Lead
Mew @ Focus Sash
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SpAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Volt Switch
- Flamethrower
- Aura Sphere (optional, replace if you want)

Kay, so.. description for this set. I really don't know, other than Volt Switch can be used for scouting, and if you're up against a lead that could take Mew down easily, the Focus Sash helps you get a Nasty Plot off for Flamethrower or whatever else. Aura Sphere isn't really needed, it can be replaced with anything seeing as how Mew can learn every move practically. Flamethrower does cover Steel leads, however.. even though I rarely see them and it's usually Metagross, if anything.

DON'T LET THIS SET UP
Mew @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 108 Def / 108 SpDef / 40 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SpAtk)
- Barrier
- Amnesia
- Hone Claws
- Baton Pass

If you can get this set up, it's game over for your opponent, especially if you have a physical sweeper on the team alongside this. Barrier gives +2 Def with each use, so if you can manage two Barriers, you're set. Amnesia does the same, except with Sp. Def, so if you can also manage to get two of those off - you're set. Hone Claws gives you +1 to Attack and Accuracy with each use, so by the time you've used it three times, you have +3 Accuracy. The HP EVs set Mew's hp at 401, Lapras' base at level 100 un-ev'd. The Def and Sp. Def EVs help when it comes to defenses, so you can set your Baton Pass up. The Speed... is just leftover EVs.

EVs: [252 Speed, 252 Sp.atk, 6 HP]
[Timid] Nature
- Nasty Plot

this is a description...? especially on a Pokemon with as many move options as mew, this just doesn't cut it. You might as well move that "description" into the name and it'll be the same? this is also a general mini-rant towards your other posts, one sentence usually doesn't account for a Description.

Mew @ (No Item)
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Take Down
- Softboiled

The Gen 1 jack of all trades. This set is surprisingly viable. SD to boost your pretty decent attack. Earthquake gets pretty decent coverage, and give you a way of hitting Gengar. Take Down is there solely for the fact that it's the next best thing Mew gets. Softboiled helps you heal off the damage taken from Take Down.

Mew @ (No Item)
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Psychic
- Softboiled

Aye wey. WallMew is pretty damn good. Sub and Toxic for stalololololololololing. Psychic is Mew's main STAB, and best way of dealing damage, and Softboiled is there to heal off damage from subbing. Sorry this description is short, but the set is basically self-explanatory.

BPasser

Mew @ Leftovers

Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 Def / 124 SDef / 132 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Baton Pass
- Ice Beam
- Rock Polish

Alright, pretty simple, you want to take out a team with a special attacker, yet it's special attack isn't high enough to OHKO your foe's team. Simply apply Rock Polish first because you wan't to be able to pass if Mew is taking too much damage from the start, set up CM as much as you want and pass it onto your sweeper. Rock Polish is so that you don't scarf your sweeper because that would be pretty stupid to have a 1000+ speed Chandy locked on with flamethrower against a Swampert.

BP

Mew @ Lefties
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Swords Dance / Nasty Plot
- Taunt
- Rock Polish / Substitute

Do a lot of set ups and BP to a sweeper. Boom, very self-explanatory

Mew @ Choice Scarf / Leftovers / Life Orb / Salac Berry
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Def / 156 SAtk / 60 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Transform
- Psychic
- Heal Bell
- Softboiled

Exactly as it looks. The idea behind running Transform on Mew is because a) it's rare, so no one sees it coming; b) it takes your opponent's set-ups and throws them right back in their face. Heal Bell allows a weakened Mew to support its team before it goes down. Softboiled can save Mew when placed in front of the right attack. Psychic is for when you get unfortunately Taunted, or when you have an opponent that you want to finish off.

All right, how do you like these apples?

Hyper Offense Mew

Mew @ Normal Gem

Adamant Nature

252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 Def

Stealth Rock

Taunt

Tailwind

Explosion

This is made to be a lead for HO teams. Although I don't want to post a set without a description, I don't think the set needs much explaining. It's just meant to get SR and Tailwind before Exploding, letting your other team members wreak havoc.

Oh, oh, I forgot to mention that things like the weakness resisting berries like the Dark or Bug one (don't know their names - Tanga?) can be great for getting a surprise survival and then eliminating another of your opponent's pokemon. This is best on the Nasty Plot set or the SD set. Mew is just so diverse, you're not limited to changing its moves - fiddling with its item can be great for laddering as well.

EDIT: Also sorry for the double post but I felt this was relevant to the boosting sets mainly (although the berries might be nice on HO Mew as well), so I didn't want to put it in the same post.
