A quick Q&A!

Hey everyone, it's Dashie!

Some of you may be wondering why I haven't updated the Reborn guide much as of late, I have some reasons as to why I did/could not update and I'd just like to share with the community what exactly has been going on the past few weeks. I don't intend to make this look like I'm pitiful or lazy, I just feel the need to share some things that have happened;

- My beloved great-grandmother passed away on May 30th, so the past week has been quite hell for me, as my family has decided in a split-second that they would all go down to South-America on the day they found out, and left the very next morning. Unfortunately, I was unable to join the trip due to insufficient funds, as I'm literally working to just barely pay off my bills at the moment.

- My girlfriend broke her right leg whilst working, so I panicked when she called me from the hospital. Her leg's in a firm cast, but I'd still like to spend as much time with her as possible in difficult times, as it's hard for her to move around with crutches and whatnot.

- The forums being down has also been a smack to the face, and I just waited for things to go up, without actually playing Reborn and making progress.

- Motivation was very far to seek after the first two events.

- I've gotten ahold of my girlfriend's 3DS and I bought Pokémon Y. >>;

What does this all mean for the guide, you ask?

Q: Will you be continuing the guide?

A: Yes, I will. I'm continuing where I left off the guide, but I'm making progress in Reborn itself (E11) before I update chunks on the guide.

Q: What episode will you be playing/using for the guide?

A: Since I'm about halfway through Episode 11, I'm going to continue with the guide in Episode 11 and base all the events and whatnot off Episode 11.

Q: When will Episode 12's guide be released?

A: Once I finish Episode 11, I'll duplicate my savefile for that and create a fresh playthrough for Episode 12.

Q: Will you replace Episode 11's guide with a new guide?

A: No, I'll be replacing Episode 11's events/encounter lists with those of Episode 12. So whatever is in the guide as of this date is all from Episode 11.

Q: Pinkie Pie or Rainbow Dash?

A: Can I has both?

Thanks for your patience, I greatly appreciate the support and hopefully I can work around getting the guide done as soon as possible!

A video-walkthrough is scheduled for the summer, if I can get a better laptop to record Reborn with, as well as better equipment/software for editing..

My sympathies for the rough patch you've been going through lately mate. Don't feel pressured by the guide, it's all voluntary so get it done (or don't) whenever you feel like it. It is a really good resource though, so from that perspective I'd be glad to see more.

That's dedication right here. You could simply say: "I didn't update the guide cuz life", but instead you explained everything that happened. Like Sheep said, it's all voluntary. Life comes first, always. unless your name is vinny and you don't have a life i mean what

A working man never rests, Vinny. n__n I've actually uploaded a test video a while back but the quality was terribad.. And I do plan on voice commentary when I do my walkthrough.

It's not really pressure, but E12 was released a lot quicker then I expected it to be. :x

But really, if you feel pressured by the guide or anything else feel free to take a break. Or ask for help. A lot of us here like that sorta thing where we find everything about Pokemon Reborn so I know members will be able to help you on your guide.

No need to rush yourself to finish the guide, you should take a break and enjoy yourself. Like Cow just said, you can always ask others for help if needed. Hope everything goes well with you and your gf.

I'm not very good at encouraging people but i hope everything will be alright with your gf (and life in general), your guide is very good so keep it up (if you want eh) and...good luck...i guess.
