BlahNetworkBro
So earlier today I was tweeting TheJwittz about Pokemon shining diamond and sparkling pearl(not real games). Later I updated my status on reborn talking about how there needs to be a game where you start in Kanto going through all regions having your Pokemon stored each time. Months ago I was talking to some people about I want to make (someone help me). I realized there's a lot of Pokemon games out there but there's not enough. What games do you think need to be made by Nintendo game freak? Personally I've already told you about what I call Pokemon life. I also think they should make another explorers game in sprite style and with a lot of content and character like Pokemon sky but with all the new gens. Sylvan Nephilim
Haha... I'm happy with Pokemon Reborn, Xeta/Omicron, OR/AS and X/Y. I'm not holding out hope that anyone will make a Pokemon game with all the regions.™ Edited June 13, 2014 by RumbleTTT
Chevaleresse
It basically comes down to the fact that Gamefreak can make way more cash off of remakes than a game where you visit every region.
Cepheus
IF there was a Pokemon game with every Region, every Pokemon... it would be huge! also in a normal Pokemon game you reach the Elite 4 with Pokemon around Level 60-70. In Gold / Silver you can visit Kanto after the elite 4... and let me tell you this: I swept Kantos Gyms without mercy... there was no challange! I was like: "hmmm Brock... he uses Rock/Ground... Go Feraligator!" I didn't even lose one Pokemon in any of those battles! Because I knew what types they used...so I just straight forward countered them. With all regions you had to use a dynamic Level System. So that the Leader you are facing is equal to your Levels... it wouldn't be fund if you went through Kanto, Unova and Sinnoh and than go to Johto and face Bugsys Level 24 Scyther, while your Pokemon would be already Level 100. And don't come with an MMORPG-Argument... we all know it would leave the world in ruin... were Nintendo rules all and no one is working enymore (because everyone would be playing the Pokemon MMO, and therefore giving Nintendo our money...) PerfectMafia
IMO, any idea for a "All Regions" Pokemon Game would need to have a checkpoint between regions where you can't bring Pokemon of a certain level from your initial region/any region already beaten until you reach [insert badge number]. Cuddlesworth
A game with all the regions would be tedious. A single player game shouldn't be that long. Look at Kanto and how dry and pathetic it felt after beating the Johto League. It may even affect the level cap of the regions. Remember Johto's wild pokemon levels before E4. A better representation of regions, would be trainer cameos or sideline mentions / lore of the region itself. If they really would like to implement a visit a region. It would be better to restrict access to the region being visited, sort of like a passport that only allows you to visit certain areas. For example, you'd only be able to visit port cities like Kanto's Vermillion or Unova's Castelia. You'd do something significant in that place and then leave. It would be a tease of sorts but I believe that would be the best way for fanservices of regions.
