I've heard about a new Battlefield game as well, but I'm not following that story, so all I can certainly say is that ME2 is going to make an appearance. Okay, the things I actually care about, in order of the list: FE stage. =3 Nice and flat at first. Hope it doesn't transition too quickly. Curtain Call--- Fuck yeah, they added a lot more music and added a sort of adventure mode to it instead of just the tri-song series mode and dark theater 2 song challenge mode. I like how they put more variety in the music use and backgrounds to make it very particular for each piece of music and their context and just more animation in there from the original games. =3 KH 2.5 HD remix-- the trailer really brings back the feels and the memories and reminds me that I still have work to do on the 1.5 HD remix. Borderlands the Prequel- the laser and low gravity and space fighting is new, and not all that exciting to me, but it still looks like a blast. I just hope the intelligent humor of BL2 manages to find its way back and into this new game. Mortal Kombat X- it showcases a lot of the things you can probably do during gameplay, such as actually use the stage in multiple ways and returning mechanics and features like armed kombat, x-ray vision inducing brutal moves, etc. The classic Sub-Zero vs Scorpion fight seems to indicate that this is yet another remake/revision of the orginal plot line. (and a return to the way they totally underplay the original Sub-Zero's badassitude that is showcased in MK Mythologies, which is prequel canon stuff and SZ kills scorpion and then beats him again in the Netherealm). Which is something that is practically confirmed. My issue with the new borderlands is that the cast of playable characters don't look that interesting to me... I am just looking forward to what ever they accounce about smash and seeing every freak out again. (Also there will be a new BattleField game, I am almost 100% sure of that, as I think it is a yearly thing now.) Should also be mentioned that the Xbone without Kinect actually runs better as it uses a lot less of the processor etc, I can look up exactly how much better it runs without it, but it does run better without the kinect always on. (like maybe Watch dogs on it wouldn't have had to be done at 791p at 30 FPS, and would have been were the PS4 version is at 900p 30 FPS [and don't start on how it was supposed to be 1080p 60 FPS, I have talked to death about that to people already lol XD.]). EIther way, consoles are so bloody behind PCs now......like these "next gen" console can still barely deal with things PCs can handle even on lower spec machines. Honestly, I think the desire 'for better graphics' by Nintendo has hurt far more than helped, as it kind of overlooked the mechanics and physics in the games that make them fun- and here I'm specifically looking at the DKC and yoshi's island game reboots where the physics feels different from the original, affecting control and the visual changes make everything ludicrously cartoony. Oh and the cat eyed wind waker Link. 'cell shading' my ass. Which reminds me, I hate the terrible chibi things they're coming out with for Persona and Curtain Call, but obviously I'm going to overlook that for the sake of how great the other aspects of the games are going to be. Godot Posted June 7, 2014 Author Share Posted June 7, 2014 I have a hard time enjoying Wind Waker's visuals for the same reason. Some games are difficult to enjoy if it looks like shit imo. I also couldn't play Bravely Default because I hated the animation and Artstyle. It is my personal Preferance... Best Cell shaded games imo were No More Heroes and Okami.
