Chevaleresse
"So Allen, what can you do?" Might as well be straightforward with them; they've been so with me. "I can warp the spacetime immediately around myself. Basically, it lets me run really fast and teleport short distances. I would demonstrate, but most people aren't fans of being irradiated." He thought for a moment. "Well, I'm not precisely running fast, I'm just compressing space in front of me. . ." Allen trailed off into a ramble about the physics of what he did, not directed at anyone in particular.
Jory
Lux pondered the plan for a moment before responding. A party, huh? For some reason I didn't think we'd be involved in espionage so soon. Then, remembering how he had been chased throughout the city, he grimaced. There's no way any of us could get in there undetected. At least not without disguises. Lux looked back to Cedric. "I think it's a good idea, but we need to be extremely cautious in the planning stages. The longer we as an organization stay undetected by the government, the better chance we have of reaching the Pillar. We can't just strut in and strike up a conversation with this B.O.A guy. They'll be expecting someone to come after him if we've already heard about their new pet project. That might be problematic considering they clearly have some knowledge of what we- or at least I- look like, which was given away by the fact that local cops were after me. I'd assume I'm not the only Awakened to experience the long arm of the law. So we'll need to be invisible to them, at least until we can squeeze some information out of this man. We might even want to make it so he can't remember telling us whatever information he gives us," the young man finished quickly, looking to Sterling for a response. Arkhi
Keaton and Zeus were standing in the hallway, the temperature nearly perfect with the sun breaking through the glass. He couldn't help but grin a bit. Viktor went in with Posiedon and the hallway went quiet. It was nice, actually. No police after him, he stood beside a powerful man who viewed him as an ally, and he was close to being in a position of power. Despite the meditative quality of the room, he couldn't stop thinking about the Pillar."I've got a question," Keaton asked. "Can the Pillar itself do anything? Or does it simply grant us these.. Abilites?" As much as he wanted to take in the serenity of the place, he was unable to put the thought aside.
Ragnar
An organization huh? I've been lots of them and most of them aren't very nice, the fact that I'm hearing this offer from a complete stranger isn't something new to me. Chim
The man gave a warm smile and introduced himself as Lawrence White, which caught Eugene off guard. Most people on the run would give a fake name or some kind of codename. Does that mean he’s not on the run? Or is he not afraid to get caught? Before Eugene could figure it out the man asked him some questions.“No, I don’t know him. It was something about joining them to pure the world or something, I don’t know! I don’t remember much since I tried to run away. That guy just tried to kill me after I ran away from his fri-!” Eugene’s eyes almost popped out of his head after he realized something. “There’s another one! There are at least two of them!”
Shamitako
She sat across the desk from the man, he was going on and on about paperwork or something. He appeared to be the principle of the school. Really she just wanted him to get to his point. At this point, she was considering just spooking him and running. But she still needed to find out how he knew to catch her."...But all I know is that you're posted as a runaway." He said, "And not just any runaway, a dangerous runaway. Now I know you don't have any weapons on you. So tell me, what makes you so dangerous?"He leaned forward as he said this last part, and she saw his hand slip into his desk drawer. Finally, and all that waiting, just to find out he's just some guy who actually cares about a runaway. With all the insanity flying about nowadays, few people even looked at the missing person lists, let alone someone who wasn't a predator of some kind. It could almost be touching, if she cared about that sort of thing. For the first time since the start of the interrogation, Cassidy Willows spoke, "Why don't I show you?"Five words. Five words and the man was screaming in terror. She gave him no time to realize that it was in his head. That all he had to do was resist. She jumped up onto the desk and grabbed the gun he had flipped out of the drawer. It was old, that was bad. Old meant it would make a lot of noise. She had little option though, it wasn't heavy enough for her to break the window with. She pointed it at the window and pulled the trigger. The recoil was far more than she was used to and the gun flew out of her hand as her should drove back into he chin. The window shattered from the force of the shot. The man was already regaining his senses, fighting against her power. She didn't have the time or clarity of mind to overcome him, she just needed to get out. She realized that she was on the floor, the gun must have knocked her clear off the desk. she stood up as quickly as possible, then realized with a fright that the man was crawling towards the gun, which had flown off the the right of the desk. He was almost on it, but she concentrated a bit harder for a moment, and he froze just long enough for her to run over and grab it. In the distance she heard sirens, it was too late, she was caught. But Cassidy wasn't one to surrender, she would find a way. For a moment she considered taking the man hostage, but that would be dumb. Someone could easily sneak around to the side and put a bullet through her head. No, she had to run. And so she did, she threw the gun aside after a short distance, best she not have it on her if they caught her. She ran down the street, ducking into bushes and behind trees as cars came by. Residential streets were the best, lots of places to hide. This would have been much harder were she on a highway. Then the sirens neared, the police cars had lights. She couldn't just duck behind a tree, she needed something more concrete. She ran to the nearest house and hoped that the fence gate wasn't locked. It wasn't and she made her way around back. She sighed with relief and sank to the ground. She sat there for a moment in peace, then noticed something very bad. The sirens had stopped, and the flashing blue and red lights were just outside. One of them must have seen her sneaking in, or worse, the man might have put a tracker on her when he brought her in. She quickly checked over her coat. Nothing was visible, but there was an oddly placed bump on it. She isolated it with her fist and it popped off. But at that point it was too late, the police had come around back and were shining a light in her face. She couldn't stop them. She couldn't neutralize that many adults at once, especially not with how panicked she felt. She dropped the tracker and put up her hands. There was nothing left for her to do, but wait for them to put her to sleep. (OOC: Alrighty Flux, Cassidy awaits a rescue ^^)
Flux
Stratos (((As fun as that would be, that is unfortunately not his power.))) "I have no choice but to assist your group... what type of man would not with so much he held dear at stake...?" The man gave a sly smile. "Oh, you've never had a choice, Anver. I've known of you for quite some time now. This whole operation has been under careful planning since stage one." He pushed up his glasses. "Now, let's get moving. I have great things planned for you." They walked down to the street, where a small but sleek black car awaited. They drove for a long while, exiting the city and entering the countryside. They stopped outside of a forest, where both men got out. The car drove away, leaving them alone once more. The man led Anver down a trail, not clearly visible, but evident once you looked past the overgrown brush. After a short while, they arrived at a small log cabin. They entered the building. The interior contained a table with a few scattered papers on top, a desk in the corner, and a sofa. There was a doorway in back that appeared to lead into another room. The blonde man walked over to the table gesturing for Anver to take a seat. He began to speak, clear and calm. "Now Anver, you may be wondering just why I've picked you to assist us. You see, we need someone with just the sort of talent you have." He smiled, pointing to one of the papers on the table. There was a profile of a man on it, with short blonde hair. "This man belongs to a group that we know only as 'The Organization.' Whether willingly or not, he has interfered with our plans a number of times." He motioned to the paper again. "This paper gives a full profile of him based on what information we've gained from our men inside the Organization. His code name is The Bartender, and he has the ability to freeze things solid." He gave Anver a look. This is one reason why I wanted someone with just your sort of power on this next mission. I know that you are nearly immune to even extreme temperatures. I've received word that the Bartender is set to be attending a dinner party tomorrow night hosted by a government official. The Organization seems to think there will be important information regarding the Pillar there." He frowned. "I am doubtful of this, but your task is to get this 'Bartender' out of our hair once and for all. If possible, find out what you can regarding the supposed information of the Pillar." A man entered through the door. He walked up to the blonde man, an envelope in hand. "Alister," he began, "I've got the invitations you requested. Three for tomorrow night." The blonde man simply frowned at the news. "I thought I told you not to use my name around these sorts of recruits," he stated. The other man's face took on a panicked expression. He bowed, looking at the floor. "I-I'm sorry sir! It will not happen again!" The blonde man's face took on a darker expression. "I'm afraid once is all it will take." The other man looked up, a frightened expression on his face. Alister smiled, the dark expression gone. "Oh well. It is of no consequence." He grabbed the invitation from the man's outstretched hand. "Thank you. You may head back now." The man gave an evident sigh of relief. "Th-Thank you sir. I'll head back right away." As the man left, Alister returned his gaze to Anver. "Questions?" -------------------------------------------- Hukuna "...But it has changed me more to know, that I can never see my family again because I am a monster. I will work with you and your people, but only so long as they are safe, especially from myself." "Do you think that's really how they'd see you?" Ms. Archer said offhandedly. "I think you might be surprised." She waved a hand dismissively. "But your personal affairs are none of my concern. Your family will be protected, that much is for sure." She turned to his wrist. "Your power is much like I have read in the reports. You are very powerful and have potential to become very dangerous. However, you have worked in the government before, and I do not doubt that you could do so again. For my final question... Do you have a preference as to where you work? I could assign you a place on a task force in BOA... the "Bureau on Awakened." It would be similar to your old job, and you could help keep those Awakened deemed dangerous from causiong further harm to themselves or others. Otherwise, I could see if Olympus has any need of your abilities." ------------------------------------------------------------------- King Murdoc Beetle listened intently to Allen's description of the physics behind his power, while Rebecca just stared at Allen with a bored and surprised expression. "Um, excuse me. I think I'll go outside while you guys do your... thing," she interrupted. Nexus waved a hand at the wall, and a portal appeared. Rebecca walked through, and it closed behind her. Beetle sighed. "Some people just don't appreciate the interesting things in life." He smiled at Allen. I suppose we should get you acquainted with the place. Rooms are downstairs..." He paused, seeming to remember something. "Shoot. We don't have enough rooms. I guess I can join Nexus. I have another mattress somewhere here. Besides, when my Grandpa gets back, we can always talk about expanding. It's not a terrible amount of work when we have his ability." He looked at Allen sheepishly. "Don't feel unwelcome, though. We're glad to help anyone we can. It's a tough world for those like us." ----------------------------------------------------------------- K_H "Would you like me to show you what i mean right now, wait until we get back to base to demonstrate, or should i not show my Powers until they're needed?" The Bartender nodded. "We'll be glad to have you. I have no need to see your power now, though the boss might want to when we head back to base." ----------------------------------------------------------------- rustytengo "Well I guess I will join as well. You can call me Wallflower for now until I am sure I can trust ya." The bartender smiled. "Good. Now, if you don't mind me asking, what exactly is your ability? It will be important for the Organization to know, if you want to help to the best of your ability." ------------------------------------------------------ typhlosionrulez "Meh. whatever,I got nothing else better to do. sure man I'll join in your little circus act." The Bartender frowned at his response. "Listen, this is no joke. If you aren't entirely with us, then it'd be best for both of us if you just left. However, if you're willing to give what it takes, we'd definitely welcome you. Your power sounds like quite the asset." ------------------------------------------------------------ Jory Sterling nodded at Lux's response. "All very good points." He appeared deep in thought. "Invisibility and memory restructuring..." he mumbled. "We don't have anyone with those exact abilities..." He paused as his phone began to ring. "Sorry," he mumbled before answering. "Yes, what is it? New recruits... Really? Yes, bring them back here, I'd like to see firsthand what they can do." He returned the phone to his jacket. "It appears we have some new members coming in. Let's put this conversation on hold and go see what they can do." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Arkhidon "I've got a question. Can the Pillar itself do anything? Or does it simply grant us these.. Abilites?" Zeus turned to the young man. He looked like he was caught a little off-guard by the question. "Well..." he began. "I can't really say for sure. I've never been near it myself. I don't think they've let any of the Awakened approach as of yet. Only the highest members of the research team have been inside the wall." He paused. "I do think that it must have some sort of great device powering it, though. After all, that beam of light coming from the top of it never stops shining. It reaches as far into the sky as we can see..." ------------------------------------------------------------------- Chimchain “No, I don’t know him. It was something about joining them to pure the world or something, I don’t know! I don’t remember much since I tried to run away. That guy just tried to kill me after I ran away from his fri-! There’s another one! There are at least two of them!” Lawrence frowned. He looked around the area. "Two, you say? Well, I don't see anybody here..." There was a noise from behind him, and the world went black once more. The effect lasted a few seconds before the light returned. The black haired man from before was nowhere to be seen. "Damn it!" Lawrence said. "I could've sworn he was unconscious..." He turned back to Eugene. "How about we get out of here? I can take you somewhere safe for a while, until you want to leave. I'm sure you've had enough trouble for one day." ---------------------------------------------------------------- Supernovae The sound of sirens went off in the distance. Zweiss looked to Jude. "It seems they've found another with abilities to chase. I feel in a mood to at least take a look." He smiled. "It's not as if they pose a real threat to us, anyway." --------------------------------------------------------- MasterWeavile898 Cassidy stood with her hands in the air, awaiting the police's move. There was a powerful sound, and everyone was thrown to the ground. The noise was hard to describe. It was a loud hum, reflecting the pressure Cassidy could feel against her body. Try as she might, she could not push herself off of her stomach, where she lay on the ground. The police officers appeared to be in the same situation, struggling against the invisible weight thrown upon them. From the position of her head, she could see three figures walk into the scene. There was a tall man in a dark cloak, with a scar on his left cheek. He had a rugged appearance, but looked dangerous all the same. He walked next to another man, in a long blue coat, embroidered with fancy golden designs. He had a regal bearing, holding his head high as he strode among the fallen officers. His dark brown hair reached his shoulders in the back, and was parted to the sides in front, where long bangs fell over the sides of his face. There was a small girl behind him, her long black hair tied back in a ponytail. Her face bore a blank expression, her bright violet eyes reflecting no emotion. She wore a purple dress. The man in blue walked up to Cassidy. He extended a hand, and she found that the pressure holding her down was gone. He gave a warm smile as he helped her up. "So you're the one they were after this time." he said. He had a powerful voice that commanded authority. It was smooth, and there was an undertone of kindness to it. "What is your name?" Arkhi
"That beam of light coming from the top of it never stops shining. It reaches as far into the sky as we can see..." So even the most powerful person Keaton has met didn't know about it. That was disappointing."A device powering it, huh..?" Going through his basic knowledge of circuitry and electronics, he could come up with countless different responses to what he heartd: If it affects so many people, is it overcharged? What sort of current runs through it? If there is a resistance in it, could it be targeted and redirected?Thinking about the unknown wouldn't help him out much. Instead, he turned to look out the glass walls, wondering what would happen next.

Shamitako
Cassidy suddenly felt the air knocked out of her as she was thrown to the ground. There was an agitating hum buzzing in her ears. At first she thought it was from the impact of hitting the ground, but quickly came to realize it was external. Everything was a blur as she struggled to no avail. Then suddenly it was gone. she lifted her head to find a man reaching out to help her up. She grabbed his arm and he easily raised her to her feet. She looked him over. He seemed far too clean for this place. Unlike his dangerous looking friend. But the one that really struck her, was the girl in the purple dress. Something about her made Cassidy feel a certain kinship to her. It could have been the emotion in her eyes, or it could have just been the fact that she was wearing Cassidy's favorite color, purple. She too looked far too clean. It suddenly registered in Cassidy's mind that her name had been asked. She was wary as she spoke, "As thankful as I am for your rescue, I hope you'll forgive me if I decide to keep my identity sec-"She stopped as the girl caught her eye. That feeling of kinship returned. Something told her she should trust these people, they had saved her life after all. For the moment, she would not hold back."Actually, no." She said, still wary, "My name is Cassidy Willows. Who are you?"Her mind was starting to work again. And she realized that one of these people must have some power, like hers. Maybe all of them did. She decided that, whether she trusted them or not, it was best to try to stay on their good side. then it occurred to her how quickly they had found her, almost as quickly as the police. Had they hijacked the trackers' signal? Were they from the school? Had they been tracking her separately? For all Cassidy knew, they might have been following her for months, waiting for an opportunity to earn her trust. the thought caused her throat to swell as she tried to hold back a gulp, panic beginning to enter her mind. Her body urging her to run or to kill. But she maintained her outward self-control. The fear did not even reach her eyes. She blinked and time seemed to slow. She used that time to concentrate and slow her heart rate and breathing, forcing her body to calm. By the time her eyes reopened, she was as calm inwardly as she was out. Supernovae
Jude patiently waited behind the master of gravity as he made short work of the police. And introduced himself to the girl. Her name was Cassidy and Jude could see she was not like most of the awakened who were still children. There was a darkness to the girl, something unseen. Perhaps in her tone or in her bitten up finger nails or just the look in her eyes. Whatever it was, Jude couldn't quite place it. But to him, despite being able to see through her calm demeanor, she was one of God's chosen people and hopefully a future ally. While Jude was lost in thought looking at the girl he noticed one of the officers pushing madly at there arms in an attempt to reach his gun. Jude slowly approached the officer who was still madly pushing, despite little success, to reach his gun. "You pathetic worm," Jude said as he reached for his blade. The officers eyes opened wide, and then closed. Jude pulled the sword from between the officers eyes, which was now crimson with blood. He then looked around at the remaining officers as any movement they may have had prior to that had ceased entirely. Jude smirked and turned back to watch the recruitment of Cassidy. Is that your power, hmm? To find out peoples secrets." Beverly said teasey "Well i guess it can't be helped. Chevaleresse
Allen laughed. "Yeah, I know what you mean. Pity people don't enjoy physics all that much. Anyway though, if I haven't mentioned it yet, I should tell you that using my ability has a bit of a drawback. It's pretty minor if I'm just warping a little bit, but places get rather radioactive when I rip open wormholes. I think you'll understand why I don't want to casually demonstrate it." He suddenly yawned. "I'm tired, though, so I think I'll take that mattress. Could you point me in the general direction?"
Sutoratosu
Anver walked over to the table in silence, taking the profile in his hands and beginning to thumb through it... there was no point putting up any protest for now... he already knew he had no choice but to co-operate... he didn't really want to kill this "Bartender" fellow though... he felt a strange kinship with him... maybe it was the ability similarity... though Anver pushed that thought aside... the safety of his family on the line right now... and if he had to, Anver would've killed a bus-load of elderly folk in order to keep his family safe, no question about it. he placed the profile on the table, looking at the man who had brought him here, his name Alister, apparently, though judging from his reaction just now, Anver thought it best not to refer to the man by his name. Snap Crackle Pop
Alice was listening to the conversation intently but she didn't say much aside from the occasional 'huh' or 'hmm'. She took off her bag and held it by her feet part way though the explaination, for her shoulders were getting sore. The way it bore Rachel briefly reminded her of how physics bore her sister, but she quickly refocused herself. Well then, she thought, the radiation kind of takes the fun out of it, imaging all the hell one could raise with the ability to manipulate wormholes. A slight grin flickered on her face at the thought but it quickly died down at the mention of sleep. Having not slept for more than a few hours at a time, it would be great to have somewhere to sleep without concern of being found. "Actually, same here. Sleep would be great," she said. I had the impression from Hades that was what I was being recruited for anyway." Ms. Archer nodded. "An understandable sentiment." She paused, appearing to think something over. Eventually she spoke again. "...So it was Hades you spoke to?" She sighed. "I'm sorry about that. He couldn't have been terribly polite. I'm surprised he managed to get you to agree to come here..." She frowned. "I can't say I have much trust in Hades. He's a bit cracked, as I'm sure you noticed. Still, with his level of power, there's not much we can do but try to keep him on our side..." She waved a hand. "That's all for now. I'll speak with Zeus and Poseidon about getting you a place in Olympus." Poseidon moved from his place by the door to escort Viktor out. As they exited, Zeus led Keaton inside, switching places with the other pair. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Arkhidon Zeus gave Keaton a gentle nudge as Poseidon and Viktor walked out. "Looks like it's your turn." He gave a reassuring smile as he led the young man in, taking place by the door once they were inside. Lydia Archer turned to face Keaton as he entered. She motioned to the chair. "Please, have a seat." She looked him over for a while, before eventually speaking. "You're still rather young, aren't you..." she mumbled. She sat up straighter, a more businesslike expression coming over her face. "Keaton Aome, correct? He disappeared with them in pairs, just as earlier. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Jory Cedric stood slowly. He looked more tired than he had before, perhaps from the stress of what he did. He motioned to Lux, standing at attention. "Please, there's no need for that. I'm just a man, after all." He led Lux out the door and back down the hallway until arriving at an elevator. He hit the button for the basement. As they exited the elevator, they found themselves in a large open room, completely bare. Cedric walked out, Lux following behind. He walked to the middle of the room before stopping. He looked at the watch on his wrist. "It shouldn't be long before Blue arrives..." Almost as if on cue, there was a flash of blue light as Blue appeared with two other people. He quickly disappeared, giving Lux a chance to closely observe the two. One of them was a fairly young man, perhaps in his late twenties, with short blonde hair. He wore a checkered green and white vest over a pale brown long-sleeved shirt. He had khaki pants and formal black shoes. This man nodded at Cedric as he arrived. The other man who had arrived had red hair, and a pair of headphones dangled from his neck. He appeared to be in his mid thirties, and was in very good shape. He wore a motorcycle jacket and jeans. Seconds later, Blue returned with two more people. One was a tall and thin young man with short brown hair. He was wearing a turquoise shirt and bracelet with blue jeans. The other was a young woman, probably in her late teens or early twenties. She had a Japanese look to her, with shoulder-length black hair and a black dress. Cedric nodded back to the man who had nodded to him. The man walked forward and spoke. "Sir, these are the new recruits. They have a variety of powers, though the girl's may prove especially useful..." Cedirc nodded his thanks. He turned to Lux. "Lux, this is a member of our organization known as 'The Bartender'. He was one of our first members, and I trust him wholeheartedly." He turned to the bartender. "This is Lux. He will be serving as an advisor of sorts to me, so I expect that you will give him your utmost respect." The Bartender nodded, turning to Lux and extending a hand. He spoke in a deep voice. "It's nice to meet you. Hopefully we will have a chance to get better acquainted later." Cedric Sterling spoke to the new arrivals. "Now, welcome, all of you, to the Organization. My name is Cedric Sterling, and I am the leader of this group. It is an honor to know that you are all interested in helping us to reach the Pillar." He paused, looking each of them over. "Now, as you probably could guess, I would like to know what each of you can do." He smiled. "An explanation and small demonstration will serve just fine. Just be careful not to cause any damage, if that is your sort of ability." ------------------------------------------------------------- Stratos "Do you want his death to be discreet or public?" Alister shrugged. "I'll leave that to your discretion. Do what you need to, given the situation. However..." A malicious smile came over his face. "...know that if anything may go wrong concerning me or Utopia, your family's life hangs in the balance. Keep that in mind." He laughed as he walked towards the door. He looked back over his shoulder as he exited. "You can spend the night here. A car will be back tomorrow night to take you to your destination. Do all you need to prepare, but make sure you're ready to go when the time comes. Beds are in the other room." With that, he left, the door closing behind him. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Chimchain “I’ll come with you, but where are we going?” Lawrence answered as they walked away. The sun was nearly set over the city. "We're going to a small forest near the outskirts of the city. I have a base of sorts there. Nobody will harm you inside." They walked for a long time, eventually reaching the forest. The sun had set a short while ago. They walked a path for a while, before eventually turning off into the brush. They came across an old monument, covered in moss and vines. A butterfly landed on top, looking at the two for a short while, before a portal appeared on the stone. "Here we are." -------------------------------------------- Snap Crackle Pop and Kind Murdoc "I'm tired, though, so I think I'll take that mattress. Could you point me in the general direction?" "Actually, same here. Sleep would be great." Beetle nodded at both of them. "Sure thing. Beds are downst-" His sentence was cut off as his eyes lost their focus. They took on a dull color for a short time before returning to normal. He shook his head. "Sorry about that. My grandpa's here with another newcomer. Must be fate," he joked. Another portal opened in the side wall, and two men strode through. The first was clearly Beetle's grandfather, looking to be in his fifties or sixties. He was in great shape for his age, standing tall and strong. He had a clean-shaven face with short cropped, well-kept grey hair. The younger man following him must have been the newcomer. Beetle's grandfather smiled upon seeing him. "Bryan, I'm glad to see everything is all right." He looked at Alice and Allen. "I see we have quite a few new members in our little group." He gave them a welcoming smile. "We're glad to help any we can." Beetle gave a friendly nod to his grandfather before he spoke again. "As I was saying, rooms are downstairs. Allen, you can have my room for now. It's the first on the left. I can sleep in Nexus's room. Alice, you'll be in the guest room, all the way down on the left." Bryan's grandfather spoke up. "Eugene, you can have my room until I get things expanded. It's the last one on the right. I'll sleep on the couch up here." He gave them all a look. "It's getting fairly late. You should all get acquainted with each other. Stay up as long as you want. I'll be going to sleep soon, though." -------------------------------------------------------------------- MasterWeavile898 and Supernovae "My name is Cassidy Willows. Who are you?" "My name is Zweiss," he responded. "I lead a group known as Utopia. We seek a better world for all of those gifted with abilities." He turned to the man next to him. "This is Jude. I am proud to say that he has just joined us today." He noticed her looking at the girl behind him. "I see you've taken an interest in Kiri. She is my personal helper, and much like a little sister that I have sworn to look after." He motioned her forward. Kiri stepped out from behind him, with the same expressionless face as always. She spoke in a monotonous voice. "Hello."
K_H
"An explanation and small demonstration will serve just fine. Just be careful not to cause any damage, if that is your sort of ability." "All right, I'll go first. here's what My Power is: Manipulation of an Electromagnetic Field that is given off by all living things: Aura. I've only been able to do three things with the Field, though." and with that, Kenny faced towards an empty area of the Room that was visible to the Group, put his palms in front of him so that they were facing away from himself, and focused. A thin Beam of Aqua-colored Light then appeared to start at his hands, go on for ten feet, and then quickly fade away. "That was one aspect, on to the next." Then, he put his hands together, pulled them apart a few inches, and focused again. This time, a small, Turquoise-colored sphere appeared between his hands. Kenny then made the Sphere go away from him for a bit, then return a little ways, and finally orbit him. As the Sphere orbited him, he spoke aloud. "As you can see, I have a much greater degree of control over the Sphere compared to the Beam." Then, he made the Sphere Dissipate by sending it out beyond his range, where it quickly faded away. "And now, the last Aspect of my power, and the first one that I discovered." with that, Kenny crossed his arms in front of him, and focused. a Teal-colored Barrier formed around him, just beyond his arms, in an Egg-shaped form where the pointier end faced upwards. It faded away a short time afterwards. "That Barrier saved me from a Foul Ball that was headed right at me in a Baseball Game." Arkhi
The office room was neat and clean. Right up Keaton's alley. The madame there- Ms. Archer, Poseidon earlier referred to her as- looked him over, as if trying to find something significant. He was nothing special outside of his mind, so he lightly winced at this. "Yes, that is my name. And no, I wasn't always so quick-witted as I find myself now. Though, this new transformation is linked to The Pillar that rose recently. Between the time it was erected, my father's arrest, and my allure to the entity itself, I cannot think of any other reason. The Pillar changed me," he said simply.Keaton looked around, taking notice of small, yet pivotal objects. If things went south, he could act in response. Ragnar
"An explanation and small demonstration will serve just fine. Just be careful not to cause any damage, if that is your sort of ability." Ace performs a slow clap as he has seen Kenny's ability "Well done, manhole guy. errh.. Kenny. offensive and defensive display of your ability, i see." "I guess i'm next in this show and tell.. time to get loose." Ace walks in front on the given space and stretches his arms. Air was suck into the area as he dashes in a blur leaving a fairly loud thunderous sound and followed by a strong wind as Ace returns to the group. "Did you see that?" the speedster cockily said. "by the way mr.Cedric, nice watch" said Ace with a playful grin as he dangles the watch in his hand. Raindrop Valkyrie
"I assume you have an armory around this place somewhere." Viktor said to Poseidon. "My pieces are a bit outdated, need some new kit. I can't willy nilly throw my power around, it was real costs to me and everyone around, so it is Important I have good equipment."
