que
I've noticed that most of the topics in this area are on coding, so this may be in the wrong area and I apologize for that in advance. I was told that if I wanted to help with the development of Pokemon Reborn to come here and post a topic. I do not know coding and cannot sprite to save my life; however, I am a CRLA certified English tutor as well as a Game Design and Development student specializing in Narrative and Level Design. What do those things mean? The CRLA certification means that an international organization has deemed that my knowledge of English grammatical structures is sufficient enough to edit and aid students in the process of writing stories, essays, poems, etc. The Narrative and Level Design aspect of the Game Design and Development program I am in focuses around advance story techniques, character development, matching narrative to gameplay, etc. The point is that if there is grammar to be fixed, spelling to be checked or simply another creative mind to help contribute to the already fantastic story of Pokemon Reborn, please do not hesitate to ask me. I typically use Final Draft when writing video game dialogue, but I can also use Microsoft Word, Celtx or Google Docs to do editing. Since I truly appreciate the work that has been done to make this game the way it is, it only seems fair that I offer up whatever services I may be able to provide. If I am not needed, then I will go back to playing my monotype playthrough. Edited April 20, 2014 by Devon Ducharme
Administrators Amethyst Posted April 20, 2014 Administrators Share Posted April 20, 2014 The story's already completely written As for editing, if you find typos and whatnot you're certainly free to report them but the game dialogue is just put right into the editor, so it's not like there's any passive text-document dump I could do to make it quick for editing. Although I appreciate the offer.
