Bluewolf
I want to be more confident, smarter and emotionally sensitive(that or empathic) so I can better understand others and maybe even better understand myself. And I guess a person who knew what to say at the right time. Some people come to me distressed and distraught and all I can do is be there for them which they think is sufficient but I wish I had something more helpful or encouraging to say. Bearadactyl
As cheesy or childish as it may sound. I literally just want to be someone's hero.
Reignited'Light
Wow. This. I've been thinking about asking myself this question for a long time. And I still don't know the answer. Everything for me now feels so blinding. I can't tell what I even want to be or what to do. I tell myself I have 2 more years to graduate and maybe I would figure it all out eventually, But it's just a excuse for now. One day, I might find myself in this Topic again to reflect on myself. Soysauce
I want to be that dude who can be serious when it's needed, and half easy-going, half crazy the rest of the time. That dude who cheers you up when you're sad and not motivated, also. There is still a lot to do, but I'm on my way.
Chase
In an illustrative approach. I want to be the staff that aids the weary man as he treks. I want to be the vessel that is used for the Creator's work. I want to be the most to those that are the least. I want to be yoked to the one who saves. I want to be strong in my own weakness. I want to be loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, gentle, faithful, and in control of myself. I want to humble myself in my victories, and take heart in my defeats. I want to be still, so as to know my battles will be won. I want to serve my purpose. (This response is not to invite contention as to the legitimacy of certain beliefs, but was to answer the question asked in the title of this thread.- EDIT) Edited June 22, 2014 by W1ng3d_One

Pfft, who needs an anti-zombie kit when you have a shotgun? 8D Anyways... i've kinda been asking myself this very question for a while, and while i may not have objective answer, i have things that i want to do, and things that i don't ever want to see myself doing.. I don't want to ever have to leave someone who truly needs me, and i don't want to fail when i need to do something for the good. I want to honor the trust that people place in me, and make that trust worth it. I want to be independant, but also to have those around me know that they can depend on me if needed, and i want to make that count. I don't ever want to be a coward that runs and leaves behind someone in need of an ally, and i want to be able to shoulder the burden alongside said someone. I don't ever want to become blinded by an achievement to the point of arrogance. I want to be a guardian, a strong one.

In many experiences of my own, much of this cannot be done with trust in the individual. And if they fail to put 100% of their effort in, the house crumbles. I suppose everything there speaks to who I, as well, would like to be. As for the guardian part... What would it be that you guard? And what from? What would it be that you guard? And what from? Well, there isn't really much to say about that part, i just want to protect the things that i hold dear like every person would. Y'kno, my family, my friends. And to protect them from any sort of danger that i can, be it something from outside or even little things that are clouding up in their heads. Arkhi
That's quite noble. The world could use more of EVERYONE in this thread, honestly. Back on track, that'd be quite taxing on your part, but knowing that you have helped someone is fuel enough to inspire you to do that more and more. I can't count the number of times I've had to stay up late consoling friends who have felt betrayed, loathed, and just miserable. You get to learn a lot from them. Very honorable intentions, those of yours.

anethia
The type of person who's crazy and funny but at the same time wise and serious. What do I mean? very small story; In my childhood most saw me as a stupid idiot that did nothing apart from laugh and make jokes. Then, there was my best friend, who will be called Bob. Bob was very depressed and actually suicidal. They talked to everyone, but nobody helped no matter how hard they tried. Then, the last person they asked was me. Well more like told me they were going to go do something. In a few hours they were back to their normal self because I activated my strangely wise mode, and talked them out of it, and I realised what I wanted to be~. Yay~. Guest
I want to be someone that's loyal, but not dependent. I want to be intelligent, crazy, funny and serious. I want to be someone who stands their ground firmly in what they believe in. I want to be someone who can be open to constructive criticism. I want to be a leader. I want to be a shadow of my former self. I want to be successful, in family and wealth. I want to be a good father in the future, as well as a good husband (if I'm lucky enough) I want to be a noticeable figure by my senpai hahahahahaha shoot me ;~; I want to be helpful, strong and brave. I want to be all of these things, but I guess I can start by being someone of change. So really, to summarize everything I want to be someone that can change myself for the better. Or I try to. Maybe I thought too much into it. It's late here. :I
Equilim
I just wanna be the very best. Like no one ever was. I really just always wanted to be the kind of person who is looked up to by others. The kind of person who parents can look at and tell their children, "Grow up like that man." I guess just being an overall good person is what I'm talking about but I also want success. I want to be someone important in life. As it is I don't think I'm a very responsible person but come September when my apartment lease is up I'll be going off to bootcamp so I guess that'll be the first step to becoming that kind of person. wowireallylovesweaters
This is a really deep question but i like it; I want to save a life. That sounds kind of ridiculous but just one life. I would like to be that person who was the reason someone's life continued on instead of ending. I don't even mean that in a suicidal kind of way necessarily, but anything really!
