Circus Puzzles

I notice that the puzzles in Agate Circus are switch upside and side to side. How do I get them in the right position to complete the puzzles? I noticed you can win the HM Dive from this and I might need this in the future. How do I switch them around? (Notice: I am talking about the images on each piece, not how to move the puzzles around, ok?)

It took me a while too, because there is no reminder... if you hit SHIFT the tile you have selected will turn around.

Works on the HM Dive and the Fossil-Puzzles since the Timburr-Puzzle has another mechanic.

The Tiles must be correct! If they fit perfectly but it doesn't get solved, your pieces are lying incorrectly (like tilted one to far or something like that... this was my Problem with Carracosta the first time^^)

The Image you need (for reference) is in the folder 'Graphics'->'Pictures' -> 'Tile Puzzles' (look for HMDive / Carracosta / Archeops)

Edit:

Wow... did I really typed CTRL??? I meant Shift!!! (just edited it)

God... I didn't sleep well tonight... SORRY!!!

Thanks for Lealush for pointing that out... damn... I guess I need to take another nap...

Trial and error? Uhm sure.

sdrawkcaB >> tratnaiveD There's your tip answer. It's not even a tip, i'm giving away the puzzle.

When you rotate the tiles, you'll notice sometimes the tile stay in the same direction even after the rotation. When you see the repeat direction, rotate the tile once more. The tile now has the correct orientation. This will prevent you from "solving" the puzzle, but with the entire puzzle rotated, and hence not count.

Vinny, you are simply killing me here. (But then again I finished the puzzle and can't be asked to try and find the method again so yeahhhh.... Breed Ditto and Gurdurr time.)

Can anyone tell me how to complete it,cuz i miss it always for one piece and i want that timburr

What exactly do you need to know?

Cuz i wasn't lying before: Based on a guy's post (Forgot his name), you won't be able to complete it everytime you start it. There are certain combinations that work, and you need to get "The Right Combination".

i put all pieces in the right order except one piece.if i try to put the last piece in the right order the rest of the puzzle is ruined.I have tried this many times and it has become frustrating

Sorry to say, but there isn't an "exact way" to figure that puzzle.

The only way would be if you get the same starting combination as mine, and then you'd follow my steps from there.

But to be honest, that would be kinda hard. Your best bet is save in front of the puzzle thing, and keep resetting if you can't figure out.

holy lord arceus i got an combination and completed in 4 or 5 moves!!!

Told ya. "You've got the riiiiiiiiiight combination!~"

I don't know what combination i got, but i remember that this is what i did: Started from the top right, and clicked each piece once. Somehow i managed

I was stuck at the ICP puzzle for a solid hour, trying to puzzle out a manual algorithm based off of numbers in a grid. I soft reset, and decided to try and figure it out again, and three moves later I had one Timburr with 4 nearly perfect IVs and 2 above average IVs.

I hate the ICP family though. They disgust me and I always have my Gardevoir snuff the life out of them when I'm fighting against them.

Here's a serious question though; is the strength tester linked to the attack stat of your pokemon at all, or is it just a random value that you have to keep trying until you win?

That's a... good question.

I'm pretty sure that it's random, but i'm going to try with different pokes in front and see if that results in something.

It is a random number and got nothing to do with your pokemon

Yep. I also thought at first the pokemon infront influenced it, but then realized the randomness after many failed attempts.

Enough testing is enough.

There's no "pattern" (For the lack of a better word), so you guys are probably right, it's as random as it gets.

Well crap. Thanks for confirming.

Could anybody tell me whether the TM prize is worth it to go for?

When Ame adds Klefki, you may want that. Just for safe keeping.

inb4 Klefki in episode 13.

No seriously. Prankster + Swagger combo. Throw a Thunder Wave together and... banned.

You're all missing the point. Meowstic is already in the game. Give it Swagger+Prankster and you can already put that to use :) Have fun with that
