Chevaleresse
I think it's gonna be easier if we start without knowing each other. As Murdoc said there's some rumor going on around his character, mine may have heard his name, but only that. What you think Murdoc? I think it'd be more interesting if we didn't know one another. By the way, do you want to know what's up with my character now, or find out later.
Raindrop Valkyrie
Me or them? Cause if me you can just shoot me a pm, I would like to know what it is, but you are definitely allowed to keep it under-wraps from the other players.
Raindrop Valkyrie
Aquawind you still alive out there? We are almost done with the character intros and you are the last one. I don't feel like waiting too long cause I want to gt to the meat of the story. I will give you to the end of Tomorrow (or April 15th.) to reply otherwise I will be dropping your character, which is pretty easy currently as they haven't been intro'd yet. Not trying to be a jerk, I just need to keep the ball rolling and don't have the time to wait around too long.
Jory
btw Hukuna you know that the Drunken Clam is the name of the bar Peter and his friends frequent in Family Guy, right?
Notus
Hukuna, can I go talk with Murdoc's character or it's better to wait for the last intro?
Raindrop Valkyrie
Go ahead. just know your convo could get cut short (let's just say something crazy is about to happen after the Intros.)
Notus
Roger that, now you've made me curious... In this case I think whatever happens will get me mid way to Murdoc's table. Edited April 14, 2014 by Notus

Until then feel free to talk to anybody else.
Chim
So I was wondering if a character who manipulates an element, like wind, has a (dis)advantage over another element user? Edited April 15, 2014 by Chimchain
Raindrop Valkyrie
Not really. The only things are Wind isn't very good at attacking since it is a gaseous element, but it is probably the best support, being able to speed up a user's movements(Attacks and overall movements), blow particles in the air to obscure enemy vision, stop projectiles in mid-air by slowing them down. It can push enemies, which is the only truly offensive force, along with whipping up tornadoes, but those take significantly more time. In Short, Wind isn't like per-say super good on one element, and neither are any of the others. Each has it own strengths and weaknesses (like Wind is super good at support type magic, while bad at Offensive types, though it is still possible to use some offensive forms of it. Earth on the other hand is very good at protective spells and creating objects, It also has a bit of a weakness on the Offensive side as you have to physically use the objects you create to attack. While this means Earth kinda has an advantage over Wind, their other skills more than make up for it, so the fighters will still be on even footing.) Raindrop Valkyrie
oh Fire is Hyper Offense, hard to do much else with Fire. Water is also Offensive, however it has a lot of zoning power, and Crowd Control Presence. Water actually has the most versatile (Especially once they reach the Super Status where they get Ice added to their arsenal. This is because Water Templars act the most like Mages, as their Order emphasizes it, which is wh theirs is much more versatile, though not as powerful as the others.) Chim
Ok thanks. For some reason if it's about elements I assume it's Pokémon standards with being super effective and all...
Notus
On that topic, would it be possible for a Wind user to boost an Fire attack from an ally? Like blowing the flames to make them stronger?
Raindrop Valkyrie
Well logically that would put out the Flames if you weren't careful, and maybe blow them around, but it won't do more damage. SO you could combo them, but it would just spread them around more, not cause them to be more effective.
Raindrop Valkyrie
Oh and after today, I will be moving along the story if Aqua doesn't post. Pretty sure I said this already, but just want to make sure you guys know, get ready for some insanity.
Jory
Flux, you seem to have misread a few things:1) Dirt and sand came from under the door of the tavern 2) Drug'thok finished his ale already. That spell won't really do much.

Well hopefully I don't get horribly disfigured and have to kill you at some point, cause that would suck......a lot.
Chevaleresse
Fire can be used defensively, just like how wind can be offensive. You can surround yourself with fire or create barriers of solid flames, burn down arrows as they fly at you, and such. I should mention that's sort of Xavier's fighting style; he charges in and surrounds himself with fire, lets fire fly out of his blade as he swings it, and that sort of things. Very reckless and berserker-ish.
Zephyrus the Priestess
So according to wikipedia rangers can use throwing knives too... and have skill in dual-wielding... lol nah I don't want to make Helzebeth too OP, that's not cool or fair at all
Raindrop Valkyrie
and yea Murdoc, I never said you couldn't use Fire defensively, it works, it just isn't as good at Defense as Earth. (And the reason I said it is Offensive, is because even a shield of fire can still be used to attack someone. And also Murdoc that is how I sort of intended Cinder Knights to be, Pyron is not only the God of Fire but the god of Passion. They just have a Passion for beating the snot out of dudes, kinda like Berserkers in their own way. (They even have that special trance that they get later once they become more powerful, similar to a berserker, though not as powerful as the Battle Trance a Berserker has. Basically they are Berserkers with magic, but they take a bit of a hit to their offensive side on the Physical Fighting side, but make up for it with lots of pretty Fire effects.) Zephyrus the Priestess
Would Helzebeth be allowed to have dual-wielding(even just with knives or short swords) and knife-throwing skills? Well, not right away of course, if it's allowed, probably with more practices and training in, I suppose... And are crossbows really just limited to Mountaineers? Aqua Severwill
Oh, sorry about that. I was dealing with a few things on my end. I don't mind waiting a for an intro, I'll just keep up with the story until then
