So I went ahead and captured the balloon and defeated the bugs to save the kid - but when I went to the pokecenter and talked to the mother of the kid , nothing happens? She just repeated her lines, I haven't played for seven years. Did the event change or add anything else??

 

I have beaten Forinia and the second PULSE by the way 

EDIT - Nvm I opened Lapis Ward and found them lmao
