Potential for a version for a 3ds

Currently, at this moment in time, there are not any emulators for the 3ds, nor are there really any tools to use for hacking a copy of X or Y. I was wondering however, would there be any interest for one? I don't have the ability or knowledge to do it myself, and you'd have to ask Ame if she'd even be okay with moving the story away from the standalone. I personally would think such a thing would be pretty cool to do.

I think we are very far away from having it as a 3DS mod or even a DS mod... iirc I don't think there is an easy way to convert an RPG maker game into a rom

I know you wouldnt be able to convert it, I was mainly thinking about just remaking it.

Not fully possible. If I remember correctly about ROM hacking, there will be too many maps and certainly too many Pokemon to fit in the game's data slots. Unless someone is very good and can add data or reassign it, I'm not sure there's much you can do.

Having to compress a game like Reborn into a NDS/3DS game/rom is beyond possible as of now.

Unless someone would be able to re-create maps used in Reborn and somehow implement them in B/W2 or even X/Y, I don't see this happening anytime soon.

there is a way to play it on the go, that being on joiplay

but that's a mobile thing, not ds/3ds, and most phones over 2 weeks old will kinda struggle with the rebornverse games

in theory, i think it would be possible to entirely recreate reborn for the 3ds (give or take online play), but you'd be 3 years, a little over a year, and a little under 2 months late for that

yes, that's 3 different time periods some core 3ds thing was discontinued, i'm just waiting for them to recall every 3ds at this point
