Recommendations for Weather Teams vs Elite Four

Not to rain on your parade (...pun not intended), please consider that at least part of the Champion battles are fought on New World where any weather will fail.

Edit:

That being said, I'm a fan of Hail teams, because it allows you to also put up Aurora Veil, which also boosts your defense. Mega Abomasnow and Alolan Ninetails set up Hail upon switch-in + both learn Aurora Veil. Just keep something in your team that'll be able to deal with Ground attacks - it's something I've learnt on my latest run, lol. For some reason someone always had something that knew Earthquake and that's no bueno when you realize your team consists of 5 Ground weaknesses (and only 1 neutral :$)

Thank you for that advice I didn't consider the new world field effect. I do have an Alolan Ninetails and use Aurora Veil too! I understand now that any weather team wouldn't have issues beating the E4 and the champion Lin 1st fight but for her second fight I see she fights in the new world so I wouldn't be able to win most likely due to no weather for a weather team. Is there any workaround? or perhaps just ditch the idea of the weather team all together.

Hmmm...maybe having something to counter Lin's second fight(s)? Not to toot my own horn, but I'm a HUGE fan of just toxic'ing everything. Toxapex + Toxic Spikes to set up and then just keeping at least one member of your team alive with Potions/Revives. This probably counts as "cheesing it", but hey, it worked just fine (...talking from recent experience, tbh). And to poison everything flying/levitating: Toxapex can also learn Toxic. Maybe a Focus Sash if you're on Anna Route, just to make absolutely sure you'll poison the puppy in the room.

I do like that idea to bring a mon to counter her second fight but for my run specifically I cant use potions/revives but Id still like to try your option. I saw honchkrow can bring down most of her team in a yt video. I also heard the move gravity can negate the new world terrain for 5 turns total (4 if you count setting up the move).
