What, a smeargle used for something OTHER than Baton Pass? Blasphemy!

---

Smeargle (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- ExtremeSpeed
- Counter
- Mirror Coat
- Spore

---

So, this smeargle is part of my little bag of weird pokemon, and works surprisingly well. Most people do two things when they see a smeargle - Taunt it or kill it. Naturally, for the first case, I'd be an idiot to keep smeargle in the ring. But for the second case, now we're talking!

Basically, this smeargle acts as my surprise revenge-killer on a normal monotype. No one sees Counter or Mirror Coat coming, especially for those with their machamps and Lum Berries. Sashed or Sturdy? Meet Extremespeed. Next turn, barring priority or outspeeding, smeargle's usually fast enough to rig a Spore before it goes down.

Smeargle (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Moody
Vs: 4 HP / 252 HP / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Spore
- Substitute
- Minimize
- Baton Pass

My favorite Smeargle set, this is designed to abuse all the gifts Reborn allows but other servers deny. Spore to put your opponents to sleep, then set up a sub and minimize, while accumulating a +2 boost every turn from Moody. Top it off by baton passing your invisibility cloak to the sweeper of your choice. The beauty of this set is that even Roar/Whirlwind have a very low chance of hitting after just one evasion boost.

Ah, confused the two of them yet again.

I rarely bother with Evasion, since with my luck... well, I could have a +6 Evasion boost, and still I'd get hit by normally inaccurate moves like Fire Blast.
