As the shard's circled back they stopped in midair."You aren't an Eternal Watcher are you Earth-Shaker? No Earth or stone is truly evil, you only fail to convince it to your side." said a new voice from somewhere nearby. A strange creature stood at the other side of the bridge when he got there the heros didn't know but he was here now. He was of the same race of the Black Lizard creatures, however he seemed different. He didn't seem threatening or evil. His scales looked as if they were made of Well aged Brass, having a slightly green tinge to them. "Watch this!" he shouted. The Twisted stones turned midair, and grew long and thin. they flew towards the flock of Stirge and impaled at least 40 of them. There was still a large amount of Stirge left however. They were yet to be out of the danger. 3 were still struggling with Xavier, they had yet to be successful getting their beaks into his flesh as his armour was giving them problems.

Marcus let go a whistle when the new figure made his move. He didn't have nice memories of this Lizard race, but if this one was against them he could just have destroyed the bridge and would all be dead by now.

"Nice move friend. Now everyone, hurry to the other side quickly, we don't want to spend much time in this damned bridge." He shot a flame wave at a bigger group of the angry birds as he said that.

The flames consumed a small number of them, as they continued to speed towards the bridge. "COme on you bastards! OVER HERE!!!" Said the Lizard-Thing. He slammed the big walking stick he had into the ground. He encased himself in solid stone, with a loud clap. It distorted the Remaining Stirge, a lot of their senses relied on sound. A another number of them broke off, all landing on the Stone Statue. From inside, a loud voice could be heard, though a little Muffled. "REPULSE!" the stone exploded outward, killing most of the stirge landing on it, while knocking others senseless to the ground. The Lizard-like Creature, seemed unharmed from the blast, with a cocky grin on his face.

"Quickly to the other side, now's our chance!" Odin shouted, noting most of the Stirge were now occupied, or knocked out. Mindless Beasts they were, so they would be disorganized for enough time for everyone to get across.

Akuma was in the mid way of the bridge when he heard the commotion and the flapping what seems to be a horde of Stirge. his allies got it covered so far with the power of earth and fire on their side, Akuma bash his way through the remaining Stirges in front of him as he sprints towards. an unfamiliar voice was heard at the other side of the bridge.

"COme on you bastards! OVER HERE!!!"

Akuma sees the lizard thing as an ally and shouted "Come on! He's right! The more that we stay on this bridge the likely will be these foul beast's next meal!".

While his allies, and a strange Lizard, used various techniques, Sigurd focused on cutting down the Stirge that appeared in front of him. He was tempted to use a powerful technique to blow away the remaining opponents, if it wasn’t for the bridge. Instead Sigurd stopped running and focused on only one of his swords. He held it between his hands, one hand on the point. While he concentrated he murmured a prayer in Aelia’s honor.
After a few seconds dust-like particles started gathering at his sword, creating a light blue glow. Sigurd released his technique with a powerful swing, slowing down some of the remaining Stirge.

THough they were stupid, the Stirge grew tired of this prey, it was too hard to get. The remaining ones flew off, almost as quickly as they appeared. "Good, they got the hint." said the Stranger. "Are you lot alright?" he said concern evident on his face.

Drug'thok nodded to the Stranger. "I believe so, thanks to you. Might I inquire as to your name? I'm sure that the rest of the group would agree that we are all curious about what you just did." Drug'thok frowned inwardly, puzzled. This sorcerer can manipulate the Dark? he thought incredulously. I'll be keeping a close eye on him.

"I am simply known as Brass. I am an Earth Templar, though not of the Eternal Watchers, Techniteus is not my god. And All I did was converse with the Earth." he said a smirk on his face. "A Sorcerer like you will never understand what I did, you fools only use Nature for your misguided purposes. You do not treat it with respect, only as a tool to be used." the smirk disappeared from his face a serious look coming over it instead. Brass leaned all of his weight upon the walking stick leaning forward almost scowling at the Sorcerer. "Anyway that is not what I am here for, I am here because we at Passtrough require assistance."

Akuma slowly walk pass the group to interrogate their new found "ally" breaking Dru's pleasantries, he raised and he extend his massive hammer's tip ((that sounded wrong)) a few feet towards the lizardman's head "Ok my cocky earth lizard friend, its great that you aid us and all, it's not that i have trust issues but i don't believe in coincidence well most off them anyways." as Akuma's tone change to threatening "we're not stupid, you have 3 secs to answer us what are you doing here? you see what my fellow man can do here, you haven't seen mine yet!" as Akuma's hostile nature takes over.

"I just said I am here from Passtrough, we need assistance. You Daft Birdbrain?" Brass sighed. "I figured you lot would jump on that, you looked hero enough to me. But I guess I have no choice. Passtrough is under attack. One of the Lich King's army has roamed much to close to the city and means to take it for a base. They are beginning to move out of Dirgesong, and it will be trouble to everyone if we don't stop them. I was headed to Brinestar to see if any hero types were there, since it is a much busier town these days, but I ran into you guys." He than laughed. "Also I think I know what you can do. I am not stupid either friend. Judging by that hammer you are most definitely a Warrior, but I have a feeling you are more than that." a smirk graced his face once more. "Also be glad I am a tolerant guy, Kenku. Any other Victonari hears you call them Lizard, they will smash your head in, that is a grave racial slur to most."

Akuma control his temper as he puts down withdrew his hammer "Fine maybe I'm a bit still rash from that battle, your story checks out after all you aided us. my apologies for that slur my fellow ahh" as he hesitated to finish his speech "friend? for i once suffer the same treatment as my fellow Kenku did." as he steps out with his arms cross.

"I think it is fine, I have a feeling you didn't know. That is why it is good it was me you said it too. I could care less what I am called." Brass sighed "Doesn't help that some of the Victonari feel the need to sully our good name. We used to be well respected once you know. Anyway enough idle chatter, are you lot with me?"

"I am sure you can find something among the corpses of brutally murdered children and Women if we don't hurry along. I have nothing I can promise you." Brass said disgust evident in his voice. Brass though the heros had no way of knowing, was a true warrior. His Ideals were more important to him then some stupid coin. He hated those that lusted after physical objects or wealth. He tried to not show it too much, but it got to him anyway.

"I would be glad to help, if you people need help you can count on us." said Odin, a reassuring smile on his face. "You can count me in Mister Brass, my name is Odin Thunderbrew."

"Thunderbrew, eh? You one of those brothers that makes that killer ale? If so I think I just found True love." he laughed a hearty laugh. His deep dulcet voice sounding like rumbling earth. "Now this guy I like." He shook Odin's hand, and gave him a pat on the back (he had to stoop down a bit Odin was only about half his size. [for reference, Odin is a bout 4'5ish, Brass is about 8'6ish] it looked more than a little silly.

((additional reference. Noted.))

Helzebeth pretended to be uninterested as she prodded one of the dead Stirges corpses with her foot.

On the other hand, she asked, "I propose that we get going, lest anymore strange demons come to try hinder us." The huntress glanced at her wolf, who was still uneasy about the place, though he growled less.

Jeneve was a bit disappointed. From experience, corpses tended not to have much value left on them. That said, the lizard man had a sharp tongue, and that she could appreciate. Besides, maybe the besieging army of eldritch abominations would have something pretty and shiny on them. At worst she could loot a couple of horns and con idiots into thinking they had magical healing properties. Her mercenary conscience thus assured, she folded her arms and waited for the group to get moving.

"I suggest we be on our way." said Brass "We have a lot of ground to cover, and it will be dark soon." Brass turned and began to walk off not looking if the others were following him, he figured either they would, or they would not, it was not up to him.

Nero frowned. This wasn't what he had agreed to. He would have left right there had it not been for the opportunity presented. He would use the battles to come to become stronger, and ultimately, to get his revenge. His decision made, he set out upon their destination.

Sigurd couldn’t care less about the all the chitchatting about potential rewards. He wanted some decent action and hone his skills so he could kill the Gentleman next time they met.
“Hey, big guy,” he said as he walked next to Brass. “What exactly are we facing? And I call dibs on their boss! After all, I have to show these Fire guys that Wind rules!”

"Mostly Lesser Undead, or so my friend says. Apparently their Leader is still holed up back in his castle. He would know a lot more than me I am afraid." Brass sighed. He didn't like being not useful, but he had left the town quickly as to find more heros. He didn't have a lot of time to access what was happening. "Anyway, this is just a fringe force right now, apparently they thought we would be so weak as too not have any Militia. They were very wrong. We need to get back though, I don't know how long Orpheaus can hold out against them without me."

"Undead you say?" Marcus asked "FINALLY! It seems them rumours weren't all lies after all. You can count on me to burn these things down mister Brass." He than turned to the wind templar "By the way Sigurd, about Wind ruling, what do you think about a friendly competition? Whoever kills more enemies by the end of the day wins. Sounds good?" Marcus said with a playfull smile.
