Stein
Protect us! Lugia @ Leftovers Trait: Multiscale EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef Calm Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Recover - Dragon Tail - Light Screen - Reflect Great special wall no doubt. Put this baby with a Skarmory and you have defense for both situations. Lugia can defend and put up both screens for your team and can recover if need be. If you're opponent tries to set up or kill you, those heightened defenses will assure you one clean hit with a dragon tail, assuming your opponent doesn't have a substitute up it will force your opponent to switch and let you recover some health with leftovers. Not to mention with Multiscale your opponent might have a hard time killing you in one go no matter what. This team also does a great job at stopping your opponents from setting up any type of boosters since dragon tail will force your opponent to switch out and lose those stats. YAY! Noivy
Recovery Tank Lugia @ Leftovers Trait: Multiscale EVs: 188 HP / 236 Def / 60 SAtk / 24 SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Recover - Calm Mind - Psychic - Aeroblast/Hurricane Lugia is one of the best Ubers with its Ability. Shared only by Dragonite. (Unless you live by the VWBB Standards) Setup with a Calm Mind since the chance of anything OHKOing this thing from 100% is pretty much a dream. To take full advantage of thi ability, use Recover. Psychic and Aeroblast/Hurricane for Dual STAB options.
Phazer
Skytank Lugia @ Leftovers Trait: Multiscale EVs: 180 HP / 152 Def / 176 SDef Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Dragon Tail/ Whirlwind - Thunder Wave - Recover - Substitute Good phazer, and pretty simple. All that must be done for this to work is to focus on ending on full life at the end of each 2 or 3 turns. Lugia starts out with full life meaning that multiscale will take effect once hit. After the hit you will probably have half life+, so set up that substitute and twave your foe so that you can recover before they hit you again. Now repeat the sub and recover over and over until the paralyzation kicks in. Then dtail the foo. Simple. note: You might want to set up hazards before this so don't put Lugia up in as a lead, or you could use this to parashuffle. Meaning that you want each of their pokes to be paralyzed. TripleRhu
Skytank Lugia @ Leftovers Trait: Multiscale EVs: 180 HP / 152 Def / 176 SDef Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Dragon Tail/ Whirlwind - Thunder Wave - Recover - Substitute Good phazer, and pretty simple.
If you have Dragon Tail, because of Lugia's mediocre Attack stats it will not break substitutes and it will have to rely on single attack move with decreased priority. So, I'd suggest putting a move like Toxic or Will-O-Wisp to slowly kill the opponent while Whirlwinding / Dragon Tailing annoyers. I have once swept an entire team with Lugia only :3 successfultroll.jpg
