Let's just all count our blessings that Notus didn't throw in a giant talking serpent to make this horror version of the Garden of Eden complete...

(Watch, he'll come back and see this... then he'll probably do just that...Damn...)

well, looks like someone's got fire on the mind... Would fire even work, Notus?

and just to make sure, @ Supernovae, you intended for Mr.Taylor to die at that point, Right? not have someone step in and intervene?

Editing done...

Alright, there's a chance now... (He can't really see clearly from his position in the tree, so his perception of events can be a bit off.)

Not too far off, though certainly not within melee range. If Rose wants to throw some magic at them or Byron wants to shoot them up though they'd be perfectly within range. And I appreciate that Strat, I kind of want you guys to take on the position of your characters in Mr. Taylor's chances of survival. If your character would be willing to get themselves in to danger to save Mr. Taylor then by all means, but if your character wouldn't care enough to save him then I'd prefer he'd die (however Mr. Taylor has bonded with a good bit of the group and the people he hasn't really had a chance to talk to would have there own personal reasons to save him. So I figure someone would want to save him.) But, yeah I'm deciding to back away from character's fate here and leave it up to you guys for a little.

Alriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!! :Kappa:

Looks like we got a CYOA on our hands!

(Sorry if you were meaning to be serious about this, just thought I'd lighten the mood a bit, what with this horror-movie style "Night of the Loving Dead" situation and all)

This sequence is getting nice! Well, once you finish the rescue I will... start some things. Unfortunately Ellaria is quite useless with all that noise, and it's not exactly the best situation for invisibility too, so she'll leave it for you guys.

I'll only allow it to be a CYOA if you all can write better than the people who wrote the original CYOA's. Seriously you get to write like 5 stories in a book and you figure out a way to make NONE of them make sense?! (Though I totally loved some of them as a kid.)

Is anyone else in favor of burning all these Filthy, Lust Crazed Bastards to a crisp?

if we act as soon as morning comes and they go away, we might be able to build a big enough bon-fire for the next night...

well... if we all get into trees that are a considerable distance away before setting the place alight...

we could set up multiple pyres and rigg areas to go up, having someone go down and light them...

And I think I now just the guy who could do that.... of course, this plan is assuming that there are others who would like to say "Aye" so that we can get a count for the group in favor.

that's one more.

well, the plans pretty much like I said above. gather some tinder and fuel come morning, spend the day setting up pyres (Preferably in a circular arrangement, forming a perimeter around where we will be taking refuge in the trees)

then rig the areas by throwing down a bunch of flammable materials like dead twigs so the fires can spread (though, the Loving Dead will also do as means to spread it) then we climb les trees and wait till nightfall.

after the Loving Dead pop up, we send someone (*Cough* Who can manipulate fire at will and follows a certain character as a presence at the back of his mind! *Cough*) to light the pyres and set the trap to activate. simple enough...

and maybe...

maybe the Drake Thead may be of some use with all that fire for Lucian to manipulate... :Kappa:

gotta make them abilities as Keeper useful while they last...

(We should probably set some barrier up to prevent the Loving Dead who'll be burning from coming into contact with the trees and setting them on fire as well)
