Noivy
Special Scarf Samurott (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Shell Armor EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Scald - Ice Beam - Grass Knot - Air Slash Samurott is not that used, and for rather good reasons. But It has a pretty decent move pool. Scarf gives it speed to go first, and use a move directed among the type of your opponet.
Phazer
Special Sweeper Samurott (F) @ Choice Scarf/ Life Orb Trait: Shell Armor EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Air Slash - Ice Beam - Hidden Power [Ground] - Hydro Pump/Surf One of my favorite pokes and has a decent move pool, and since Samurott has Air Slash I can give it HP Ground to handle all it's weaknesses. Hydro Pump for main stab or Surf for better accuracy and doubles/triples. Ice Beam to kill off Dragon threats.
Yuki
Samurott (M) @ Focus Sash Trait: Torrent EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature - Swords Dance - Aqua Jet - X-Scissor - Night Slash Set up a swords dance, allowing your sash to save you, giving you +2 attack and activating Torrent! Aqua jet is now VERY VERY powerful, even moreso in rain. If you're confident you can outspeed your opponent, you have X-Scissor and Night Slash for coverage. If you don't have a spinner, you shouldn't use this set! (Also Samurott looks so cool, dude. Dat stache.
Shanco
Sammy The Samurott Samurott (M) @ Focus Sash Trait: Torrent EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Aqua Jet - Megahorn - Superpower - Swords Dance The set I ran on Samurott in Black 2 barring EVs and Nature. Your run of the mill Swords Dance set, meant to revenge kill rather than switch in and bludgeon. Aqua Jet is the staple of the set, as it is STAB and gets a boost from Torrent, the ability of choice as Samurott doesn't need protection from critical hits here. The other moves are meant to slaughter walls. Grass types like Meganium will bow before Megahorn; this attack also deals serious damage to Dual Screen setters. Superpower destroys things like Empoleon, Ferrothorn, and the like, and also snaps Magnet Pull Magnezone in two. FIX IT UP!: Replace the Focus Sash with a Life Orb and change the nature to Jolly to make a better revenge killer of sand teams. Almost every common sand commodity (barring Rotom-W, Garchomp, and one or two others) is weak to one of Samurott's moves; Tyranitar, in fact, is weak to all three of them. Try out Samurott for weather control; you might like the surprising rewards you can reap.
