Sutoratosu
Alright everyone, the site's been down as the Gator War's conclusion took a few days, but here's our prophecy: Cue the Music! (Consider the following forecasting) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sS5Xo-XGvc Let us begin with our prophecy: A city twice assaulted and once re-arisen shall burn in a fire of a thousand hues. A man hailing from the Head of a Buck rides upon the back of a star of fury and light. With men bearing the five golden stars upon the earth. flaunting their might. The flames blaze bright till the stroke of midnight. A man bearing a head of gold and scarlet discovers the Power of the Sky. A team he leads into the fray, wielding the results of global disaster to attempt to win the day. A fierce soul upon the back of a star of shadows and chaos rides To war with the man of the Buck-Head, to see who dies. A war rages in the sky in which many on the ground must die. An Anvil of smoke and light from the west shall approach. Upon a man with Fury in his heart it shall encroach. A war on the ground a being born of static shall pursue. With those of lead rain and of a vital bane A battle monitored from afar. At wars end there shall be a fallen star. Of light or of shadow it can not be said. But for the latter to be true, a great empire shall be dead. now, if we can get these fights finished in a timely manner... actually, I might just have the general stop them at certain points to declare his evaluation and move on to the next fight. Any objections to this? Edited May 31, 2014 by Stratos
K_H
Fine by me. Let's get the Plot Moving! Oh, and I was planning on Adding an Oshawott and, coincidentally, an Emolga onto my team once we can Capture Gen V pokemon.
Sutoratosu
well, sorry bout cutting it short, but you know it's time to move onto the next chapter when you see your IC thread is nearly twenty pages long. anywho... Ojama Yellow
You guys finished that battle so quickly that Ethic didn't even had a chance to interrupt it. Holy Jesus.
K_H
Is it OK if i found a Moon Shard while in training? i'd like to have my Eevee Evolve in my Battle with Logan.
Ojama Yellow
K_H, I don't think that is already allowed. Umbreon is way too OP for now. Also, Ethic states that Stone evolutions will only come later on in the story. I have already a Dusk Stone, but it's going to be a long time until I will use it. Sutoratosu
Hmm... you know what Kenny? Ima have to Veto this till later on in the story. like Bibarel said above Tell you what though, I'll let you do that once Eevee hits lv32, and not a second before. K_H
OK, then. i'll wait. [EDIT]: Also, Ryu'll evolve at the exact same time that Eve does. Edited June 2, 2014 by K_H
Ragnar
You guys finished that battle so quickly that Ethic didn't even had a chance to interrupt it. Holy Jesus. lol.. well i think we're holding up the line for the other matches. ..and its all part of my plan to get a dragon scale from horsea. @Ethic: so we're finding items now huh? can i have a dragon scale from my horsea? lets just say later in the story i find out that my horsea was holding an item. Sutoratosu
yeah, i guess you all have started to find various items around the base and forest in the past few months... You can have horsea find the scale it self at the bottom of a river or something... but later on, we've got to get these things done with.
Supernovae
I want that Steelix so I can lay the beat down on your Ralts and Beldum though!
Sutoratosu
Just a heads up, Supernovae... as we all know, Beldum has an incredibly Shitty moveset (With only take-down as it's known move, and is doesn't have rockhead... so recoil everytime) so I've looked at it and here's a few moves I've justified for it to know also: Thundershock -Beldum has been said to levitate itself using electro-magnetic waves. Electro-magnetism and Electricity are pretty much hand in hand, so I figure that messing around with various waves that a small Electric shock can be produced. Metal Claw: as we can all see at the bottom of this picture, Beldum has three claws at the bottom of it's body, and it's a steel type... so... I honestly don't know why the hell it can't learn this move naturally already... I'm just gonna chalk it up to Game Freak and their flawed logic when it comes to what some things can learn... anyways, about that steelix... ain't nobody, and I mean NOBODY gettin that there type of power so early on... you can find the metal coat for now... but... You ain't got anyone to trade with... (Or maybe I'll just steal the link stone idea and have that be a way to evolve...) K_H
The reason you cannot have the Steelix at this point in time is the same reason i can't have an Eeveelution until my Eevee reaches level 32 or higher: IT'S TOO OP! Speaking of Items, is it OK for a GAO to be holding multiple Items if all but one of said Items that seem like they're supposed to be worn to take effect, or is that a No-Go? Supernovae
Just kidding about the steelix guys, I wasn't thinking of doing that until Pimparella started being underpowered. But, yeah don't worry about complaints with the moveset, as long as Beldum doesn't start using hyper beam and psyshock I'm pretty cool with whatever you do. Sutoratosu
well no worry there... unlike some RP host on here... Actually... forget I even started that sentence above... As for the specialties, don't worry about them any more, I've decided that Everyone's been getting Special Forces Training for the past six months... now that that's out of the way... there'll be another case of espionage and high treason soon... also, Supernovae... a bit of Trivia: Onix has a magnet in it's brain... there's been several Electro magnetic waves spinning around rapidly above ground... Supernovae
Did not catch that before my post, Stratos, but I've been waiting to pull that off ever since I had this character in mind. However, I'll play with that idea once Onix fully resurfaces.
Sutoratosu
no need for that, let's just get this over with and start the next match... Chapter 2 awaits
Chevaleresse
Eurgh. I'm starting to regret wanting all of these pseudo-legendaries. They're annoying sometimes because they take so goddamn long to evolve. Also, are you expecting a reply from me atm?
Sutoratosu
Nope. You know Murdoc... You can always give up the claim on them. this goes for all claims by the way. anyone may chose to forfeit their claim on a GAO if they no longer want it on their team. but claims can't be forfeited after it's caught, so think about what you want before your character actually gets it in their party. (Not that we're catching anything right now, but just for future reference) Edited June 3, 2014 by Stratos
Sutoratosu
next up... well, ya'll know who you are... EDIT: welll... looks like I'll have to either track down Maddie or temporarily take control of Enyo... EDIT 2: Nevermind, let us get on with this. K_H
@Ethic, is TM28 (Dig) allowed to be used (when the GAO in question is unable to learn it through Leveling up or as an Egg move) for this RP? your answer to this question is going to determine part of my Eevee and Riolu's Moveset. here's the link: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Dig_(move) while we're at it, is TM45 (Attract) allowed? just asking. (I'm not going to say whether or not one of my GAOs might have it in their moveset, just in case anyone else reads this spoiler! it's just for future reference as far as anyone else knows. here's the page link: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Attract_(move) ) One more question: which Generations are Items (except for than Mega Evolution-related Items, since they're obviously not allowed because of the "no Mega Evolutions allowed" rule) allowed from?
Sutoratosu
i will say it once more: no TMS. they don't exist yet. but all the moves taught by TMs can be learned naturally by at least one species. if you can justify your partner knowing that move, then you can use it, once it passes with my approval (only TM moves need to be approved prior, but I will speak up if I think that a move isn't justified) it's justified for Eevee to know dig, but not really for riolu. no attract at this point, because it just draws out battles, and we need to finish these. items from up to Gen 5 are allowed. now, to everyone, do not make me repeat myself a third time when it comes to the TM rule... K_H
OK, then, my Moveset and Itemset are finished. i'll keep them a secret, though.
Ojama Yellow
Itemset? What. Oh btw, I just introduced Buddy's ability...it is Own Tempo. I thought it would be legit for me to (ab)use it.
Sutoratosu
OK, then, my Moveset and Itemset are finished. i'll keep them a secret, though. Actually... I probably should've specified this earlier, but... Kenny, you can only have your partners find items that would make sense. like finding a grass stone out in the Bexly forest somewhere, or finding a water stone on the shore of a lake, or finding a Big Root in the woods, etc... In other words, K_H, I'm going to have to ask you to change Riolu's and Eevee's found objects to things that actually makes sense, as there is really no likely way you'd find something like a Black belt, or a scarf made out of silk, on a U.S. military base, or in a dense forest... That, and the fact that you'd have an unfair advantage other pretty much everyone at this point, as no one else has items that boost the power of STAB moves for their partners types... So, yeah... change the item set to something more reasonable. Edited June 4, 2014 by Stratos
