Lealush
I prefer using the Astrae, since Unown don't fling stupidly overpowered Thrashes into my face at every opportunity. Route 2 would work if I weren't reasonably sure that the Crustle would be very much the same case, only with Rock Wrecker (not to mention Shell Smash and Sturdy). There is the odd super-effective Hidden Power to worry about, but even those usually don't hit as hard. Plus, the Unown give a mixture of Attack and Special Attack EVs, meaning you're likely to get at least some investment in your main choice of attacking stat. If I'm assuming you care about EVs in the first place. I like the Arcues place but I still find you don't receive much exp there compared to buffs but I might be wrong Ill have to check or some 1 show me the exp difference. Foamy
Well, first you press one thing against another thing, and then you move one of those things up and down in a rhythmic motion... ;DIn all seriousness, though, I've never really needed to grind anything. I just fight a few high-level trainers, and I'm mostly caught up.
TheGreninja
You always get a clean 1800 and something from the Bouffalant and with Unown you only get more than that if the Unown you encounter is level 75+ so I usually go for the first. In other news I can't seem to go back any further dates in my calender for the grand hall trainers. I haven't battled them before on that day and they say what they say when you beat them? Darkforce35
I just battle the trainers in the Grand Hall. Just change the date on your computer and they'll refresh so you can battle them again. Hell of a way to get money as well. When i went and changed the date on my computer backwards, it only gave me new trainers for like a week's worth, then they just said I had already battled them. Any reason for this?

Darkforce35
Still no change when exiting the hall and returning, even tried changing date while outside... trainers older than 1 week won't battle again
Milotic
Still no change when exiting the hall and returning, even tried changing date while outside... trainers older than 1 week won't battle again Try chaning the date by skipping far ahead not backwards For ex: if today is 7/30/14 skip to 8/3/14 you should be able to battle trainers for that whole week and continue the process, just remember the dates you have used up already or you may encounter problems like the one you have now. Darkforce35
That seems to work better, thanks!
OLKv2
I will not lie. If I wanted a new party member, I'd rare candy them up to my lowest lv'd party member's level
TheRockGhost72
If you are looking for a quick way to grind I only know of one that truly allows time to fly. I have been playing the game from the eighth episode so my teams of Pokemon just naturally grew but a Youtuber by the name of Nickaboo introduced a new fast way to train your pokes. He used a program called cheat engine that enables the game to move up to 10 times faster without any problems. This makes grinding a breeze. I'm not sure how to use it but there is a thread on this site where he explains. As far as location, route 1 and route 2 are good places for late game grinding. TheRockGhost72
I would not call it cheating because all i suggested using it for was to increase speed. I'd be like if you could grind in 1/5 of the time. Besides there are forums that suggest this already which, for the most part, received all positive feedback. If someone were to use the cheat engine program in a different way then that's the shame they would have to deal with. Ame even sped up the game naturally because it was too slow. I was told the cheat engine speed hack make grinding enjoyable. That's a new concept that many wish were in all Pokemon games. I was just trying to help. I personally don't mind people speeding up exp grinding, I must've only seen the bad ones. Sorry for that... Just ignore what I put...
