Raindrop Valkyrie
"I am running the wall team, as my strength comes from my magic it is best I not be in the fight with Orpheaus. We will be helping Akuma keep the Droves of the undead away from you if possible." Brass said, feeling he should answer, "Yes, Brass fights with a style utilizing the Earth to it maximum potential. Sadly, my anti-magic shell keeps him from fighting at full capacity. And it is important we have it up as the Death Knight is in clear possession of powerful magic." Orpheaus said. Zephyrus the Priestess
"Any catapults we could utilize? I don't suppose the fragile bony devils, nor the golems, should be able to easily resist heavy boulders," suggested Helzebeth. With her family at either side of her, she felt more confidence welling up within her, as well as eagerness to do battle. "Hunter can aid as a front liner as well. He makes short work of his prey and scatters even the most stubborn herds and flocks." That, and the said wolf was still quite ravenous, she sensed. Another war was at hand. The black-grey wolf still wasn't satisfied, even after finally finding a chance to steal away what he deemed was the thinnest of lambs, so that the town wouldn't essentially lose more valuable livestock. A mad chase through the streets and desperate attempts to hide himself and dodge the angry farmer had burned out the energy he had gained from digesting the little sheep's meat. Hunter growled, low in his throat, in hunger and anticipation, within the safety of the darkness of an alley, where he blended in perfectly with its shadows. Battle usually brought him more food, and enemy fighters tended to taste better than mere wild game that simply ran away.
Raindrop Valkyrie
"If we did, we would have use them by now. But that is part of the reason why Brass and Dru'thok on on the walls. They can pelt the enemies with Rocks from afar, adding to the bulk of our Archers on the walls." Orpheaus said. "Aye, and we have Jupiter and Helzebeth to run the archer brigades, so me and Dru can focus on showering them in the Earth." Brass added, clenching his fist, a flame in his eyes. Raindrop Valkyrie
"Alright, then it is settled." Orpheaus said, his golden eyes gleaming with passion. "We the frontliners will take the fight to the ground, and burst through the enemy lines, The members of the scout team will join the militia and Akuma to keep the bulk of the enemy force away from us. And Brass and his wall team will break the hole for us. The FInal Hours are before us. steel yourselves my companions this will be a tough fight." Flux
Nero stood suddenly, looking Orpheaus in the eye. He spoke calmly, but there was a rage flickering in his eyes. "I would request to join the battle against the Death Knight." His eyes seemed darker than usual. "I have a score to settle with him." He kept his steely gaze on the Victonari, awaiting an answer. Ragnar
Akuma nodded at Orpheaus. "Sounds like a plan, remember Nero you're not alone in this fight, I'll smash everything that gets in our way to him."
Raindrop Valkyrie
It was dead Silent in the Night, all stood still. The Militia stood restlessly in front of the gate to town, cluthing their mismatched, and shoddy weaponry in their hands. All that could be heard was the heavy breathing of the man next to you. It was unsettling. The only solace the men found was the Golden Figure and the heros standing at their head. Orpheaus placed the palm of his hand on the pommel of his sword. He didn't seem as unnerved as the soldiers. he was probably used to the undead as he was a paladin. The Archers stood on the wall, all ready to fire at the first thing they could see. Brass stood on the West wall, where as Dru was on the Eastern wall. Helze found herself with Dru, leading the archer battery. Jupiter was on the West with Brass. They all kept their eyes peeled, watching the trees for any movement. Odin shifted nervously. He was down in the ranks of the men. He still didn't have any armour, so he couldn't help but feel a bit naked. He stood next to Nero, who stood near the lead with Orpheaus and the Frontliners Team. He placed his hand on the man's shoulder, a wordless way to say, make it back. *Crash*, a nasty sound came from the woods, as all of a sudden skeletons flooded out of the woods. They knocked down trees on their way giving them so faux cover from the waves of arrows. It was a horrible noise, like nature itself screamed at the loss of her tress. It felt like the world repulse form these vile creatures, and the feeling of despair and evil in the air was almost enough to make one sick. The battle of Passtrough had begun the Hordes of the undead barreling towards them at top speed. ((Feel free to get a bit creative. AS of Now, the Skeletons are Trash mobs. Though, any other kind of undead will be my discretion. Remeber, feel free to let lose, however don't be reckless or I will kill you off. This is a very dangerous battle, don't take the numbers of the skeletons lightly. They can quickly overwhelm you if be too reckless.))
Chevaleresse
Xavier let out a loud battle cry and leapt into the air on a jet of flames, flying at their undead foes. He landed directly on a skeleton, bearing it downward and slamming into the ground with a blast of flame, destroying most of the undead in a small radius around him. The Cinder Knight then began his flowing, almost dancelike attack, laying about with blade and building up an aura of heat.
Notus
Marcus smiled and started forward to give Xavier cover. "Hey, don't you dare start the fun without me!" Heating up the edge of his blade, the young warrior screamed and started his dance. Marcus blocked a skeleton's blow with his shield and ripped it apart with a full strenght downward cut, the hot sword cutting clean through bone and armour. "One!" Quickly recovering his defensive stance, he kept repeating the process, either blocking blows with shield or cutting down the enemies blades with his own. In no time he was near the elf Knight. "Two! Three! Hey guys, you better hurry if you wanna win that contest!" He shouted to the others with a laugh.
Ragnar
Akuma withdrew his hammer "Hold your ground men, save your strength, consider this as my warm up" he addresses the militia behind him. "bunch of sword wielders, let me show you how its done!" he swirls his body rapidly at the lesser undead warriors and swings his mighty hammer round and round.Cracking the skulls of the undead around him. Zephyrus the Priestess
"Make use of the torches!" Helzebeth had to thank the goblins she'd taken down easily back in Brinestar-- it hadn't occurred to her to dip her arrows in flame before. Surely the skeletons could not resist normal fire. She held her arm out, her palm open as a signal. The first groups of archers poised their bows, awaiting the ranger's command. "FIRE!" An initial volley of flaming arrows flew towards the enemy horde, towards the further portion of the opposing Undead army. "Second unit, ready!" The second unit of archers moved forward to the torches, taking the former groups' position and readying their arrows. "FIRE!" Another deadly rain of fire fell upon the skeletons mercilessly, with the bows trained to shoot the incoming skeleton units, setting fire easily to the fallen trees that covered them in vain. Helzebeth held her own fire first, directing group after group of archers, her determined grey eyes like thunderclouds, sparking with energy that flashed like lightning. In the frontlines, a familiar, snarling black and grey blur darted among the skeletons. Easy prey-- easy, yes, but meatless prey. Hunter growled in anticipation, awaiting more fleshy targets-- in the meantime he tackled, tore at, and slammed into the Undead ranks, taking care to dodge the hell fire that hailed from the archers in an attempt to confuse the footsoldiers. Raindrop Valkyrie
THe hail of arrows flew into the undead horde, felling many of the foes, however new undead quickly took their place. THe Flames for now warded off some of the area, tunneling the Skeletons into a bottleneck. A volley of rocks flew from Brass's side felling the Undead nearby the 2 Cinder Knights ((totaling 27.)). Orpheaus had a small chuckle to himself as he began to run in behind the Cinder Knights. "Good to see they are as reckless as ever, so eager to get into the fray Cinder Knights are." He charged forward, drawing his blade. It didn't shine nearly as bright as it did in the day time, but it could still be easily seen. Orpheaus kept his eyes open for now. He diced one Skeleton clean in half as he caught up to the others charging in the fray. A Skeleton's blade nearly came down on Xavier's head, when a hatchet buried itself in it's skull. It crumpled to the ground a pathetic pile of bones. Odin Rushed in, picking up his hatchet. "You guys miss me?"
Jory
Drug'thok smiled as he saw Brass launching his first volley of rocks. I don't mean to turn this into a competition, but here goes nothing. He closed his eyes, feeling the rhythm of the earth underneath him. It was nearly indistinguishable from the cacophony of skeletal marching, but, like a pilgrim to his destination, managed to find it and hold it in his mind. He began to chant, his voice rising in volume as he continued the incantation: "Terra surgere. Sugere e surgere rursus. Terra frendoses, monolythos frendanen esos!" As the half-Orc chanted, a section of the battlefield that had been overrun by skeletons began to rise into the air. Bones shattered as they hit the ground from nearly four stories in the air, while other skeletons simply stayed on top of the floating monolith. "Terra locoxe!" he shouted, strain evident in his voice. The huge piece of earth, roughly fifteen meters in any direction from the center, flew back into the ranks of the skeletal army, crushing the opposition. Dru breathed heavily, wiping sweat from his brow. We're not done yet... he thought to himself as the sea of bones continued to push against the defenders. Notus
"You guys miss me?" "Yeah, we sure did!" Marcus answered the dwarf with a laugh. Back in high spirits thanks to the heat of the fight, the young templar resumed his fight. With the others near it was easier to defend himself, so he kept his back to them and focused on attacking. The skeletons equipment surely wasn't the best out there, and with the hot-blade technique each cut meant a fallen enemy.
Zephyrus the Priestess
Round after round fired-- literally-- at the Undead horde with the guidance of the ranger, who itched to get some shooting done herself. Whipping out her bow and arrows as well, she went on yelling instructions and firing multiple shots at once, ensuring to the best of her ability that her flaming arrows pierced through a skeleton's eye. Chevaleresse
"Hope you can keep up!" Xavier called to the dwarf. He was moving through the undead forces one sweeping blow at a time, each flowing into the next. He would wait as long as he could to swing, letting the dead cluster, then use the momentum gained after cutting them down to move to another position, the tip of his blade trailing a flame that was slowly growing in heat and size. Raindrop Valkyrie
All of a sudden the flames from the arrows fired earlier, swept up into the sky. It danced for a second, spreading shadows among the participants of the battle. Then it flowed towards a Central point. A disgusting abomination of Bones towered over the rest of the undead, a Dragon's skull for a head. It had a great black flame in it's gut, licking at the mismatched bones creating the chest cavity of the beast. It shook the ground with every step it took. It's charred and blackened bones made it a visage of terror. Black Flames leaking from its skull made what could be considered eyes. It seemed to train its sight on the wall, it trudged slowly towards it goal. Odin fought despartly, hacking and ripping skeletons apart. He was glad he managed to hold onto all his hatchets, and kept throwing them and retrieving them form the fallen bodies quickly. He was pretty nimble for a Dwarf, though the others could tell he was tiring quickly in his old age. He kept up his assault. Orpheaus, charged through the way, now it front of the others. He placed his hand to his head, and then quickly turned his sword upside down holding out the Pommel. He shouted "BEGONE!!!!!" Some of the skeletons crumpled into dust rapidly, the others had white flames light inside their skulls. They fled quickly, screaming in agony. "Quickly friends, we must get to that Infernal Golem." he said pointing at the Behemoth of mismatched bones. "Under no circumstances can we let it near the wall! besides I think we will find our little Death Knight frined in that direction anyway." Notus
Marcus let out a whistle when he saw the golem. "Ok, that should count as more than one in the contest. Either way, let's see how strong this guy's flames are." He then turned to the monsters direction and started to fight his way through.
Flux
Nero swung his swords at the skeletons near him, shattering their bones as they collapsed to the ground. He heard Orpheaus calling out, and what the Victonari said caught his attention. "Quickly friends, we must get to that Infernal Golem. Under no circumstances can we let it near the wall! Besides, I think we will find our little Death Knight friend in that direction anyway." Nero beheaded the skeleton that approached, making his way towards Orpheaus and the golem. If that was the way to the Death Knight, that was the way he would go.
Zephyrus the Priestess
Well, that signified the arrival of the blasted spawn of hell. After cursing under her breath, she exclaimed, "Don't use the torches anymore! Arrows with fire are wasted with the presence of the Bone Golem." With that in mind the army continued fire, without the blessing of the flame, at the remnants of the skeletal army that Orphaeus hadn't slain. Helzebeth really wished that the village did have some catapults or something that dealt heavier damage in stock. There was a stronger presence about. The wolf turned his snout in a direction, barely feeling his master's frustration over his gnawing hunger as he stood over the shattered frame of a skeleton. A mad whirl of fur, the pangs of hunger gradually worsening in his stomach, he slammed into both the living and the Undead to get to the monster. Ragnar
"Quickly friends, we must get to that Infernal Golem, Under no circumstances can we let it near the wall! besides I think we will find our little Death Knight friend in that direction anyway." Akuma heard Orpheaus' command, He quickly dispose of two the skeletons he was holding. The Birdman grabs their fragile skulls as he collides them to each other, Akuma climbs over a seemingly a huge pile of bones and commanded the rest of the militia, holding his hammer up high. "Okay you heard the man, half of you hold them of! we've soften them enough for you, After you're done here, advance like the rest of us! don't keep us waiting!" He shouted. He set his one eye, sighting the towering infernal giant. The Kenku release a warcry which is similar to an eagle call, Akuma gets down from the mount and rushes through the battlefield with great speed and ramming everything in his path as he follows the Golden Victonari. Akuma's rage starts to build up with every step he makes.
Chevaleresse
"Well, come on then!" Xavier shouted in defiance at the infernal undead monster as it drew closer.
