Your favorite pokemon type

So yeah, I'm interested to know. Vote for your favorite type but also give an explanation if you have one. If you don't have a favorite type yet, have a good think about it.

I'll kick us off with Bug.

That's partly because heracross is a bug type and partly because a lot of other pokemon I like are bug types. Yanmega, escavalier, galvantula, and volcarona are all among my favorite pokemon of all time. Plus with 6th gen bug got a lot of love in the mega evolution department with 3 megas total. Bug's got some powerful pokemon for competitive (*cough scizor cough*) and some that aren't so good but are still hella cool like shuckle or shedinja.

I like the ground type, mainly because of the access to some incredibly powerful attackers, like Garchomp, Nidoking and Mamoswine. Stab EQ/Earth Power is nothing to be messed with, and if you can play the type right, you shouldn't have problems with any type that would otherwise sweep through it (Gastrodon for water types, for example).

Steel for me (Dragon is a close second) mainly because i like computers (Metagross ) and machines in general.

ground rock and grass is what we live on

but nothing can compare to fire. Fire is my favorite type because it is the element of creation and destruction. I can go on for a while about why I love fire but those would all just be random and stuff like that.\

To be honest I don't know why I like fire all that much, it's just always been there following me where I go in life, which has both led to good and bad.

Its a close choice, but between Poison and Ice, I like the former more. That being said, Nidoking and Spheal are my two favorite pokemon, no questions asked.

Steel for me. I like steel because of one pokemon, Aggron. Before that, i was a huge fire-type purist but changed my tune after Steven's aggron slammed me around. Trained an aggron, and beat Pokemon Ruby for the first (and only) time. Since then my favorite pokemon was Aggron....i decided to do a steel-type mono run of pokemon white 2 and thats how steel became my favorite type.

plus whats scarier than an aggron with curse coming to head smash your shit? and a Brave Ferrothorn with curse using Gyro Ball all over your team?

I really like the new fairy type. I've always liked the occult types but dark types are too edgy and aggressive and psychic types are too weird and ghosts always feel lackluster but then fairy comes along and everything is just super cute

i've always liked both Lucario and Riolu. Lucario's a Badass, and Riolu's cute. they cemented the Fighting type as my favorite, with Electric and Water being my other two favorites. it was so hard to chose between one of the three!

Hate to be stereotypical, but the primal power and fury of dragons really attracts me. Dark and Steel are up there. All three have mostly clean, strong designs, and contain some of my favorite Pokemon. (Metagross, Absol, Salamence, Bisharp, RAWRCHOMP, I could go on.)

Even though my favourite pokemon Scizor isn't dark, I still voted for it because it has probably some of the best looking pokemon in its group. ^^
