Flux
^if you brought something down in defeat during the battle, you can claim half the levels that would be gained from that tier of intensity, but you'd have to actually win in order to get the full level increase provided. (Not that anyone's match went past tier 1) So still no... QQ They will never gain levels... What about the Abra part though?

Sutoratosu
protocal prohibits them from interacting with Cadets any more than is necessary for them to, like in the case of Clint trying to leave for Echo1 or his current situation outside the Guard shack... Not that they don't give a shit specifically persay, but most of them have GAOs of their own and aren't exactly phased by them... that and the fact that the soldiers on guard duty along the wall have the funny habit of prioritizing what occurs immediately outside the Bases borders over anything happening on base... I don't know where they got that habit though....maybe they learned to be alert when there's a bunch of super-powered animals on the prawl in the local forest? Also, just a notice: The Profiles of characters in the OP have been cleaned up and edited to better reflect how they've manifested in the story as well as provide some light on the background for some of them. Sutoratosu
Alright, I've been thinking about how fast I this thing should go... and I've decided... It's gonna be a long story, so might as well slow down a little to make sure it gets told right without having to go back. good things take time after all. Ergo, I have decided to split the plot up into "Arcs" (Yes, like an anime) Here's what I have so far Arc 1: Training (Current) Arc 2: The Asian Theater Arc 3: The Archipelago Intervention Arc 4: Epilogue I've decided to stop being such a hustling Nazi about getting this thing on with and feel it's better to just let it develop at it's own pacing. what this means for right now is this, We likely will not get into the War in this chapter, but in the next one instead. as for whats happening right now, let me just say this: The temperature dropped fast, Didn't it? and the snow came from nowhere, did it not? I had it bright and sunny when you are were taking the first the first part of the evaluation... It was humid... the soil was dry and dusty... the strange Creature inside the base... the storm picking up... What does it all mean? guess you all will find out... Sutoratosu
Why thank you, Supernovae... You just gave me an idea as to how to escalate this whole thing... Edit: To clarify real quick, the things attacking are members from the Vanilluxe evolutionary line... along with a few other little nasties you all can't even see yet... it's a bit funny in a way... a military base being attacked by... ice cream cone- looking creatures... ahem... moving on... for those wondering ATPAL is pretty much Fort Bexly's equivalent of DEFCON the acronym stands for... Sutoratosu
meanwhile I have no clue how those guns work well, it's fairly simple step 1: check to see that it's loaded (Which all four of the Rifles are) Step 2: Pop the safety into the "Off" position Step 3: Aim using the sight/scope Step 4: Open fire or die in a freezing hell or do you want the actual science of how they work? and that's pretty much the basic procedure to firing the guns you four have been given.... As for Matt... I mean, Joseph Perchenkov, the best spy in Russian history, he will be getting his soon... his time in this world ended with the war on terror... his continued existence is a profanity to the laws of nature... and with the losses from this battle (Which they will be substantial, trust me on this), who knows who will still be able bodied enough to be assigned to go hunt the guy down? K_H
I'd like it if i could at least help out. perhaps once the battle is over, someone could tell my OC about the sensing abilities of the Riolu/Lucario line. (Hint hint, my OC hasn't been told about it because the need never surfaced.) also, is it OK if my OC gives the other Cadets some info on what they can do to help out? Sutoratosu
right now just focus on firing... Ray and the General and Surge will arrive soon as for the aura thing, I was originally gonna have Corporal Niles use his Mightyena to do the tracking, but that could work as well... for a while we'll talk more about it once a certain giant bird is out of the picture. K_H
OK, then. I'll simply have my OC focus on helping beat away the waves of enemy GAOs for now. [EDIT]: Bibarel, we've moved from the "Beat 'em away" stage of defending Ft. Bexly to the "Boss Battle" stage of the Defending the Fort. (The Battle against Articuno has begun.) Sutoratosu
He's right, Bibarel... the wave is over for now... alright folks, its a bit sudden, but we've entered into a boss battle... so yeah for that... you all... what your up against... it can freeze a person to death just by willing it to happen... don't you bastards die on me... :Kappa: Anyway, there'll be another wave showing up in a bit... and they'll keep popping up until few defenders are left... (GAO wise) here's the basic structure of how boss battles work in this RP Engage and defeat initial attackers Appearance of boss GAO brief engagement with boss arrival of reinforcements arrival of even more reinforcements second brief engagement with boss engage and defeat secondary waves final confrontation with boss either death of boss or fleeing of boss Don't expect me to always stick to this though... have to give a bit of surprise every now and again... You all win this thing, and you'll be rewarded with instant graduation... but your actions now must reflect your worthiness... in other words, the Evaluation is cancelled... this is now your evaluation... all the stuff you would've been tested for... you'll need it now. and one last thing... don't go thinking that they're only gonna concentrate on the main gate... you all may have to split up to join the defense at other ports of entry (There's a shit ton more soldiers on that base then those at the front entrance right now... they got a little... Occupied by this very situation...) Edited June 13, 2014 by Stratos

Supernovae
You know I don't think Strat is all about the one move per post thing like how the pokemon games work. I'm pretty sure, that if he feels like it he could have that Articuno reign down ice beams, sheer colds, and hurricanes during his next post. K_H
However, since you mentioned it, i think he'll do the unexpected and act on it. Sutoratosu
Oh... don't start fighting each other, people... That thing... it's fled and is now using Roost in the Atrium. Follow Surge's orders, and hunt that thing down and kill it. you have approimately thirty minutes before it has fully healed (Those were heavy injuries from the fire blast) the General will accompany you... and Erick, if I can get him to wake up... now, where the hell did Flux and Murdoc and Maddie go? Do not fail me... That mother fucker has killed to many NPCs for one day... and as RP host, this infuriates me... my characters are my children... and as my father before once said: "Don't fuck with my children" also, @ super You are absolutely right, I say "Screw off" to that battle mechanic of one move per post... damn it, if I want my bosses to go firing off insanely sick and cruel combos, I'll do it! :Kappa: Edited June 14, 2014 by Stratos

Sutoratosu
I was gonna ask you, actually... well, we can just have it so that he was heading over to assist in the defense of the front gate, when McCarthy ordered the soldiers around him to hold the side entry ways... you can have him follow behind McCarthy right now as he approaches Surge and the others... As for Lars and Enyo... guess they'll get the same explanation... oh well... as long as it makes sense... Edit: OH...oh my... I'm terribly sorry about that Murdoc... seems I somehow overlooked Nathan's presence... I'll go back and edit him in to take care of that... but Lars and Enyo still get the fate of holding the side entries Edit 2: Allright, he's been inserted where he should've been... again, very sorry about messing up like that... you can write up what he did from the time after being handed the rifle to where we are now in your next post Edited June 14, 2014 by Stratos
