"Mia, I'm here!" Ixidor welcomed Mia. "Well, she's one of my creation, you inspire me in creating her; she's here to protect me." Ixidor said.The angel steps forward and lights up her fiery sword while it hangs lazily, she looks at the succubus with disapproval and turns her head to the young artist behind her. "Who is she is? is she a threat?" Kayle said. "Wait!No!" Ixidor slid forward the angel breaking the tension between Kayle and Mia.

"sorry,she can be overprotective sometimes, anyways now that we're here,as promise lets escape this circle together."Ixidor said to Mia.

Annie just watched as everyone just walked in, not bothering to go in together.

Of course, why would they go in a team? Everybody's selfish and only wants things for themselves. They want the prize. Well, too bad for them, If they're going to be like that, so am I. Annie thought to herself. Her "friends" had abandoned each other and just walked on ahead with no thought for safety.

She walked up to the door, and pushed it open furiously, stepping into the greenhouse.

Mr Taylor

Mr.Taylor found himself on the jungle, no gate behind him and alone again. He was near something that once should have been a beautiful fountain, which still poured water despite being in ruins. Pieces of it were on the ground and looking at them the old archeologist could make the form of a serpent bitting an apple.

That's when he heard a voice coming from a branch over him, the was the kind of voice that sounded at the same time inviting and dangerous.

"Hey, so you're one of the other new faces my brother told me about..." There was the red haired woman that Marcus found before. She looked at mister Taylor with a disappointed expression and sighed. "Aah, why did I have to get the old guy?"

====================================================

Ixidor

Mia was startled when Kayle lighted her sword and took a step back, screaming. Then she calmed down and stared at the painter and his creation with some uncertainty in her eyes. "Uhn well, this is weird but... It's okay I guess." Then she managed a faint smile. "If she's your creation Ix, I think I can trust her."

===================================================

Ethic

A girl's scream sounded, and by the looks of it Ethic and Lucian whre now close to their target.

=====================================================

Ellaria & Enya

Ellaria listened foot steps going in the direction of the greenhouse. They were light - unlike the men's steps - so she thought it was Rose, probably thinking they'd already got in. She was suddenly afraid that she and Enya would be alone out there, so she grabbed the little girl by her hand and raced to the gates at full speed, crashing on the person while they crossed the gate.

====================================================

Annie

Annie was hit by the girls in the exact moment she was crossing the gate, and so the three of them got on the same place - an earthen path in the middle of the jungle.

===================================================

Kenny, Byron & Quincy

Just after the girls had entered the greenhouse a laugh could be heard outside it, and Quincy swung through with the rope the group left for Kenny. "Haha! Perfect! Now I can play hide and seek with them, guess that'll be a great place for an ambush!" he said in his maniac voice, while rushing through the gate.

Just after him was Byron. The man stepped near Kenny - still fainted - and sighed. "What, now they left a companion behind? What's with these guys?" Throwing the young man over his shoulder, he swung the same way Quincy did and stopped before the gate. I'd better hurry and try to warn them Quincy is inside... he thought to himself while stepping in, carrying Kenny.

Phantom looked around at his new surroundings. Tall trees and plants grew all around him, twisting in menacing patterns. The gate had disappeared behind him, leaving him with only one path forward. He could hear the sound of rushing water ahead, so without much choice, he began moving forward.

Rose reached the entrance to the greenhouse slightly annoyed. "Most places have more than one entrance," she grumbled in her new monotone. "Whatever, time to get going." As she walked into the greenhouse, she suppressed the small sorrow that pierced her heart. /Ellaria and Enya are inside,/ she thought, before mentally slapping herself. /GOOD! I don't want to hurt either of them./

"We should slow down!" Lucian called out as he sprinted behind Ethic as they moved closer and closer to where the scream had come from, his words getting lost in the wind whistling by as he ran "Our footsteps are so loud at this point that anyone will be able to hear us coming from miles away!"

Ethic slowed down and finally stopped as he came to a fork in the path, looking each way, trying to focus on which direction the sound had Originated from. "And you think that yelling that to me is gonna make us any less quieter?" he asked rhetorically in Lucian's mind as he headed of down the path to his left, determining that the girl's scream had been further down it. "Use your head, man." he continued "We can talk with our thoughts, so there's no reason to give away our position by yelling out at each other." Lucian stopped in his tracks behind him. Ethic noticed immediately and turned around as the other man addressed him a bit suspiciously.

"What's going on with you?" he asked a bit demandingly "Ever since Minos told everyone about the whole prize thing at the bottom, You've started acting strangely." Ethic seemed to frown for a moment.

"If you think that I actually still give a damn about the prize down here," he began "then that proves that you don't know me, Lucian. Me and the others are in this literal hell hole together, and if any of us want to get out, want to make it back to the world above, then that means we can't allow ourselves to become petty and start competing over who gets the damn prize."

Lucian crossed his arms, a look of pure skepticism on his face "Then why did you leave the others?" he asked "If what you just said is really motivating you is true, then why is it just you and I right now? why didn't you wait at the entrance for the others so that we could all go in together?" Ethic opened his mouth to answer, but Lucian kept going, cutting him off before he could say anything "You may say that you don't care about it, but I know that's a lie. The only reason you even considered coming to this place at all was because you heard that there was some power lying at the bottom, isn't it? what you really care about at the end of the day is being able to save your families legacy, back when I could read you like a book, I could tell that much about you." Ethic was Scowling by the time Lucian had finished speaking, his hands flared white for a moment, then were engulfed in a multi-hued light for a moment before he managed to stop himself from envoking the Death Link in his anger. he spoke slowly as he began to edge closer to Lucian little by little.

"So what are you getting at, Lucian?" he asked rhetorically in response "That because that was my primary motivation for entering this place at all, that it's all I really care about now? Because that's just Fucking insulting to me." he was now just a foot or two away from him "My family may have been wealthy at one point, but I've said it before and I'll say it again; Trust is more important than cash could ever be!" He started to raise his voice without even knowing it, to the point where he was screaming in Lucian's face now. "There's far more important matters That I'm focused on now instead of what I came here for: one of which being the prospect that none of us may be able to get out of here at all, and another being that there's twenty super powered beings who want me not only dead, but completely wiped from the face of the earth!" Lucian uncrossed his arms and spoke calmly.

"Go ahead and preach about that all you want, Ethic." he began "About how trust is important and we can't let ourselves be distracted down here, but the evidence supports my argument; you've changed since we first arrived in this garden. maybe what you said was true back in the Library, but you're not the same person now, I can tell. Now you're focused on furthering your own goals, it's all written plain as day in that glint in your eyes. you've started to only care about yourself."

Ethic balled his fist at this ludicrous accusation. it was complete bullshit, plain and simple. Hell, if anything, he was thinking more about the group now than he was himself. the only reason he hadn't waited for everyone to regroup was... well it should've been obvious, especially to Lucian of all people; The Keepers were after him, and even further, him and them were apparently officially at war with each other, so what sense would it make for him to needlessly endanger the other's lives by having them in his company in the case that the council decided to attack again tonight. this red moon seemed to keep them away for the most part, but what if their were other keepers like Maxwell or Scott, Keepers who weren't effected by it? and even besides, the moon wouldn't stay up for ever, the sun would still rise, day would still come, even if for a few hours before dusk fell again. and in those few very opportune hours in which the keepers would be able to hunt after him without fear of being weakened, why wouldn't him and anyone with him be attacked? Ethic ground his teeth as he glared silently at Lucian. it was all because of this apparent war that almost everything he had done since he'd gotten here had been to either defend himself from a serious threat or was for the betterment of the group's chances down here, and to hear Lucian, someone who he had thought to be the only other person on his side in this fight he was in, the only one who he could talk to about anything relating to it without being thought of as crazy, accuse him of having any ulterior motives was... well, to Ethic, it was just infuriating.

"I thought that you of all people would understand my position, Lucian" He said, snarling a little as he said his name "But I guess I was wrong, I can't even rely on you for support..." he turned around and glanced off down the path, deciding what he was going to say next "fine then," he continued "If you think that I'm nothing but a selfish prick now, that I'm only looking out for me, myself, and I, then... just go, get away from me and this place. you made it clear you hate those kinds of people when you left the other keepers to side with me, so don't be a hypocrit now..." Lucian was a bit dumbfounded by this... he hadn't been expected for Ethic to tell him to leave, he had just wanted to address the changes he'd been noticing lately. he was considering what he'd respond with when Ethic scoffed and spoke up again "Actually, no. It's not a choice, Keeper," he spat the word as if it were an insult, that it was meant to remind Lucian of what he would always be at the end of the day; just another damn keeper, one without real power right now, but still one besides. Ethic turned around, staring him straight in the eyes "It's obvious you don't trust me, so why the hell should I give my trust to you?" he held his arm out, pointing with his finger back the way they had came, not allowing Lucian to say anything as he continued "I thought you were different, but you're really just another Keeper when push comes to shove, so Just leave, Now. I'll fight this whole damn war on my own, and it's not like you've been that helpful so far anyway." Lucian stared back down the path to the gates in silence, then glanced back to Ethic. he could see the resolve in his eyes, this conversation was done... there was probably nothing he could say to change his mind. he stood there motionless for a few seconds until Ethic grabbed him by the arm and shoved him roughly, sending him stumbling down the path and almost falling on his face before he could catch himself and regain balance. he got up and stared back at him over his shoulder, a look of partial shock and anger...and maybe even a bit of fear on his face, though Ethic didn't know for sure about that last one. Then without a word, Lucian walked away back towards the entrance, stopping after a few paces and calling out.

"This mean that you're going to kill me too once you're finished with them?" he asked, not bothering to look back as he did so. Ethic stood silently for a moment, then spoke "Not unless you give me a reason to." he said simply. Lucian started walking again, then stopped after two steps.

"What if someone else down here tries to kill me?" he asked, again, there was a moment of silence from Ethic... but this one was much longer than the last. Lucian expected this to mean a definite yes, and so walked off again, stopping in surprise when he heard Ethic's voice echo out.

'Anyone who kills Cain will suffer vengeance seven times over',” the young man stated simply "that's from Genesis 4 of the NIV version of the bible." Ethic turned around and started to walk away, calling out as he did so "Consider yourself to be Cain, Lucian." he said "anyone other than myself who kills you will receive a fate from my hands that is far worse." with that, Ethic disappeared into the gloom of the dimly lit greenhouse further in, searching for the source of the laughter and scream. Lucian made his way through the gates and back out of the Greenhouse into the night air of the gardens, not really knowing where he was headed in his Exile, as he walked however;he noticed the feel of carved wood in his hands, and looked down, seeing his old staff there. he looked down at his clothes, which were unchanged. in the air nearby, a vortex sound echoed out, and he looked up to see a rift opening in the air, a hand reaching out and offering itself to him as a familiar voice called out.

"Well, Lucian, looks like you've been put out to pasture," it began, a pair of gleaming yellow eyes gazing out from the rift "Ethic doesn't appreciate your help it seems... but I'm not an ungrateful little shit like he is." Maxwell's face became fully visible as he stepped out of the tear and unto the grass, that ever present smirk on his face...

don-draper-1.jpg

"We want the same things, you and I," he continued "The fall of the council. so why not work together to see it happen? Your hopes of working with Ethic to accomplish it are pretty much dead, so why not take the only other path available?" he stuck his hand out. Lucian stared at him for a long moment, his face unreadable as he considered the other. Maxwell decided to give him a little more motivation "Did I mention that I'd give you back your powers as Keeper of the Magician?"

Lucian stared a little longer, still pondering. then he looked Maxwell in the eye... and silently reached his own hand out, and shook with Maxwell. "Fine," he finally said "guess I have no real choice." Maxwell smiled ominously as he held out his hand, the rift in the air growing even larger. it now stood as large as a pair of double doors, a rip in the fabric of the current dimension, the black and white of the Arcane Path in stark and sudden contrast with the greens and reds and blues and other colors of the plants around them in the gardens. he beckoned Lucian forward, following behind him as he stepped through.

"Good choice," he said "Now then, we've some work to do..." with that, the rift sealed shut behind them, leaving nothing but the still air in it's place.

Ouchie.

After shaking her head a bit, Enya looked around-- what a pretty garden all around them! Colorful, blooming flowers, big leafy shrubs and bushes, and huge huuuuuuge trees surrounded them.

Unfazed by having bumped into Miss Annie, she merely praised the beauty around. "This is a pretty place to get lost in! And so are the demons that could come and greet us."

"Sure you can Mia!" said the optimistic artist. "She's the one who protected me along the way through the top of this garden." Ixidor smiles and looks at Kayle. The Angel puts down her bastard sword and keeps a straight face. "Ok, now that's out of the way. how are we gonna get out of here?"

Rose

Rose found herself in a different part of the jungle than the others. There the plants seemed to have grown less, and the atmosphere was way more enjoyable. A particularly huge three stood just in front of her, and under it was Aighan, facing straight at her with his charming smile.

"Yo! Glad to see you made it here, miss Rose. How are you doing?"

==================================

Ixidor & Ethic

"Well, that's what I wanted to talk about..." Mia started to say, only to stop suddenly. " Wait, there's someone coming!" She said with a scared voice as steps started sounding. Just then, Ethic turned around the corner.

((I got few time now, gonna answer Phantom and the others as soon as I can.))

"Aighan," Rose greeted in a relatively normal voice. "I suppose it's good to see you again." Keeping in mind Enya's warning about the second circle staff, she lifted her spear so that it wouldn't seem like she was threatening the man, but could put it down in an instant if needed. "Are you here to help me get out of here, or to cause me harm?" Letting out a dry, humorless chucke, the woman continued, "I suppose the others are in further, yes?"

Phantom

He found himself near a small waterfall. The space there was open, with just small silvery flowers growing near the water. Sitting there among them was Meridian, who looked straight at him with her clear eyes.

"Hi." She said simply. "Your friends are in danger. Would you like to help them?"

========================================

Rose

Aighan smiled, getting up slowly in a fluid motion and walking towards Rose. "Well, neither one thing nor another at first." he answered her. "You see, Mother said we can't let you guys out, so we'll have to finish you here. But, you're beautiful and I liked you so..." While he spoke, a red mist started to get up from the floor, making Rose feel light-headed. Before she could react, he embraced her and spoke in her ear. "Why would you want to leave? Someday you'll get back here anyway when you die. Stay here now, with me, and I promise you'll never notice this is Hell."

Annie's eyes widened a bit when she looked at who she had bumped in to. Enya and Ellaria. She offered a hand to help the two up, and upon remembering Ellaria was blind, calmly spoke to inform her who it was.

"Hi, you two. It's me, Annie. I think we're stuck here together, so we should probably stay close. I know I'm hardly a Rose replacement, but..." Annie looked around her. It really was a beautiful place to become lost. She saw the path that went deeper into the greenhouse.

"We're all split up, because nobody bothered to try and go in together. Let's go deeper in and try to find them." She stood to the side of Ellaria, close enough so Ellaria knew she was there, but far away enough to give her personal space. She barely knew her, best not to intrude.

Annie, Ellaria & Enya

What... Annie? Ellaria thought, realising her mistake. "Oh, sorry! I thought you were Rose..." The girl started to say, a llittle unsure. She didn't have much contact with Annie up to the point, but she remembered that Rose seemed to trust her. Besides, it was not like they had any alternative at the moment. "Yeah, you're right, we better keep moving." She felt the air around her and found Enya's hand, holding it like Rose did. And then they started walking into the jungle.

Quincy

The Rat-Man laughed in his mind, antecipation and joy filling him as he stpotted his first prey. Ooh, finally gonna have some fun around here! He thought from his place over a tree, taking aim on the three girls bellow him.

"Stay back Mia" the young artist warns his succubus friend. The Angel steps forward, Kayle raise her sword, firmly grips the hilt with her two hands and remains on guard to see the unknown treat. Ixidor was shock when he saw Ethic out of the corner. out of all the people he could encounter, the one who abandon him in the hands of Marcus shows up. "Wait!" he commanded Kayle to stand down. "Mister Ethic?" the one-hand artist approach the man cautiously.

Phantom arrived at the waterfall. Like everything he'd seen here, the place was beautiful in its own way. He saw... Meridian, as she had introduced herself before, sitting among the flowers.

"Hi. Your friends are in danger. Would you like to help them?"

He paused, still looking at her eyes.

Friends... he thought. What was it to have a friend? He certainly didn't think he had any, though he couldn't be sure without understanding just what a friend was. He voiced his thoughts in his ethereal tone.

"Friends..." He paused for a while, looking down at the flowers. "What are... friends?"

Rose swayed as the mist began to swirl upward, making her feel light-headed and slightly woozy. Before she could try to speak or bring her spear down for protection, Aighan had embraced her. Fighting to keep her clarity of mind, the woman half-stuttered, half-slurred, "What is this mist doing to me? How do I know I can trust you to keep me safe? You say you like me but..." She blushed as she realized the man had said she was beautiful. She realized she couldn't deny that he was really attractive.

Pulling away from him slowly, Rose asked, "What about the others?" Despite her initial anger toward them, if they were going to die it had to be her job to save them. "I can't just leave them to die." She then lost her fight to remain lucid, and crumpled to the floor breathing in the red mist.

Ethic merely stood there at the bend in the path, looking over at Ixidor in the distance, motionless as he analyzed the boy, contemplating what he would do now... on one hand, he could kill Ixidor like he said he would... but on the other hand, why? was it really justified? He didn't have the whole story of what occurred all those times, only his own perspective from what he experienced as a result... what if Ixidor really is innocent and everything that went down really was the doing of some force outside of his conscious control? he stood there, merely pondering. He took a step backwards as a sudden burst of voices rushed through his mind... they were Ixidor's.

"Well, I really don't know, Mr.Ethic. this place seems to give you these strange kind of powers, it seems i been given the ability of creating things by drawing and eliminating objects including my creations... I really don't know but the thing is every time i draw something keeps holding me back from creating something decent. Maybe it's my repress frustration and emotion due to my parents raising methods. Giving me pressure to become one of them, a great artist someday. My mistakes are never go unpunished as i repeat my artwork over and over until i get it right ."

Ethic rubbed his temples as the snippets of conversation continued to flow in and out, growing more painful with each second. What is this? he thought to himself as he took a few more steps back What's going on? when did I hear this? I...I never had this conversation...I don't think... his thoughts were cut off as more of the dialogue in Ixidor's voice came surging in, driving him to his knees... it felt like something was trying to crush his skull.

"Suddenly i can hear these thoughts talking to me as if my flaws came to haunt me in this place, this place somehow amplifies those thoughts or maybe i'm going insane. I think that thing back there was product of my thoughts and emotions, to be honest i didn't know how i did that. but I didn't meant to hurt you guys! you gotta to believe me! I'm sorry."

"STOOOOP!!!!" he finally screamed as the pain became unbearable, the voice fading back into nothing as he did so. he sat there on his knees, still clutching his head, his face and hands drenched in sweat as he tried to catch his breath, though he had no idea why he was even panting... his thoughts ran wild as he attempted to recover from whatever the hell what just happened was. that was his voice... saying those things, but when? why would I know them? I never had a conversation that included those statements with Ixidor... at least... I'm pretty sure I didn't... and If I did, why the hell would I not be able to remember something like that? He shook his head silently as he tried to go back in his memories in order to try to find where and when the words had come from, what the situation of their context had been... and he found nothing that could've given an explanation... he delved deeper, going to when him, Kenny and Ix had been traveling together when the wolf attacked... maybe it had something to do with that? he could remember invoking the magician... of launching tendrils of fire at it... he knew that he couldn't hit it... that it had disappeared... then the next thing that was in his memory following that was being impaled with glass inside the prism...about how he'd heard the Keepers argue and had come back from the brink, somehow outside the thing... "Enough." he said silently as he stopped trying to remember where the words had been spoken, or even if they had been... not like he'd found it away. he stopped clutching his head, lowering his hands to his side, trying to get up, but finding that his legs weren't responding. he tried again, this time harder, and was able to slowly bring himself up to a kneeling position, his legs weak for some reason.

After what just went down, Ethic honestly didn't know what he was going to do... though, killing Ixidor seemed to be a rash decision in his mind now, especially now that he finally noticed the angelic like being glaring at him from Ixidor's side... not to mention that the flaming sword at her side, which made Ethic all the more uneasy as he felt a cold sweat beginning to break out. he forced himself to stand up, backing up a little, his stomach beginning to clench in fear as he stared at the fire engulfing the blade. what the hell's wrong with me? he thought to himself as he backed up a little why...why does the sight of fire freak me out so much all of a sudden? he stood there, silent...a war going on in his mind, part of him wanted to run as far away from that sword as he could get... that was the irrational side, the side controlled by his fear... but there was still some logic, still some basic reasoning on the other side, and it was telling him to stay for now...

and despite his pulse beginning to quicken along with his breathing, the sweat beginning to grow heavier and heavier, he chose the latter, and stayed planted to the spot he stood in.

Rose

"Oh, this mist? It's just a little something from the garden's flowers. It heightens the senses. It's a little too overwhelming at first, but you'll like it..." Aighan said, kneeling near Rose - very near - and starting to caress her. "See, ain't it good?" he whispered with his smooth voice to her ear. "Why do you care about the others anyway? Can't you see they just abandoned you when they had the chance?" he kissed her cheek, and started running his mouth towards her neck. "Just forget it..."

=================================

Phantom

"Friends are people you want to protect. People you would risk your life to save, even without a clear reason to do it." Meridian said, her gaze lost in the flowers as always. Then she looked again at Phantom's eyes. "Like you to me. I think that's the most simple way to put it." She paused for a second. "If you want to, we can save them. If you don't, I can help you go where you want to. It's up to you."

===================================

Ixidor & Ethic

Mia hid behind Ixidor, and almost jumped when Ethic screamed. When the newcomer finally stood up, she spoke in a tremble voice. "I-Ix, who is this man? I don't like the way he's looking at us."

((By the way Typh, remember Ix still does not know she's a succubus. She just said she lived there.))

"I... am your friend...?"

He paused for awhile, walking among the flowers, taking care not to step on them. He had a lot to think over. It turned out that he did have a friend. Or at least, someone who considered him one. He thought to her exact words.

"Friends are people you want to protect. People you would risk your life to save, even without a clear reason to do it."

Immediately the memory flashed through his mind, the memory Minos had restored to him. The face of a girl... a girl he felt like he would do anything to protect.

"Lyra..." he whispered. She must have been a friend to him, if he would feel that way. He looked back to Meridian. She so resembled the girl from his memories. She was the only friend he had here. But...

He thought back to the earlier times in the library. How he had fought the man with the knife, how he had dragged the two boys out of the prism, how he had intercepted the panther. He hadn't known why he had done it, but he had risked his life for them. Did that mean... they were friends too? But he didn't have the same urge to protect them as he would Meridian, or the other girl in his memories. Perhaps they weren't really friends, at least not yet.

He walked back to Meridian, his choice made. "Meridian...my... friend..." He paused. "I willl... help... others..."

"...I will help..."

Mr. Taylor smirked at the red head's last statement. If he'd heard that just a few moments ago it might've sent Michael in to a rage. Luckily for her it was the elderly Mr. Taylor that had heard that statement, not the rambunctious Michael. Or was it truly lucky? Did this girl have some knowledge of Mr. Taylor and was merely testing him? Mr. Taylor knew he'd have to be careful. This person is surely an agent of hell and whatever she, or more likely it, said could hardly be trusted.

"Well yes my dear, I am quite the knew face," he smiled gently at the girl, "But, I can't say I hope to stay here much longer I'm afraid. If you would be so kind as to point me down to the next level I would be quite appreciative."

Ixidor turns around to acknowledge Mia. "Just an acquaintance who help me along the way through this place." Ixidor said with a bit of doubt in his tone. "just stay here. ok? if anything happens just go i'll catch up." The artist steps forth towards Ethic feeling abit freak out. Ixidor confronts the man trying to get a grip of the situation. Kayle steps forward as well fulfilling her duty to protect his master at all cost. "Kayle, laydown your sword" Ixidor said. The angel planted her sword to the ground and remains a firm stand, guarding Ixidor within her range, keeping an eye on the two. Ixidor hides his amputated hand behind his back. "Are you ok mr.Ethic?" said the concern artist seeing the troubled man.

Mr Taylor

Lara shifted in the branch were she stood, laying down on her back and looking at Mr Taylor over her shoulder. "Ooh, so we actually have a gentleman here uhn? Interesting." In a quick motion, she leapt down from the branch and stood a little away from the explorer. "But still grandpa, I cannot just let you walk by to the next circle. Orders from mother. Aaand you don't make my type - no offense meant - so I won't bother to take you as my pet. Gooooodbyyyye~"

After saying that, all happened of a sudden. Wings sprouted out of her back, huge and bat-like. Two twisted black horns appeared on her forehead, and she seemed to have grown a tail as well. Her incisive teeth also grew unnaturally big.

The succubus bit her own lips, making blood drip down her chin. Licking the blood out of her mouth with a lustful expression, she started to walk towards Mr. Taylor.

For the first time, Meridian smiled. "Good." she answered him. "Then follow me, it has already started." The girl got up and, waving gracefully at the plants, opened a path on the dense forest walking into it without delay.

Rose struggled to keep her mind in the right place. "No..." she groaned, trying to hold Aighan off without much success. The mist had her so light-headed that she was having issues moving. "They-they wouldn't leave me... Would they?" Looking up at the person she instinctively knew she couldn't trust, all she felt was a daze. "How do I trust you?" she asked again, uncertain of how to escape the situation she was in and wishing that she had stayed with the others.

Emotions flooded through Mr. Taylor as the girl revealed her true form. His gun was empty and his body frail. Still, Mr. Taylor reached for his whip. He knew he couldn't take the beast down, but he wasn't a man to go down peacefully. But, before he could pull out his weapon a thought struck him.

"Your mother you say?" he began feeling more confident talking to the demon. "She wouldn't perhaps be in charge of this circle? For you see Minos has asked me to send her a message. He claimed it to be of the utmost importance and that I should report it to no one but her and her alone." While he spoke these words, no lie could be seen in his face.
