Sorry for the double posting guys, just to call some attention.

Ok, new episode and new areas to EV train! I already updated the Tanzan Cove and Secret Spring surfing areas and will do ther new ones as soon as... well, as soon as I find were their data is.

Aand on top of that, we've got some new toys: Power Items! They are at the Dept. Store, 4th floor, and will help a lot with the training, specially the ever hard to find Sp.Attack. They are not cheap though, so start saving you money!

On the bad side, the EV reducing berries are not in the 4th floor anymore, and I couldn't find them yet. So if someone knows were they are now, please shoot me a pm or post in here!

Happy training everyone!

Do you want some help with this? I'm sure there's someone I could ask. Or you could ask. I don't mind really.

Look, there's a part of me that says it'll be good to get it updated, but this is Notus' guide, not yours. He already has the info necessary to update this, so when he finds the time to do it I'm sure it'll get updated. If he asks you for help then that's a different matter. I understand you're not trying to take over his guide, but it still needs to be said, and Notus isn't really the kind of guy to say it.

I've just seen hostile reactions towards outside help on an individual's project before (here on reborn) so it's always better to ask before you act.

I'm not trying to tell you not to help, it's quite clear that you're eager to help in whatever capacity possible around here. I'm just making sure that you respect the fact that this is Notus' guide, and that it's his choice whether to update it or not. If you want to help him out then by all means send him a PM and I'm sure he'd be more than happy to take you up on the offer.

Oh hey... Sorry about the huge delay guys, I indeed am way behind schedule with this. I worked on it a bit this last days though, so I'm making an update in a few minutes. As for the current discussion: I really don't get it because the original post was deleted, but I always welcome help. As Sheep said though, it is best to call me by PM beforehand, because it's easier for me to see it this way if nothing else.

The issue with that is that Unowns give both 1 Attack and Special Attack EVs. So for those who need only Special Attack EVs, they would have to waste money on EV-Reducing Berries. If you want Special Attack EVs, try killing Slugmas and Numels at Pyrous Mountain, Magnemites at the Power Plant, or Surf on the water at Citrine Mountain.

Or you can just do whatever, progress through the game until you get to whatever EV-training spot you want/need, then breed whatever team-member you wanna EV-train to get a new one and raise it from scratch.

Will they ever add a speed up buttton i wanna make my EV training go faster

You could use the cheat engine speed hack.. It's really useful while training.. Also try using the EV training Items..

That reminds me.. Is the pokerus available in the game??

I didn't encourage them to cheat using it.. Speeding up the game is fine I believe.. And it only messes your save file if you cheat since that is where you mess with the codes of the game.. Speeding up doesn't mess with data and has never really done a thing to my game.. and that is 3 different save files..

Actually if the game is speed up with CE while you save the game it can cause corruption. It is not that common, that is why you had no problems with it, but it can happen. One of the developers said that.

Ahh.. I see.. I know of a whole bunch of people who use it and haven't really heard the speed hack causing problems before.. I guess it's time to move onto the other speed thingy..

Hello there people, I know this is out of the blue but I just wanted to comment on one thing. As I've read through the forums the fastest way to grind speed EV's is considered walking into the shadows at the railnet (woobats). I experimented a bit myself and I believe the fastest method is staying on the opal side of the railnet and grinding there since it is only nobiats (uncommon stunky) but the encounter rate is kind of slow so I came up with this. Using Sweet Scent Teddiursa to force encounters seems much faster to me and why teddiursa? Pickup. I believe it is mentioned somewhere in the thread that using a pickup team (I believe the pickup army thread belongs to Khayoz) alongside EV training is a great idea, and using sweet scent makes you check your pokemon everytime (which sounds slow but it is still faster than wild encounters) allows you to maximize your pickup efficiency.
That's it, I just wanted to contribute what I've been using, gladly apperciate if you point out my mistakes.

I still believe that the shadows are faster, but I'll be the first to admit that I never really used Sweet Scent. Only in that one patch of grass.

Hey, if it is faster than the shadows, we can put the info there. After Sheep does the thing.

I have to test the Sweet Scent method though~

In episode 15 the shadows now vanish after the 1st encounter and you have to re-enter the room to refresh them. So I think the Sweet Swent method might indeed be faster!
