I have an idea for one of two Rps.

So anyway first off i not dead and second sorry for not post in like forever. But i have come back baring gifts two ideas for RPs. Well one which is whichever one of the two y'all like the best.

So the first on is a Fate/Stay Night RP. Which i have actually finally decided on seven servants for(all i need is to work out the noble phantasms for a few of them and boom it can be done.)

Even if you don't know much about the Fate universe I will do my best to explain it if this one is one that people want to be done.(or you could like either watch the first three episodes of Fate/Zero anime[since they actually explain things in that series. unlike the Fate/Stay Night anime]or you could go read up on some parts of the wiki mainly the Holy Grail War and heroic sprites and servant and servant classes parts. Or do all of it if you wish)

The second one is one of my own creation call Dragon Academy(title pending) which involves dragons of course. Its actually inspired by many different place be a manga, DND and almost any thing related to dragons including my own nerdy dragon part of my brain.

The only things that i am having trouble about with this is just how smart to make the dragons and if i should have a school uniform for the students(like is said partly inspired by a manga). And if there should be actual magic in it.

So the questions are

Which of the two would you like to see or not see?

If the dragon one gets picked how smart the dragons should be?

So like DND smart where they can talk or more like a mabair hound in dragon age really intelligence just can't communicate. or any other type of intelligence y'all can think of.

Should there be a "school uniform" or not?

And should there be actual magic?

Ok, jokes apart a Fate RP would be just amazing. I am a little too busy now, but for this I think I could find some time .

Your other idea seems very nice too, but if I had to pick one I'd pick Fate.

You know I love Fate is it the idea you had the other time about a largely post-New World based Heroic Spirit roster?

Also, would it be a generic Grail War, or would you be invluding special servant classes? (I.e. Avenger, Launcher, Savior)

It's not my Fate/New World idea given I still haven't found good servants for the lance and saber classes so that's in the back burner for a while. And its going to be a generic one war with the normal seven classes. if you want Acqui I can send you my ideas for the servants.

Well the Fate/New World is an idea i had for either an RP or story. The concept is that the holy grail is stolen for Fukira City(or however you spell that) and is brought over to the Americas by an certain organization. Said organization then alters the grail so that the during the next war the servants summoned would all be form well the new world (so the western hemisphere mainly the Americas) or some one who played a important part in the development of the new world.(so no Greek heroes in this one) From the discovery of the new world tell about the beginning of the 1900's and of course i ignore the assassin rule because it make things boring if i stick with it. The biggest problem i found well thinking of servants for its was well the saber and lancer classes are hard to find people for given that there was really no history of the sword and spear really playing a major part in the new world. But gun and horse played a major part so the Archer and Rider classes i can think of a lot of people to fit in to those ones. If anything i might eventually make up some new classes to switch those two with.(something like Commander and Rebel class or something like that).

I actually want to do a normal Fate Rp before i try that one. Mainly to see how people like my ideas for the servants before i do Fate/New World.

On a couple related notes one with the people who responded and me that's four people who expressed interest in a Fate Rp which is only three away from actually being able to do one.

And to those who know about Japanese historic characters would Tomoe Gozen fit better in the Saber class or the Lancer class?

also don't worry i all ready have my allotted Greek hero for this one ready to go.(which Acquiescene can probably guess who it is and what class they fall under)

I see what your doing here. Trying to get me to tell you my idea for it because of my love of explaining things. Well you can't fool me into reviling the four types of dragons that would be used in....WAIT pay no attention to that previous statement.

For new world while maybe somebody didn't literally use a Sword or a Lance. Saber and Lancer or more like over arching themes I get from. (Are most of the servants the same in Fate/Zero as they are in Stay Night? I haven't got to a point in Fate Zero where any servants have showed up yet.) I have feeling Saber doesn't literally have to use a sword, but could instead be a Great leader (which without spoilers, is what Saber was in Fate Stay Night at least, as well as being a great sword wielder.). Examples would depend on where you are drawing the heros from. Like what time periods in American history are you drawing from? doesit go back to the 13 colonies?

Also I would really like more info on your second one. Like I literally have nothing to access it on, but by my D and D knowledge of Dragons. and I am strict with my definitions of them. (I have drawn my dragons mostly from 2nd Edition D and D for Graterras, though the RPers won't be meeting them for a long time, as Dragons are powerful, and most of them abhor Humans, so they will literally destroy them. [even though the Gentleman already did that once, but that was introducing the Big Bad, little bit different scenario.]) Only reason I am asking is because your description literally doesn't say anything about the rp other than Dragons are involved and a school of some sort judging by the name. What is it about? Are we playing Normal People, Half Dragons, or people with a connection to Dragons in some lesser way?

(Also if using D and D as a resource, each type of Dragon should have different intelligence Level. Different types of Dragons have differing intellgence levels, with which I am sure you know. Examples. The Amethyst Dragon is highly intelligent Having almost super computer level intellgence, while White Dragons were dumber than your average person, more easily giving into their primal desires. Amethyst Dragons as a result were more likely to know other languages than their own, while White's saw Human etc. as prey so they rarely learned other languages, because you don't usually talk to your food. Just my 2 cents.)

As for Tomoe Gozen, based on the Heike Monogatari, she is better suited for the Saber class. As a samurai, she specialised in the katana. That said, do keep in mind that there is no concrete evidence that Tomoe Gozen was an actual existing person. Perhaps you'd like to consider a more traditional choice of Saber, such as Uesugi Kenshin(sengoku) or Zhou Yu/Liu Bei (Three Kingdoms)

^ I assume that is for Rusty lol. and I only used amethyst because in D and D terms it is the Smartest Dragon there is. having an 18-20 int score. (10-12 is the average person according to D and D.) Only Smarter Dragon is the Steel Dragon, but it is a Lesser Dragon. (THis all D and D only stuff though. I have no idea what Rusty is doing with it, because saying it is a mixture of things really doesn't tell me what it is. and D and D is the only relevant info I have, so I am sharing that.)

The only two servant who you will recognize in Fate/Zero are Saber and Gil.

Well unfortunately the classes are pretty ridged in how servants qualify for them. Saber is a class where all the servants form it excelled in the use of swords and Lancer used a spear or a long sharp pointy thing. Actually any class could potentially have a great leader be summoned under it(wait until the banquet of kings in Fate/Zero and you will see what i mean. coughzeroridercough) As well as could have bad people as well summoned Like Saber of Red who is this person http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/Saber_of_Red aka not a good person.

Here is a simple and broad way to put it. Those summoned under the Saber used swords life. Lancer used long arm weapons. Archers use excelled in long range. Rider rode something. Caster used magic.Berserker went mad at one point in there life.Now there are many exception and other reason and factors why each is summoned as they are like Berserker in Fate/Stay Night could actually be summoned under any other class other then caster but would actually be able to make the best use of all of his abilities under archer.(look at the wiki it is very good and informative. or not up to you.) Short version Saber needs to have used a sword.

the time line for servants in Fate/New World is form the discovery of the new world by Columbus tell the 1900's.(because thats the cut off for the normal grail anyway something about no heroes being made because its in the time where feats of myth an legend are now common place the wiki as a better explanation then me. Except Archer in Fate/Stay Night he made a deal with the grail that's why he gets summoned.) So yes its goes back that far and even further.

You know i don't like to use servants who have been used in any of type-moons media for Fate(though i am making a exception for one in this bunch because i didn't know they actually where used until after all the work i put in them. and they where used for the first holy grail war anyway so i think its fine if use them). and for Tomoe not having concrete evidence really doesn't matter because well this person http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/Berserker_of_Black and Saber no concrete evidence fro those two either so she is fair game to use. I was only asking because i mostly see depiction of her with a long arm like weapon(Persona 4 anyone) so I was just wondering what other people thought.

As for Dragon Academy(lets see if i can keep this short) you would be most likely be playing a normal human that's why i asked if i should have magic in it or not(most likely if i use magic its going to be limited some how.) All the dragon types will have the same base level of intelligence. I am not sure if i want them to be able to talk to people or to be animal like.(hey thats short)

And time for more info for Dragon Academy. there are four types of dragons in this world

1) Earth Dragons which are basically dragons without wings. in exchange for not having wings they are heavier then other kinds and have thicker hides and stronger bones and shorter necks(their kind of like dinosaurs). There "dragon breath" is that of poison

2) Wyverns, the Smallest of the types but the fastest and most agile flyers. their wings replace there forelegs and are like that of a bat. They spit acid as their "dragon breath"

3) Dragons the traditional idea of a dragon with four legs and wings. Heavier and slower then a Wyvern. Their "dragon breath" is fire.

4) Frost Dragons they look like a normal dragon but bigger, slower, and heavier and they can't fly for as long. They tend to be either white or a light blue in color and live in cold environments . Their "dragon breath" is ice or frost. Warning! The most aggressive of all dragon types.

There is a bit more to it but i don't want to give that all away until i decide on a couple of those questions i asked.
