Developers Voctrode Posted December 10, 2011 Developers Share Posted December 10, 2011 [Sand Tank] Gigalith (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Earthquake - Stone Edge - Stealth Rock - Curse If you're not using shiny, gtfo. Now that that's stated, for the real thing. Stealth Rock is stealth Rocky, EQ + Stone Edge is.. a given really. And Curse gives it even MORE power, and defense. Primarily, this set should be used in Sand, and, for added fun, in Trick Room Sand. 1.5x Special defense from sand, and becoming blisteringly fast in Trick Room. Plus, to be honest, this thing looks really cool.
A Pink Cheetah
Sand Tank Sweep Gigalith (M/F) @ Leftovers Trait: Sand Force EVs: 4 HP/ 252 Attack/ 252 Special Defense Adamant Nature - Curse - Earthquake - Heavy Slam - Stone Edge Pretty straightforward, this set is meant to cause damage at almost every turn and to take hits both Physical and Special. EQ + Stone Edge for the perfect type coverage, Leftovers for healing each turn, and Curse for attack and defense boosts. Heavy Slam for anything that either of the other two moves don't hit for SE damage. So, to recap, Gigalith tanks a metric eff-ton of damage and turns around and beats the crap out of its attacker with heavy damage dealing attack that leave your opponent's Pokemon broken and wondering how it got there, who it is, and why it isn't wearing any pants. That's Gigalith for you.
Phazer
Rock Hammer Gigalith (M/F) @ Normal Gem Trait: Sturdy EVs: 4 HP/ 252 ATK/ 252 SPD Adamant Nature - Autotomize - Earthquake - Stone Edge - Explosion Lead: Most people don't expect an attacalith, and predict it would use stealth rock. Most pokemon leads would taunt, some switching into an espeon. What you want to do is autotomize which doubles your speed and halves your weight, thus taking less damage from grass knot. Earthquake with a 100 base power with a max attacalith can dish out alot of damage, with stone edge for coverage and stab. I picke stone edge over rock slide because attacalith can ohko alot of pokemon with low def bases. Now if your opponent counters you with a... flygon, simply use the unexpected explosion to take it out (Gigalith will die though).
A Pink Cheetah
Wait. Autotomize halves your weight as well?
Phazer
Quote from Bulbapedia. "Autotomize raises the user's Speed stat by two stages and decreases the user's weight to half of its original value. This lowers the base power of Heat Crash and Heavy Slam (when used by the user of Autotomize), and Low Kick and Grass Knot (when targeting the user of Autotomize), since these moves are calculated by the user's weight. At the same time, it will increase the damage taken from Heat Crash and Heavy Slam. Autotomize's weight reduction is not transferred if the Pokémon uses Baton Pass." A Pink Cheetah
Oh @ Phazer for the Autoto description. And that set needs a description. It's lifeless without it. The one that TripleRhu posted, that is.
