Help! Daycare overwrote my most important move!

So, I'm stuck in the second gym, and I noticed that Cradily isn't weak or strong towards fighting types, and that Whirlwind might be able to force Cradily out of the battle. I caught a level 10 Makuhita, leveled it up to level 16, and then decided to place it in the daycare (I had no idea about the price as well)....

After running in circles a bunch, I went to pick up my Makuhita that I had gained from the daycare at level 20, and without checking their moves, I immediately went to the gym... Only to see that Makuhita's most powerful move (Or at least the one I like the most and use the most) was replaced by a weak dark move...

Anyways, now with a screwed Makuhita, I don't know what to do. I don't want to go through capturing a new makuhita and leveling it up to level 20 and I don't have any more money to put another one in the daycare.... Is it possible for an admin to edit my save files and replace the dark move with vital throw? It learned the move without my consent.....

(Tell me which data files to send to you, and I will send them. I have no trouble locating the rxdata file, just tell me the name of the file)

EDIT: I should note that I saved before the gym battle, I saved... So relogging won't work.

you could get the move relearner in the same ward as the gym to teach it vital throw if you have a heart scale.. its the house on the extreme left of the casino.. else just PM me your save file.. the Game.rxdata file.. i'll do it...

I can see why you would be upset but Knock Off isn't even bad. It has the highest base power of any move you have on there and is even stronger when it knocks off Cradily's item. I can't do much but most likely they'll want your save file (game.rxdata) if they want to help you out.

I don't have a heart scale, nor do I have any clues as to where I could get one.

After reading Taco's post, I prefer you keep the dark move and replace "Fake Out" with Vital Throw instead.

You only needed to give the save file. People do changes like this all the time. If I knew how to I would help you but unfortunately you might just have to wait for someone. Also, there is a heart scale if you search around hard enough in the obsidia park. I think its on one of the little rocks or bushes.

That is your data folder not your save file. Also this is easily fixed by just finding a heart scale so don't be lazy and search for one.

First of all who would get rid of fake out? It's a good move for makuhita AND it has a chance of doing more damage than arm thrust it's a prio move that can only be used once and has a 100% chance to flinch. Who wouldn't want that? Meanwhile arm thrust is inferior to vital throw in every way except Maybe doing more damage if every hit crits.

How long do you play Pokemon? Don't you know that the Day Care teaches the moves they learn by level up to the Pokemon? This is your mistake so you should fix it yourself imo (it's not that difficult too)

If I knew HOW to find a heart scale, I would have already done it.

I haven't played pokemon since about 5 years ago, until a friend told me about Pokemon Reborn.

That explains it, use a Hearth Scale (you can find 2-3 of them as hidden items) or train a new Makuhita (not so difficult) or just don't care and go with what you have

The REAL issue is how you're deleting really good moves in favor of piss-poor ones like Arm Thrust.

Nah, I ended up keeping fake out and the dark move instead of arm thrust.

I feel you, I was once breeding for eq on archeops and was trying to pass eq from corsola to archen, but apparently the daycare deleted eq from the corsola I was using so when I finally got that archen no eq.......
