can't do a thing against them. It helps to have a bulky Water- or Rock type Pokémon in your team for them, like Rotom-W.
