Damn...

knew the days down here were short... but not that short... Good God... that's barely enough time to do anything really, let alone a plan like I've outlined above...

ah well... Guess we'll be sticking to the Hack and Slash method then... (Or rather, the hack and shoot method) Seems to be working so far... not...

I don't really see any viable way out of this except to travel as far as we can by daylight and bunkering down in the night... seeing as how the threat after dusk is so damn great, chances are Sleep will become a very rare thing... I think it only appropriate that after about two our so days, pretty much everyone in the group will be falling out from exhaustion... unless we do sleep shifts or something...

but I mean... Two to Three hours Daytime Tops?

Notus, my friend... that's just cruel... even for you...

well, hold on on that thought now...

this guy you introed may make up for all this...

assuming he helps get us out of here and doesn't kill us all, of course...

I know exactly why Notus only gave us two to three hours of Daylight at most in the Second Circle:

Murphy's Law is an essential part of any RP Host's Toolkit.

Oh trust me, If I used that you would all be beyond screwed. (case in point for the people playing in my Graterras RP, if I used that you would have encoutered Dragons already since they live in the Mouth of he Abyss.).

I tossed Murphy's law out of my tool kit because I find it a bit unfair to the players

(Ex. In poke-war, I could've just had Articuno use Mind reader boosted, 100% accuracy sheer cold and destroy the whole defending party at the gates...then have everyone at it's mercy... though I didn't, because to me, I felt as that that would've been a real Dick move on my part...)

Only time Murphy's Law should ever be used by a Host, when a Player brings it upon themselves due to rash actions (though sparingly if you want them to ever trust you, though completely fine on evil characters as they kinda deserve to die in gruesome ways.) or when the world is established from the beginning to be an extremely dangerous place. Since in this RP characters do not permanently die it isn't too much a problem, and I mean it is Hell.......so it is a pretty "hellish" place.

A staff member of hell told our group where the boss is (we hope) and sent the loving dead away, Ethic's having Arcana issues, Mr. Taylor almost died, Byron just woke up again, Rose is suffering from a massive headache/nosebleed with a cut on her arm and a twisted ankle, Kenny's suffering aura over usage after healing Byron, Annie's trying to reason with Mr. Taylor why we should go to the boss, Ellaria's freaked out from everything happening so far.

Marcus and Ixidor went for a ride on a manticore and became separated after the manticore dropped Marcus; it then amputated one of Ix's hands. Both have met two young women, presumably hell staff.

Phantom is doing his thing, and Quincy is loving the hell outta killing the loving dead. We don't know about Damian.

...Hope this answers the question Zeph.

Yay, things are going kinda fast now.

As for the Murphy's law thing, I actually use Smith's law. Smith said that Murphy was an optmist:" Everything that can go wrong will go wrong, in the worse possible moment and causing the biggest damage possible. " XD

But be rested, now that you've met the new guys your nights won't be so hard for some time.

Another variation on Murphy's Law is this: "If something can go wrong, it will go HORRIBLY wrong at the worst possible moment."

So yeah. :Kappa:

here's my Law that I use in place of Murphy's...

"Murphy's and Smith's Laws are hogwash; anything that can go wrong will only go wrong if people do not act intelligently to prevent the situation from escalating."

-Stratos's Law

EDIT:

And as for Ethic right now, no Interlopers, please... It's fine to be able to see what's going on, but there really isn't anything anyone can do to help him at this time. It's a battle he'll have to fight on his own.

And it's also a battle in which he is guaranteed to die...the odds simply are entirely against his favor...

but after he dies... now that's where the real fun will begin...
