I'm just throwing it out there....

But how would everyone feel about a Japanese foreign Civil War much later on?

That sounds sweet. Would we be participants or would it just sort of be happening in the background for us?

Both, Actually.

It's already in the background, no one knows of it exept those fighting in it currently. But there will come a time when America is called upon by an old ally to turn the tide...

  • 2 weeks later...

This is a resurrection post.

all we need now is for Maddie to post

as the first parts of your examination, there shall be a series of battles to determine how much everyone has bonded to their partners in the SIX freaking monthes of training that the group under went. but before that, You'll be given a device which will be very useful...

anyway...

Here's a rough layout of the scheduling...

  1. Lars Kaiser VS Nathan Grey
  2. Jory Robertson VS Sid Maelstrom
  3. Clint Cannon VS Erick Freeman
  4. Lionel Carter VS Enyo Greyjoy
  5. Logan Walker VS Kenneth Holmes

Winning the match does not really matter. what does matter, however, is teamwork.

Afterwards.... No more Spoilers right now.

You know enough to fight with decent strategy this time around, unlike in the clearing battles.

in other words, you know what would not be best to match up your partner against.

(Some weaknesses are obvious, like water trumps fire. As for dragon... that may be a bit complicated to find out... Maybe nathan thinks that Bagon has no vulnerabilities?)

EDIT: You two can begin by the way...

So we won't gain levels if we win?

Erm...

Yeah... levels will be gained like normal from these matches.

But story wise, victory or lose doesn't change the outcome.

It's like what Bibarel said.

What matter's is how well you work together with your partners

and @ typhlosion:

I already addressed the concept of movepools, but yes, Egg moves will be usable...

IF they are not to OP for the pokemon's stage of development.

In other words, you can use them, but I don't want to see something like a level five fire type using a full-fledge Flamethrower attack when it hasn't even learned how to spit embers out of it's mouth first.

Woah. Didn't see that coming.

It's been edited.

I remembered a certain promise I made to someone. Don't bother prying, because that's all I'll say on this particular matter.

TM moves are allowed, right? At least if they make sense for our GAOs to know at this point?

no Tm's for the most part. as I said before, they won't be invented for a long time.

Though almost every move the TMs teach can be learned naturally by at least one species of Pokemon... so If you can justify your partner having that move learned at this stage... I'll let it pass. and no psychic for any one except Oak's Clemont at this point.

PS. This is just great.... now I can't get onto the IC thread...

Is it justified being able to know Telekinesis then? It is stated here after all:

(Yes, I still have this book from my childhood.)

As well as this entry from the anime:

Pokédex entries Episode Pokémon Source Entry EP022 Abra Ash's Pokédex Abra, a Psychic Power Pokémon. It sleeps eighteen hours a day, but employs telekinesis even while sleeping.

And this entry from Pokemon Sapphire:

Abra needs to sleep for eighteen hours a day. If it doesn't, this Pokémon loses its ability to use telekinetic powers. If it is attacked, Abra escapes using Teleport while it is still sleeping.

alright flux. You make a valid argument for it.

Abra is justified to know the move Telekinesis.

and I'm gonna start raisin some serious hell if I can't even reacquire access to my own RP IC thread soon... becuase God damnit, that is as ridiculous as it is infuriating...

Woohoo! It can attack! (Kind of)

Also, yeah, the forums are pretty wonky right now. I've been able to get in and out of certain threads, seemingly closing and opening at random. I did manage to get in the IC thread a few times though. The "As Gods Sleep" OOC thread has been the only one I haven't managed to get into yet.

Anyways, Who wants to hear a prophecy for the War?

hey, you should raise the alarm, seeing as some of us are still unable to get onto said page. (Yeah, i'm getting a Driver Error. The Forums are still quite buggy.)

Also, I'd love to hear that prophecy.
