Rose

"Just follow your desires..." Aighan said, opening his mouth. Rose had the weird impression that his incisives got bigger...

A shot was fired, and Aighan was blown away by the impact. "You get away from the girl, bastard." Byron said. He had left Kenny on the ground for doing the shot, which got the young man around his lungs. The body had rolled away from Rose and was laying face down in a pool of blood. "Hey Rose, you okay?" the marksman asked, helping the girl to get up.

Annie, Enya & Ellaria

A shot answered Annie. The bullet, sparks flying from it, flew straight towards her while the shooter jumped from a tree to another laughing.

Ellaria screamed and ducked for cover, and this way the battle started.

Mr. Taylor

Lara didn't stop for a moment, a wild look on her face. "Whatever. That old snake Minos has no power over here, and I'm soooo wanting blood now... She can get it from your dead body later." As the demon advanced, her eyes showed she was totally crazed on her blood lust.

"Hi Lara. Would you be so kind as to get away from the gentleman?"

Meridian's voice rung clear and pure through the scene as she walked from a new path in the jungle beside Phantom. The red headed succubus turned to her at once, surprise and anger written all over her face.

"You get away, you little bitch. That's my meal!" Lara charged at Mr. Taylor hurriedly, mouth wide open aiming for his neck.

[Flux]

Phantom rushed forward with unexpected speed, drawing his sword as he dashed between the man and the succubus. He held it in front of him, blade pointed at the creature. He wasn't sure what exactly was happening, but then again, when had he ever really understood? All he knew was the man's life was in danger, and he had decided to help these people. He was ready to enter the other dimension, and take the older man with him if necessary. He spoke to the attacker.

"...Stop..."

[anethia]

Annie stood tense as she awaited a reply. All she got was a bullet. The ring on her index finger revealed a small spike. As she threw her hand to block the bullet, she cut her thumb on the spike and activated her power, turning her hand hard. She looked at the rat. Jumping. With superhuman speed, she ran to the next tree he was going to jump too and smashed it down with her fists.

"Tell me, rodent. What fighting experience do you have? I was trained in martial arts from a young age, and have to ask." Annie whispered, "What's a rat to a warrior?"

[Supernovae]

Mr. Taylor quickly dropped to the ground and ripped the whip from behind his back. As his body hit the ground he lashed it directly at Lara's wing.

[Rosesong]

"By-Byron," Rose wheezed. "I don't know how I could ever thank you for this." As her savior helped her up, she saw Kenny. "Oh, so that's why Kenny couldn't hold the portal. He died..." she trailed off, uncertain of what to say. Looking at Byron again, she gave him a quick hug. "Thank you for bringing Kenny too," she said, before turning her thoughts elsewhere.

Picking up her spear, Rose stumbled over to Aighan. Whether Byron's shot had killed him or not, she didn't know. "You could have been a really kind person," she told Aighan's unmoving body. Now that he was out, the woman found it easier to think. "I hope you get to live a better life one day." With that, she sunk her spear into his skull, satisfying herself that he was dead. Taking the spear out, she quickly took out her contacts and left them on the ground and turned back to Byron and Kenny's unconscious form. "I'm ready when you are," she said firmly, using her spear as a walking stick to rejoin them.

[Notus]

Annie, Ellaria & Enya

Having lost his landing place, Quincy rolled on the ground and got up running behind the plants to make it harder for Annie to find him. "Haha! Combat is not an art, it's FUN!" he said shooting two bullets at Annie's legs with impecable aim. "And the funny thing is that I always win!"

Mr.Taylor & Phantom

Phantom's blade surprised Lara forcing her to change her course, and just then Mr. Taylor's whip struck. She screamed and flew backwards, taking a small distance from the two men. She glared at them with rage in her eyes, and then flew upwards out of their reach, waiting for an oportunity to strike.

Rose, Kenny & Byron

Suddenly the group heard a laugh. Aighan's laugh. The man was sitting in the ground, spear in hand and blood all over him, laughing maniacally. "Nice try, you just chose the wrong place to stab, dear Rose." He said, getting up assuming a more serious posture. "Oh how unfortunate. You know, I liked you for real. You'd make a wonderful toy. Now I'll have to kill you both for good."

With that, Aighan assumed his demon form, wings and teeth, horns and claws growing in the blink of an eye. The incubbus looked at Rose's eyes and dashed towards the duo.

"If you think killing people is fun, you're sorely mistaken." Annie said as she walked towards Quincy. Her skin hardened, blocking his bullets as she walked towards the plants. "If you kill with no mercy and happiness, I swear to whatever sick god is putting me through this I will end you." Annie broke out into a run at super human speed, dashing into the plants and running right up to Quincy.

"Surprise." She grabbed his shoulder, then his arm, and kicked his shin, throwing him onto the ground. Then, she stood on both of his hands and kept him there.

((Sorry if the grab and lock thing is not very nice but uhm I just dont really see how Quincy can get out of a grab before I have time to throw him on the ground and stand on his hands??))

[Notus]

Annie

"Uh oh. Bad idea girl." Quincy laughed on the floor. Sparks flew out of his hands as he sent an electric charge through Annie's bodie, enough to fry any normal human. The girl was sent flying away with the shock.

The rat man kept laughing while he got up, blood dripping from his mouth from Annie's blow. "See? How is that not fun?!"

Annie stood up, visibly shaking from the impact. Her hardened skin was the only reason she had even survived.

"You.." Annie breathed, "You are a monster. I won't let you continue like you are. You are a monster." Annie's power radiated from her body as she activated a part of it nobody else had seen her use.

She broke Quincy's legs. Without touching them, she made then snap and crumble on his own weight. She walked towards him.

"You. Are. A. MONSTER!" Annie rocketed herself forward, jumped high into the air, and powered herself in the direction of Quincy, with enough force to smash the ground into pieces.

((Finally got a chance to use her power's other effects! Damn that took way too long, lol))

[Rosesong]

Rose cursed under her breath. "I don't want to be a toy Aighan," she retorted angrily. "I want to be treated like a person, respected and trusted, able to trust." As she said this, she caught sight of the spear in his hand. /Great, I can't have that anymore,/ she thought bitterly.

Snagging a deck of cards, she kept looking at him. "So long, Svengali," she said aloud. "Nice knowing you." Before anyone could move, she began rapid firing cards, occasionally sending some to the left or right, but all headed toward the demon with deadly force held within the spin.

[Sutoratosu]

"Stay back." Ethic snarled as he took a few tentative steps away, snapping back to his senses as he noticed the boy approached, becoming again conscious of just how dangerous the little shit could be. he may not have thought that killing him was a necessary course right now... but that sure as hell didn't mean he trusted this kid, not after all the shit that he had pulled earlier. though, he could feel his body relaxing a little as Ixidor's guardian layed her sword on the ground, the fire of the blade no longer in direct view. he was a bit short on options right now... Killing Ix was not a likely choice, and neither was trusting him... Ethic simply had no idea what he wanted to do about this... so that left him with one option, put as much god damn distance between himself and Ixidor as possible until he determined whether or not the kid really was a filthy traitor, though until he did so, he would assume Ixidor to indeed be guilty of betrayal against himself and Kenny "Just stay away from me" he continued, his hard stare boring into Ixidor as he spoke "Just stay away, and we might not have any issues...Traitor" with that, he turned and started walking off down the path, not knowing where he was headed, just that he didn't want to spent another second in Ix's company, for now, doing so would only serve to disgust him.

Ixidor just stood there as Ethic walks away, feeling all guilty and hurt inside as he tries to hold his teary eyes. Kayle approaches the artist after the man left, "Who was that? are you okay master?" Kayle said as she kneels down to his level. "I'm fine" he heavily sighed "just one of my friends" the artist wipes his eyes. "why did he call you traitor? is there something i should know about?" the angel said with a concern look on her face. Ixidor sniffs his nose. "He's right, I can't really blame him, every time i use my ability to help others, i'm endangering everyone around me. its not the first time i lost a friend due to this curse." Ixidor remembers Marcus in his mind. Kayle stands up and lifts the artist's chin, It's the first time one of Ixidor's creations shows a bit of emotion as Kayle sympathize for her master. "Listen, I'm not here to judge, master. my duty is to protect you at all cost. If it makes any difference i think you're a good hearted person. your intentions are pure in helping others. Don't let these setback hold you down in doing what's right." Kayle's angelic face smiles at him. Ixidor feels a bit relieve as he rub his watery eyes.

"come on lets go back to Mia and lets get out of here." they went back to the girl.

Mr. Taylor scurried to his feet, the best he could and looked over to the masked man. He gave him a slight nod and re positioned himself so that he could easily get his whip around the demon if she charged again.

[Notus]

Annie, Ellaria & Enya

Seeing that he wouldn't be able to avoid Annie's attack, Quincy saved all the electricity in his body and readied it for the discharge. Any struck him like a truck, and he discharged all of it at once in the girl before flying away, stoping with a bang against the trunk of a tree.

"Not... funny." the rat managed to say before lying still.

Rose, Kenny & Byron

Aighan flapped his wings with full strenght, going up in a gust of wind and sucessfully avoiding Rose's cards. Then he threw the spear with inhuman strenght towards the girl.

Byron tried to shoot him, but the incubbus was to agile in the sky. He did manage to hit his wings, but despite the blood dripping from them, he completely ignored it.

"Is everything alright Ix?" Mia asked as the boy came back. He didn't look like it was; something had passed on between these two men, and she was worried about the young painter's feelings.

Mr. Taylor and Phantom

The succubus hissed at them loudly. "Oh, you should be carefull with the snakes now." Meridian said casually, after having walked to their side. Before anyone could ask what she was talking about, the vines on the trees came to life, now turned in vipers. They jumped at them from all directions, and Meridian raised a hand.

A sudden blast of wind sent most of the vipers flying away, but a considerable amount of them still advanced, ignoring the girl and heading straight towards the two men.

[anethia]

Annie's body violently shook as she fell to the ground. She slowly heaved herself up, and began coughing in a violent spasm. Slowly, she began to limp in the air. Her voice was croaky and strained as she muttered,

"Enya.. Elarria.. Follow me.. We're going to find some help." Annie slowly walked in the direction the path led her to, breathing erratically. Her voice rang out as loud as she could - in her current state, not very loud but.. maybe..

"Help.."

[Rosesong]

Rose saw the spear leave Aighan's hand and leant to the side, letting it catch her once wounded shoulder. Seeing Byron's bullets have no effect on him, Rose wondered if they'd be able to win at all.

Taking a deep breath, she decided to try pyrokinesthesia. Locking her gaze on Aighan while dodging his attacks, she thought, /Incinerate!/ and held her breath, waiting to see what would happen.

[Flux]

Phantom grabbed the older man as the snakes approached.

"Come!"

He spoke urgently, his voice closer to a normal voice than it had been before. Without waiting for a reaction from the man, he opened a portal and pushed him into it, letting it close behind the man, leaving Phantom and Meridian alone with the snakes. He knew that no one could survive in the other dimension for long, and surely not as long as Phantom himself could, having adapted somewhat to the place's conditions. He would need to be quick with his next moves. He ran towards Meridian, lopping off the head of a viper that got too close. He gently put a hand on her shoulder, opening a portal next to them.

"Trust... friend..." he said, motioning for her to enter. Mr. Taylor would be having a hard time keeping alive in there, and it would only get harder the longer he stayed.

[Zephyrus the Priestess]

"Oh..." Enya had no idea what to summon to help Miss Annie. Not even Ace seemed to have anything to say.

A black and white paramedic walked out of a tear-- that was the only she could think of calling out-- but it was much harder to keep a living being existing. The paramedic laid her-- his?-- hands on the electrocuted woman, pulling out a kit of some sort, but the little girl had no idea if it would do any good.

[Ragnar]

Ixidor keeps a downcast expression as he slowly walks towards Mia. He wipes his eyes and regains his composure "Yeah, i'm ok. just got something in my eyes," Ixidor puts up a half smile. "don't worry about that stranger, he's just passing by, i promise i won't be bothering him anymore. " said the artist with a bit of sadness. "Come on, lets get a move on. where to now?" said the artist as he extend his hand to Mia.

[K_H]

Kenny had woken up by this time, and saw the creature hit Rose with her own spear, and then take off.

you hurt my ally... I cannot allow you to do that.

He then made an Anvil made of Tungsten appear a few meters above the Flying creature, and then the Anvil came speeding down towards it.

Annie, Ellaria & Enya

Ellaria didn't know exactly what was going on, but she heard Annie's weak cry of help. Going to the place where she heard it from, the girl grabbed her companion's hand. It was hot, just as if the girl had been burned, and trembling with spasms. "Help! Someone help here!" Ellaria echoed the other's cry. Then, trying to calm her down, although in a rather scared voice, she spoke. "Annie... Everything is gonna be fine." Then she heard a ripping noise someone appeared near her. "Who's there?" she asked

Rose, Byron & Kenny

"Rose!" Byron screamed, worried with the girl's wound, but she seemed to be OK and they had no time to check it now.

Aighan erupted in fire, and let out a painful scream. Even then, his flaming figure woudn't stop coming towards the group.

"What the...How the hell do we kill this guy?" Byron asked aloud, surprised. Then he put himself to think. If he knew his mitology right, Aighan should be an Incubbus, the demon that originated the vampire's legend. That was as good a guess as any, judging by the way he tried to bite Rose's neck and by his imunity to their attacks. Still, there was no clear way to kill an Incubbus,unless...

You aimed in the wrong place

"Rose, I'll try to paralize him for a while. While I do that, get another spear and aim for his heart" he hoped he was getting it right and the vampire legends were right.

Byron dashed to the right, hoping to get Aighan's attention and shot a bolt of lightining in his direction, hopefully enough to shock him for a while. At the same time, he saw Kenny get up and materilized an anvil(?!), which hit Aighan's head, making the demon lose just enough time for Byron's shot to land squarely.

Great timing Kenny! He thought with a smile before shouting at Rose. "NOW!"

Meridian smiled at Phantom and answered simply. "Yes." while walking in. However Lara, realising what they were doing, closed her wings and dove over Phantom at full speed, screaming.

Ixidor

"Oh yes, that's right Ix! Come, I'll take you to meet mother." Mia answered.

She waved her hand and the ground opened with a huge noise, revealing a stairway that went deepdown on the earth. "It's this way!" she told the painter, and started going down.

Ethic

Ethic heard twp sounds almost at the same time. One was a huge noise of something moving coming from Ixidor's direction, followed by the ground shaking. Just then he hear someone screaming for help from the other end of the path he was in. It seemed to be Ellaria's voice.

Kenny, after hearing Byron speak, made an Iron Lance appear in an easy-to-see-and-reach Location for Rose. he then got a mild Headache. His Sooty Coating had crumbled at the joints, and now acted as some sort of very weak armor that could only absorb a very small amount of the damage from a single hit before being completely destroyed.

Ixidor was amaze at what he just saw, a passage appears from the ground as Mia waves her hands and goes through the stairs. Without any second thoughts the painter walks towards it. Kayle grabs Ixidor's shoulder just before the artist was about to embark on the steps. "Wait, She uses witchcraft, master. And you completely trust her? how long have you exactly known this person?" Kayle questions the boy. "the moment that i created you." Ixidor smiles at the doubting angel. "don't worry about it, i'm sure i can trust her, she treated me when i lost my hand and besides she knows the place better than i do." Ixidor said. The artist takes the stairs down under following Mia. The Valkyrie doesn't approve of the boy's poor judgement as she went along with him.

[Zephyrus the Priestess]

"A doctor," the little child replied quietly, straining to keep the doctor in this dimension, in this time. Noiselessly, the paramedic spoke to himself-- or herself, it really was hard to tell with only black and white, alternating and flickering like static, features visible on the figure of the healer-- as he checked the severity of Miss Annie's burns. Apparently, simple burns could be treated with just ointment and dressing, but far severe cases could call for skin grafting, surgery, or worse, amputation...

[Rosesong]

Rose looked around, trying to find her spear when an iron one appeared out of nowhere. Taking it and hollering her thanks to Kenny, Rose flung the lance straight towards Aighan's heart with her good arm, aim impeccable. She closed her eyes, hopeful that the spear would hit its mark and rid them of this hellacious nuisance.
